Nothing in the pipe of course, just habit I suppose. I remember another guy I knew was the same, could not concentrate without it. 😀
I have Virginia Provincials on my painting table, to be followed by Grenadiers and then French Marines. I have two dozen Indians already painted up.
That will be fun when you finish them. :)
How many clock cards do you use? I got three with the deck I bought. You mentioned a 4th clock card. Thanks for posting this, I really like this game and have just started to play.
I use the normal three, but after the 4th red one comes out, so going through the pack four times, we end the game.

Yes, we are very lucky, they are a great bunch and we all enjoy the hobby and the banter that goes on in the games.

They do add a great deal of excitement to the game, they can be very effective but also unpredictable.
