Nice, simple and straightforward instructional video. I have the side cases and the top box on mine. It makes for a great lightweight tourer. BTW, you could fit a water buffalo in the top box.
Nice videos, very helpful. Are the side infill grab rails part stamped, if so what are the part numbers? I bought a slightly used TT660S with the rear luggage rack but I want the option to return her to the original state.
Well done video. I also installed the luggage rack and top case along with the panniers. My size large HJC helmet fits in the side panniers, but I often use the top box for convenience. I anticipate the top box will fit your size XL helmet. The only complaint I have is the quality of the design of the fasteners to attach the color matched panel on the top case. It uses very small screws which screw into very small receptacles. Two of the receptacles broke on my panel. Triumph replaced the panel under warranty. Other than that, I'm very happy with the Triumph top box and luggage. Also, I haven't noticed any effect on handling (low speed or high speed) with the top box installed.
Thank you for this video. I see that you unplug the battery each time you work on your bike , that's ok but like me , you have the shift assist and each time that i unplug the battery , i have to go to the dealership to reset the option . For me it's very complicated because my dealership agenda is always full for 2 months !! Do you have a trick to reset it without going to the dealership. Thank you for your help !! ( sorry for my bad english)
The shift assist can be turned back on in the menu. Look for TSA (Triumph Shift Assist) and make sure it is set to ENABLED).You should only need the dealer activation when it is first installed. ua-cam.com/video/0IVdwSHgtyg/v-deo.html
Nice vid. After being quite disappointed by the quality of the Triumph handguards for the price paid, I think I'll be going third-party for other add-ons.
The luggage is fine, what troubles me is the inner bags, they really are useless, triumph should have provided bags that fit the inside (like all other manufacturers do) rather then just providing a generic waterproof bag that by no means doesn’t use the available space optimally.
Thank you! Definitely made this go much faster than it would have to figure it out myself!
Glad it helped!

Thanks for the comment! Can't wait to test out that top case 😀
Superb video! Thanks
Great video, had my dealer do the install while it was in for it's first service it made sense (to me) at least.Excellent rack by the way.
It is definitely a nice piece of kit. Very nice fit and finish.

Very nice and clear video. Good job!
Glad you liked it!
Great content. Well explained. Will be doing this install myself in a couple of weeks. :)
Good luck! This is a great addition so far.
Im just here to add that with the stock grab rails the seat was difficult to put back on, installing the luggage rack made it significantly easier.
Hi, friend. I want to buy this, but I have a question, what is the maximum weight it can hold? I want to put a backpack and other things for camping.
If you ever install the sliders on the TS, it would be a great video. Those are hard to install and the instructions don’t do justice to the install.
Very informative but one second hand so video was great
Glad you liked it!

Yeah, the guards are expensive.
The rear luggage rack is made of Aluminum or Plastic?
The rack is made of aluminum.

I installed GIVI 58

Almost impossible to find everywhere is sold out
Does this luggage rack fits the triumph trident 660 ?
I don't think this will fit on the Trident. They do not list that as a compatible bike.
I just wonder.. why is the weight limit 5kgs, thats literally the weight of the topcase alone lol
I believe that Triumph is very cautious with their listed weight limits. Their own branded top case for this bike is fairly large.
There is no need to disconnect the battery and the rear fairing.
I specifically follow manufacturer instructions on the videos, but you can do what you want.
