Another visually spectacular video Drew. Glad to see the technologically inferior natives triumph in this asymmetrical combat which is so often, embarrassingly, the opposite. Was really impressed by how much realism was added to the terrain by the simple addition of a few bits of gravel or moss bits scattered about here & there among the teddy bear grass. Thanks for all the work it takes to make one of these. I hope Dave wasn't put off by his dice luck being so rubbish.
Great scenario and report and truly appreciate the cinematic stills throughout. They really lend to the feel of the engagement and such a great opportunity to see the great painting and terrain. Thanks so much!
Great scenario and a great report. Have you considered a 10 minute version for the Little Wars TV Quick Strike challenge? My memory of the film has Michael Caine suggesting that he took the company out to skirmish with the Zulus, presumably this would have ended up being even worse than your result. Thanks for the video.
Thanks Garry. So pleased you enjoyed. My Rorke’s Drift battle report is a short version, not considered doing a Little Wars QS challenge, what is the format?
Awesome battle mat. I work on my very own. I have cut the fur to the right length and I am going to paint it on the next sunny day. I have a question though. The lichen pieces and stones are they glued on the mat or they are just scattered? I would bet they are scattered but I am not sure so I ask. Anyway, it looks awesome! This is how gaming battle mats should look like, not just flat.

Brilliant, really well edited, you've kept it a great length.
Thanks Stuart! Think it was just under three hours in real time

Amabutho - ama boo to (as in tomato). Great video. Sorry to pick on pronunciation. Understandable really.
Haha thanks man. Will use that from now on 👍🏼 glad you enjoyed the video
Impressive looking game mate! Your mate needs some more dice! 🤣
Haha thanks Dom. Shhh don’t tell him he needs more dice! To be honest the British were very close to hanging on to turn 6

Thanks for your kind words! This is the Killing Fields mat and you are correct, the lichen and stones are just scattered loose, not glued down
Spectacular and superb, love both armies! 👍
Thanks again Phil, very kind of you sir
It would be great if you could do a video on how to play this game
Your table is so detailed for playing on. Where did you get it?
Thank you! It’s from a US company called Killing Fields
Thank you. Do you have any plans for more videos like this. They are really enjoyable to watch?
@@SullyViews yes I have more planned. Haven’t done any over summer as it seems a shame to sit inside too much
Sounds good. Can’t wait 😊 all your videos are so good
