Great video as always but a small error at 24:05. The capture rate buff isn't to the baseline Pioneer cap speed but to the bonus cap speed they get from their Fast Capture Vet 1 Passive. The Pio in the test is Vet 0 so isn't capping any faster than they normally would before this patch.

Why doesnt Relic hire you for balance changes? Would make the game a lot better since you review all factions same. I feel like with each balance changes, for this patch an Axis fan did it and previous balance changes a Ally fan did them.
Your work is amaizing tightrope and since I stopped playing for few months your videos make me to come back and start playing it. Keep up the good work.
Relic has hired a bunch of former players as balance guys and the result is stuff like ubermensch mp40 grens and invisibility cloaks. The problem with Relic balances is they use a sledgehammer every 2 months instead of buffing one thing here, nerfing one thing here every couple weeks.

I can't remember if it was you or @AECoH that said that it wold be harder to valance Company of heroes 3, and you can kind of see it on the Assault Granadier retreat behavior of the American Riflemen, but I'm sure there are more behaviors out there. That tiger easily killing the at guns while the black prince failed and almost didnt kill a single at gun is just a hit to the face as brit. AT guns are supposed to be the fuck up for tanks and this matchup is just the perfect example for the "allies vs axis" discussion. The axis player needs one tiger, the brit player would need the black prince, something to damage the at guns from the side or at least arty and would still be in danger to lose the black prince. which is a much higher microtax.
Isn't tiger much more expensive with lower armour?
@@justsomeguysHandleChangedByYT Breakthrough callin tiger: 700 manpower, 180 fuel, heavy armored black prince callin: 690 manpower, 180 fuel. Like tightrope said in both videos the tiger has the much better profile. Its really broad from the front so even tanks and AT guns shooting from an angle will hit the front armor of the tiger. The blackprince has a really narrow front but a massiv long side so most shots will hit its much weaker side armor only guns directly in front of it will hit its big front armor.

Still have to remember it’s the last resort for the DAK before the tiger even enters the field their will already be multiple Matilda’s and grants maybe even archers now
....stop trying judging the whole gamebalance by one unit pls....this wont go well for all of us because both sides have shitty balanced units.
water construction should definitely be reverted, without it map makers have one less way to prevent construction in certain areas which can be important

Yep, shallow water now is only eye candy, because the negative cover was already removed from in a previous patch too.

I’ll never know why Relic nerfed the cap rate on the Ketten, then buff pioneers and Grenadiers cap rate when the factions is supposed to be about specialist units.

What DAK build / strat are you currently roughly using? I'm returning after not playing for ~6 months and feel like I've missed a lot!
Too often, I've had units in a building firing at an enemy mg that was hosing down the front of my building. If I choose to ungarrison, I've had the ai egress them out the front door into the suppression. It would be great for the game if it got an improved garrison/ungarrison mechanic down the road. For example, I want to be able to select a garrisoned unit, then click somewhere outside to drop a rally point flag for my units to flock to. This would essentially let me manually choose the side ( front/back/side/ door) for my units to safely exit out of the building out of harms way. Another advantage to this is moving through houses on maps like Bengazi with lots of buildings to bypass streets that have been mined.
You can do this. I covered it in my beginner micro guide over a year ago.

Yeah I will try collect some information about them today and start working on it. I was kind of hoping to release it after the first hotfix so it isn't instantly out of date but maybe that will be delayed because of the layoffs.

Similar to COH2 now but light vehicles are generally faster in this game and have that acceleration boost from a standstill too. The main issue now is the high input delay slowing things down.

Despite what reddit might think, ive found the new allies changes to be pretty nice. If anything id say grenadiers might be a bit too strong early game for allies, and the flackvierling halftravk needs a supression nerf. They didnt mention changes for the flak specifically, but the changes to suppression make me feel this unit is just way too strong. 2 bazooka squads with upgrade can manage, but its range is really far compared to anything the allies have access to.
Reddit has every reason to be angry: the British getting a 60% win rate resulted in an immediate nerf, but both German factions hitting the same has resulted in not so much as even a "we hear your concerns." Now, the question is no longer if there's bias, but if it's a bias towards tournament players, or Axis players, and nobody in the community is going to benefit from such an argument. Even balance aside, it's a hideous failure in optics at a time when Relic literally can't afford to be making such a mistake.
@@bubbasbigblast8563 idk man, my mates and i smashed the 3v3 and 4v4 last night. We played as usf advanced inf and aussie defence. I think it really is a case of letting the meta settle for the most part.
Reddit is just an echo chamber where people can pontificate their meaningless beliefs. The people who are winning arent raging about it on the forums my friend.
@@asdfman7007a fair comment, but you also have to consider why people aren't winning. You can't write it all off as skill issue. I play very casually, so if I'm playing a few games and only losing (my win rate is 6 L, 1 W with allies this patch playing 3v3 and 4v4) I'm either going to switch to axis or stop playing. Either way it's bad for player numbers
@@LordOfSevenLemons im not saying its a skill issue. Im just saying that you should be prepared to play a different style after such a huge patch.
My guess as to why brits are the lowest win rate atm, is because many people are trying the new battle group. DAK were always op imo, even before this patch. The clowncar flamethrowers are strong.

Did they give the Stug a cost increase for making it better? I mean, they nerfed the Hellcat twice because "a cheaper vehicle shouldn't beat a more expensive one".
You forgot to show us what happens if a cannon shoots in water.. Does it become a water cannon? :D
Wehrmacht now buffed to a good position, rate of fire of tanks are good but They should go just for armor and little bit scatter not rate of fire for their roles.
Early nerf- late buff for DAK.
Only Problem is that dingo killing Halftrack just one pursue, ıt ıs way too silly...

I think the buffs/nerfs have been a little overdone for thos patxh, axis are notably strong. Cloaking is also obnoxious

The balance right now in team games is disgusting. Ive been a hopeful, try harder grinder, now I'm just done. I wouldn't hire these guys to blow up balloons for a child's birthday.
CoH2 looks like old.
Every single game I play with Grenadiers is a loss, they are the worste inf in the game by far out of all the other factions. The moment i swapped to Falschim Pioneers I was able to hold out longer and actually win engagements. Grenadiers = less than Conscripts shit on the floor. They are trash, they may aswell go in with no ammo cuz they do absolutely nothing.
Well they seem to never drop models, I hit them down to 1/4 health and all units still alive
After few games new dak battlegroup for me is broken. Coh3 is now unplayable for Allies
Meh, I think the allies players just need to learn the new meta. There are a lot of counters to the new BG, people just don’t know how to play against it yet.

@@misterchoc2893 adapt and stop crying like a child. Alies were OP for months balance is finally good now. Allies need to adapt instead of using 2 cheese strats. Most fun i ever had with 1.6 love it
