I am not promoting the use of websites like Temu or Alibaba but I do find it very funny that no one has taken issue with Amazon being used to order stuff from. The company that hasnt paid taxes since 2012, treats its workers like rubbish and has tonnes of low price items on its website. Maybe because its American and not a Chinese website ? Just a thought ......
I'm not sure where you've been on the internet/irl, but I see/hear criticisms of Amazon every day. So it's certainly not "no one", and it has nothing to do with who owns it.
Yep, I see identical products listed on Amazon and Temu all the time. It's the exact same suppliers or drop shippers behind it, though they often charge more on Amazon because people mistakenly believe it's coming locally. I also find it paradoxical why people who are deeply critical of Temu or Amazon are on my channel because all of my videos focus on reviews and tutorials for unusual craft supplies. Anyone wanting to replicate the DIYs will inevitable end up having to use the global supply chain at some point. The sinophobia is definitely also real because many people believe things about Chinese platforms they cannot prove but solely because they "heard it" from somewhere. I've really tried to research this but as mentioned before, I couldn't find any concrete evidence. It also makes no sense why a shopping website will want to steal money from customers because they make far more money with repeat orders. So it's in their best interest to offer a good service so people keep coming back!
@Izzy-cp8yt maybe we could use some critical thinking and realise I wasn't talking about the entire Internet and only the video I commented on ? No one has said anything on the comments about amazon only temu and alibaba
@maqaroon people want to be angry, but this rhetoric of temu and alibaba being the worst websites to use. When in reality all these corporations are the same. It's like how tiktok and Facebook are both being scrutinised for releasing data but only tiktok has actually been banned ? All because its an Asian country not American.
@@laurenashwell3878 maybe we could be less patronizing and read what you actually worte: "no one", not "no one here" or "none of the comments". About 4:36: In this case there's presumably no fumes, no smell and no dangerous gases, but these things are not necessarily connected. In general when working with chemicals, just because you can't smell anything, it doesn't mean there's no odourless gas being created which could still be dangerous, and I think a lot of people might conflate "no fumes" with "no gas". So the way it's said in the video it sets the implication that "no smell = no fumes = no gas = no danger", and that's not good.
I can't tell you how excited and happy I get whenever you upload. Your videos are so therapeutic. I love how you explain everything with so much clarity and detail. A reason squishies/ soft malleable items feel softer when warm is because of the particles - the hotter they are means they get more thermal energy, which makes the fixed particles of the solid vibrate on the spot more erratically - this makes more 'space' between the atoms of the solid so it feels softer! ALSSSSSSSO If you would be interested in trying this, I had this idea for a video; you should make a Pt 3 of you taba series experimenting with flocking! Hi, I have a question. I’ve recently purchased these mini gummy bear molds for tabs squishies, but when I take it out, it’s either deformed or squishy. Sometimes the dye leaks down to my mold and I can’t get it offl
Hi! It sounds like you may be using the wrong type of pigment for squishies and that can also be affecting the curing process. I find the oil based ones I showed in this video work best and they will definitely not stain the mould. Try making a batch without any colouring to see if the silicone cures better. If not, then you can adjust the mixing ratio to make it more solid. If it works well without any colour then it means whatever was being added to the squishy gel as causing the problem!
@@TotallyM1chelle im not sure, but i found mentions of this: "pot life. Silicone has a time where it stays liquid and easily workable after you have mixed the two components together. That is the pot life." so its probably in 2 parts because it would harden/cure if it was mixed

recently i found some clear crystal squishies on amazon, I wonder if they can be melted like other mochis?
Squishy microwave of 2 years here: yes they can!! You can even add glitter when they are melted to a syrup consistency and they look SO cool!
Ahhhh! A maqaroon video!! I remember seeing a super cute fish tabba squishy 🐟in a Chinese market site JUST before tabba squishys went viral in western media!
Also I loved your pig sock plush video! I want to make it! Even though it’s not lockdown anymore, Pls make more of these DIY videos!❤❤
Aww thank you! I definitely plan to do more plushies whenever a character comes up that would work well for it! I also got a fish taba DIY kit which I can't wait to make 😁
Hi Maqaroon, I was wondering what the fuzzy thing that they put onto the squishy is. Is it instant snow? Thank you
I’m prolly too late, but it’s called flocking powder !!
Can you do a video testing the AliExpress, temu, and amazon taba squishy glues?
I'll never make this. But it's still super fun to watch.
oooo00OOO 😍😍its so cuteeee xxxx
Hi i love your vidos and gave me advice btw the company that you bought the silicone from how do you spell that in english
@@maqaroon I also have another question, why must the A and B glue need to be Mixed together? Can’t they come in one bottle?
@@TotallyM1chelle im not sure, but i found mentions of this: "pot life. Silicone has a time where it stays liquid and easily workable after you have mixed the two components together. That is the pot life."
so its probably in 2 parts because it would harden/cure if it was mixed
@@TotallyM1chelle Mixing them starts the chemical reaction which causes it to solidify so unfortunately it can’t be sold in the same bottle.
thank you!
Can you use paint to color the squishies e.g. acrylic , gouache , watercolor ?
Oh my god I finally found a youtuber who doesn't scream into the mic. Also what nationality are you? Its fine if you don't want to answer. Your videos are the best.
Thank you!! I'm Chinese though I grew up in Austria and live here too
What happens if you put it too long
It will dry
