@@GLifeUTV hightech power sports.. I had the liner for a little bit, but after two belts exploding, it cracked the plastic housing. Buy once, cry once 🤷♂️
Good video man, thanks for the discount code.... someone really disliked this video already? that's some straight ass hate from being jealous right there.. lol
I put the same liner on a few weeks ago. Wasn't much more difficult with the clutch housing already in place. Right angle drill and short drill bits. Now you need to do the Alba Racing quick disconnect kit. Use a universal socket and a nail to get the posts in.
Yea your right. This one was already trashed tho..lol.. this was a customers car. On my personal x3 i have an aluminum housing so i can use the alba racing quick disconnect kit.. its a dope option tho
@@GLifeUTV Yeah, I realized it was a customer car after I posted. lol, my bad. It would be cool if you did a follow up video on that customer if/when he breaks another belt to see how well the liner held up. Lots of differing opinions out there to the durability.
I recently bought boondocker uhmw liner to give it a shot,we use a lot of uhmw on my job and it absorbs and dissipate impacts way better than aluminum.
Great video. Those aluminum liners always made me wonder if they would allow water in where you drilled the new bolt holes. If I end up with one I'll probably seal the holes with silicon. Thank you fo the discount code.
Question...bolts to engine dor 2ndary and to primary clutch & puller.... turn opposite of lefty loose, right tighty? Correct? Confirming, i will set my impact right to loosen? Thanks, good videos.
Hey frank!. FYI you need to add like 12 to 15 more bolts on the liner for it to work properly . Trust me I learned the hard way!!lol. Belt will break and grab that thin aluminum and bend it into the clutch and scratch up the sheeves!. Makes a mess!!
I installed a zrp guard on my X3. Is it needed??? Not sure. No personal experience with the belt damaging that seal. But for 40$ might as well if your in there🧐🤷
That clutch housing is an engineering fault if they keep breaking like that every time the belt breaks. Why doesn’t can am fix or replaces that part . Should possibly be a lemon law complaint so that replace it with an aluminum one. $32000+tax buggy not happy if it was to break on your first ride😤😭😩

I went with an all aluminum clutch housing and quick disconnect t-pins. Game changer 👌
Seen that from a Kenny R. Those tpins are $.. Which ones did you go with

@@GLifeUTV didn't know they made a full housing.
I'm rocking a Dritbag custom Carbon fibre liner. A few blown belts and no issues whatsoever.

Nice. MY buddy Cj is doing the carbon fiber liner aswell. not sure what brand tho

Sounds like a good option.. uhmw is awesome. I need to get some uhmw for my skid plate it is shot.lol

hahaha.. recheck. I have the mrrpm housing. my buddy cj is gonna run a carbon fiber liner.
@@GLifeUTV hell yeah ballin!!
Great informative video. Trying to use the FrankG code and it says invalid
Sorry this code excited after 2 months
Make a video on how to replace clutch rollers, and also some better options or upgrades to the stock ones! 😅
U got it😁
what impact are you using and what setting did you use to put the primary back on?
Should be torqued to 89 ft lbs..and rechecked after heat cycled
🏆🏆🏆👍🙏
Thank you for sharing
Thank you too
If your going though all that, would it be better just to replace the whole housing with something stronger than plastic
You could replace it with mrrpm aluminum housing like i have on my x3 but its also 500$
@@GLifeUTV that’s not bad then I don’t ever have to worry about breaking the housing

Hey bro what washable air filter do you recommend
Stick with the oem air filter unless ur running a particle seperator.. i run the s&b washable air filter and the s & b particle separator
I would go with a aluminum clutch housing is my oem housing broke
Yea thats what i did. I think this a good option to install before your housing breaks🤷
Hey bro Henry here just wondering if you have changed your sparkplugs... yet ?
