Greetz from far away, from germany. I have one question and hope it's possible you can help me. I handle and own a true 2021 CAN AM XRS MAX TURBO RR smart shox. The current status sounds 3420km on the odo (means near 2100 mls) or 87 hrs. in case of my X3. Near 3000 km on the odo, the dashbord/cluster show of a little "wrench" - sign on the left side. I contact the authorized CAN AM-DEALER where I buy/got the Maverick X3 from and take/doing a "big service". Changing all fluids (oil's and filters, change the belt, greasing all bushings and so on). So far, so good... My problem sounds: The little "wrench" - sign of taken/done service CANT delete or deactivated?! The authorized CAN AM-DEALER delete/reset the "Service sign" and disconnect the Service-Tool/Device BUT the "Service-Sign" comes back same time of disconnect the tool. He repeat this "reset" - procedure few times more but nothing help's. Where the failure or on the other side, have you any other cases with same problems? My X3 XRS MAX TURBO RR 2021 smart shox have NO other electric gimmicks like sound roof or winch or other "electrical eater" installed. We have NO failure codes, the chassis itself NEVER seen offroad or dirt, mud, water, dust or anything else. Germany be a boring country like a flat pan where not possible to shred this fine machine... How we can fix this problem, which showing to me a problem of software?! Sidenote: The manual told to reset the maintance light, SELECT the "Menu" - Button to "RES MAINT" and hold the button BUT this "chapter" NOT EXIST in/at the list of Menu of my Maverick X3.
They need to do a personal software update from can am themselves. Your dealer needs to contact them and get a personal update. It happened to ours and we finally got it removed. Hope this helps!
@@esmeraldaleal1918 thanks for. Over many months the authorized dealer told me he unknown about any software problems BUT last week I got a call from same dealer he got information from Canada about more and more problems. The solution sounds like your message, got a software upgrade. After three or four months of babbling, I hope the upgrade will fix the problem.
Essentially: TRAIL gives great all-around performance, TRAIL ACTIV really steps up the grip coming from the front end for the fastest response when riding more aggressively. TRAIL mode uses front wheel speed sensors to compare the discrepancy and identify the slipping wheel. It will then synchronize both wheels as needed. For a wide range of conditions, TRAIL mode delivers predictable cornering and traction by progressively engaging the front end and maintaining the required axle lock as the conditions and driver input change. Smart-Lok has a progressive engagement that allows for lower, smoother steering effort at higher speeds that makes TRAIL mode so surefooted. vs The TRAIL ACTIV mode has been designed for aggressive riding in delivering the ultimate in cornering precision. On undulating terrain, quick corners, and loose surfaces, TRAIL ACTIV mode maximizes the 4WD system's speed, efficiency, and predictability. When high engine torque and/or an increase in vehicle speed is detected, Smart-Lok will progressively engage (lock) the front end until the throttle is released or the vehicle’s speed is reduced. The progressive engagement allows smoother steering effort and predictable response.
@@CANAMOFFROAD Thank you Thank you Thank !!! I searched for this answer and found this video but was bummed that the video didn’t go into depth like you did !! I’m glad I checked the comment section 🤙🏾 Safe Travels everyone !!
What does trail active do?
ua-cam.com/video/oxlVsTyWqBA/v-deo.html
That’s one thing he didn’t mention.
I can’t find the answer either I just always leave it on. I don’t even think can am knows what it means.
So what does rock mode do exact on the x rc?
That guy was meant for this job!!😁
Really good video you got to the point and explain things clearly! Good job
Had mine can am on high and 4x4 up a steep hill about 70 mph and both my axle messed up .....not sure if the 4x4 was damaged as well

Wouldn't have hurt to explain the difference between trail an trail active

Can you shut the diff lock off in the rear end?
I wonder too, as mine is always lock and a pain in the ass when turning sharp corners or ripping on the grass
The rear doesn't have a locker. It's constant drive to both rear wheels. Like a dirt quad.
my 2024 can am x3 go’s into limp mode after a while , only have 40 hours on it . anyone know why ?
What is the lil key in the right side of the speed numbers?
Does the xrc have sport mode just curious
Do you have to use Low gear when in 4x4? Or are you also OK using in High gear?
You can you high or low in 4x4. If you have a front locker. Then you can only go 5mph or less when front locker is engaged.
Curious what "MUD" mode would consist of?
For riding on pavement

Thanks for the info👌
why couldn't you explain the differences between Trail & Trail active? Also explain DPS
Dps I think is just the stiffness of the steering wheel . Max being softest
What is the override button for?
When your in reverse and you want to use all your power to really get yourself unstuck you hit the override switch
Is there a clutch?
All I saw was a brake pedal!
I’m sure there was a gas pedal though!
Zero explanation
You didn’t say what smart lock does in comparison to diff lock
