We are glad you found it too! Also glad you enjoyed the battle report, they are enjoyable to play and edit, so hopefully that comes across! Thanks again for the support and the comments, it’s really appreciated 👍🏻
Brilliant game of Black Powder! I still can't get over how good these armies look. Nothing quite beats massed line infantry on the tabletop. Thank you for great content and really appreciate the Patreon early access video, lovely surprise ☺️ Have a great bank holiday chaps.
Thank you, these are George’s figures and board, they look great and make for a very thematic battle report! Glad you liked the Patreon early access, will look to do that again in the future 👍🏻 Thanks again for your ongoing support it really helps with running the channel. Cheers 👍🏻
@@theministryofminiatures Well, George's dedication to these large armies is amazing. The amount he's painted to that standard would break lesser men mentally and physically lol. Well done George! Brilliant and no problem at all, pleasure!
Burgoyne's soldiers collected a menagerie of pets on their advance. Do you know what happened to those animals, included bears, birds, dogs, after the Convention which was duplicitously turned into a mass surrender by the ever dishonourable Yanks?@theministryofminiatures
Thank you, we have another Black Powder game in a couple of weeks, we might return to ACW for a game or two, but like both eras… …Georges figures do look very nice so I understand the temptation, I ended up buying the Warlord Games Epic Gettysburg set on the back of our first game 😂
Love the set up, without sound too much like a "homer" appreciate the outcome. Have always enjoyed the AWI era though haven't played may senariros. Although I think the United States separation from Great Britian began during the "French & Indian" war era.
Thanks we enjoyed the game, the reinforcements were not known to me… although I knew I was due some at some point. A well deserved win for George and the Continental army… the position he got his force into and the dice rolls secured the fate of the British army. Glad you enjoyed it, we did and are glad we are able to share our battle reports with others. Thanks for the comment, it’s much appreciated 👍🏻
There are a mix of manufacturers, but mainly Peter Pig, but I will ask George the other manufacturer. The figures have nice detail for 15mm and George has done a good job painting them. Thanks 👍🏻
We use the supplement book, it is a great book with loads of information on the war, armies and battles etc. I would need to check the rule book, but I believe there is some basic AWI stuff in there.
Happy to have found this channel. Beatifull armies and enjoyable report!

@TheGreyWolf94 indeed he has numerous large scale armies, so great that we can get them on the table.
Cheers and Happy Easter!

Keep up the good work

A great looking game on a gorgeous table...Thumbs up!
Thank you, George puts on a good show when we play, always looks good and a lot of fun.
Thanks for the comment 👍🏻
Excellent report. Love the superbly painted figs.
Thank you, they are George’s figures and table, they are really well painted and a joy to play.
Thanks for the comment 👍🏻
Great battle report guys. What ranges of miniatures are you using for AWI
Thanks, it’s great to hear positive feedback.
The figures are mainly from Peter Pig, 15mm.
Thanks
Fab stuff! Thanks for sharing 😊

What miniatures did you guys use for this battle? I went through Warlords site and did not see 15 mm AWI.
There are a mix of manufacturers, but mainly Peter Pig, but I will ask George the other manufacturer.

Thanks 👍🏻
My AWI figures are virtually all Peter Pig. I really like this range.
@georgebell2736 thanks- I really like the range too!
@@theministryofminiatures thank! I have done a lot of 28mm gaming, just now starting to look into 15mm.
@chriskerr32 good luck with your new endeavours… I hope you have good eyesight! 😂
Can I play AWI with the 2nd edition book ? or do I need extra books as well as the rules ?
We use the supplement book, it is a great book with loads of information on the war, armies and battles etc.
I would need to check the rule book, but I believe there is some basic AWI stuff in there.
@@theministryofminiatures Many thanks also greats figures and lovely set up
You can play without any extra books. However the Rebellion! book is very good for added flavour, troop stats, history and scenarios.
@georgebell2736 thanks George 👍🏻
@glenbrooks2269 thank you, I am lucky enough to have George with a great collection of figures and scenery for Black Powder 👍🏻
