Chuck roast is my favorite! At $4.99/pound, I buy a huge one at Costco for about $40. I cook it in the Instant Pot, then chill it over night. After cold, I slice it up into chunks. I will eat it for the next two weeks with eggs. I can get 10+ meals out of it, so only $4/meal!

Chuck roast is my favorite too but I cut it into bite sized chunks and air fry it. It satisfies the state cravings for me but so much cheaper; I serve it with fried eggs and dip the bites in the runny yolk. My local farm to table co-op always has chuck roast available $5.99 a pound so it's basically my entire meal plan because I love it so much.

Out of a 20lb chuck roll, you can get about 6 chuck eyes, 3-4 Denver steaks, 5 -7 lbs ground chuck and 2-4 roasts depending on how thick you cut em. Save the labor cut it yourself. I've heard a lot lately about this carnivore diet thing so I thought I would give it a try. I thought it would be expensive but it really has been less then I thought. I spend about half the $$$ I would have spent including veggies. I eat till I am full then stop. I eat once or twice a day with no snacking. I drink water and coffee - black. I am 57 5'8" and started at 230lbs. Now two weeks in I am down to about 210lbs. I was not even trying to loss weight. It was more about just getting to a point of feeling better. Now I figure I will set a goal of 180lbs.
I think the biggest change was cutting out carbs altogether. I have not observed any issues and do not really miss the carbs other than the fact that I still like them. I do not feel I have to have them though. I also do not do dairy, process sugar or any wheat products. I do not eat any processes of packaged man made "food products".

Where I live, brisket can be purchased for $3.99/lb at Sam's and Costco.
I cut it into chunks of about 2 pounds each. I learned this method from Pioneer Woman, so look for it in her site. I salt it well and bake it at 250* in a covered heavy pot, fat side up for about 4 hours, until tender. Remove the lid and bake at 350* until the fat is golden. You can slice it and eat it right away OR chill it and slice it as thin as you like, salt and fry it in a pan or air fryer.... Beef bacon baby!! Delicious hot or cold for on the go.
PS Strain and reserve the liquid fat, gorgeous tallow.

If cooked slow,(crockpot or oven), it makes an incredible roast, that simply falls apart. Leftovers can become beef and noodles, stringy BBQ beef or beef vegetable soup. It is a versatile cut of beef.

Costco sells a forty lb. Box of chicken thighs for $30.99! They are small and fairy mangled, but that's really cheap. Salt the skin and cook on the grill over low heat skin side down for fifteen minutes, flip and cook for another fifteen minutes until the skin is crispy.

Hi Bella, I'm finally beginning my carnivore journey and your channel is amazing, very helpful.
I feel blessed I've found you.
My body needs to detox from fruit and vegetables.
I've never been a vegan, but I would mostly consume tons of fruit, enormous salads and then I'd have some meat and eggs,
mostly olive oil and never butter.
I would rarely cheat on flour baked goods and chocolate.
But the fruit and vegetables might be the reason I never feel satiated full and I keep craving sweet foods.
I absolutely need to get rid of my cravings for carbs and stop obsession on fruit.
It's going to be very hard in the beginning and hopefully I'll be able to cope with the fruit withdrawals during the first 2-4 weeks, hopefully not more than a month 🍀
    Starting is the tough part.

However... my waist measurements have gone down, I look so good in a thong, and improvement in the gym is noticeable. I really want that scale to move, but I try so hard every day to fight against old programming and not stress. I added in raw milk (just one glass on the rocks with my first meal), much more butter to my eggs, and a piece of raw cheese with my beef. It was hard to make myself eat last week because I didn't have an appetite, WHICH IS CRAZY. My boobs have been a little sore, and it was difficult to run yesterday because of all the bounce. I pray that all the good fats get distrubuted to my boobs and booty. The bad ones get burned for energy and dont come back. especially since I stopped coffee. Amen, and good luck to anyone reading this 🍀
