When Johnny Cash performed at San Quentin Prison in 1959, Merle Haggard was doing his prison time and set a goal to do what Johnny was doing, once he got out. It was considered to be the turning point in Haggard's life. RIP My favorite MH song is "Are The Good Times Really Over" and the lyric "Are we rolling downhill like a snowball headed for hell". RR, so glad you're back, and I hope you don't get long COVID.

I'M Subscribing to you for the pure fact that you gave Merle Hager to you are intelligent enough to find Marlyn haggard period you kids have no idea the hardships that we all went through in her younger years, not just bad decisions, but we were in a bad position, I mean, you. Didn't you didn't have welfare back then, helping me out? Yeah, weren't supposed to be divorced if you're a divorced woman. Then it was awful. Of course, you could not have child without wedlock. So you kids really got it. Today. There was no balancing acoustics and all of that the voices the voice. You might want to check out some of the history on the highwayman. On how they came about Johnny Cash and spirit. Both Miller eggard and Chris Christopher son, who was in the Vietnam war. Flu helicopters rented one for the day and landed on Johnny Cash and blonde with his song Sunday morning coming down..
If I had a chance, I'd ask Chris for an autographm and Willie, they're all songwriters, however, Willie nelson, and I think deli pardon hold the highest. Number in songs ever written. All three of these songs are ridiculously good, but those second two don’t get nearly enough props. The radio versions are great, but the live versions with him going ham on the Tele are classic.
