I’ve never tried that pork shank you featured and will now 😍😍
Thanks so much for this video! This is great.
19 minute video on something that would take 5 minutes max. This is the epitome of tedious.
All excellent options.
Note: I get choice ribeye at Costco for $11/lb
@@user-ch3co1rv3eur opinion
Chuck roast is my favorite! At $4.99/pound, I buy a huge one at Costco for about $40. I cook it in the Instant Pot, then chill it over night. After cold, I slice it up into chunks. I will eat it for the next two weeks with eggs. I can get 10+ meals out of it, so only $4/meal!
Chuck roast is my favorite too but I cut it into bite sized chunks and air fry it. It satisfies the state cravings for me but so much cheaper; I serve it with fried eggs and dip the bites in the runny yolk. My local farm to table co-op always has chuck roast available $5.99 a pound so it's basically my entire meal plan because I love it so much.
I like to shred it after pressure cooking and fry until crispy like hash before adding a few eggs on top.
I salt mine and put it in the slow cooker. OMG, the meat becomes so tender and juicy and the fat like butter. I'm so hooked on it, lol! 😋
Chuck roast is $7.49 here.
I buy the 7 bone chuck steaks or roasts. These contain the chuck eye. They are $5.99/lb here but they go on sale for 3.99/lb. and I stock up like crazy.
Hi my name is MaryAnne and I’m a retired meat wrapper from Schnucks Markets for 25 years. I wanted to thank you for making an informative video about meat. I enjoyed it.
Steaks are cheaper than hospitals and physical downtime.
Meats ranked:
1) Ground beef
2) Flanken Short ribs
3) Chuck eye steak
4) Skin-on pork shank
5) Beef fat trimmings or suet
6) Top round steak
7) Chicken wings
Thank you 😊
Buy a lean cheap steak on sale and ask the butcher to make 30 pounds of hamburger. Then make packages and freeze some. Best hamburger at the best prices. Chewy steak made tender.
@derenard I feel like the country style pork rib cut doesn't get enough credit. It's an especially fatty cut, but if cooked well, it's extremely flavorful and it's not too hard to cut around the excess fat.
Thanks a trillion homie
Ah, yes. The same exact list she has posted in the video.
She's the first carnivore I've ever heard that does not try to tell people to get the grass fed beef! I can't stand the flavor of it and it is way too lean and tough. I totally love the grain finished cow.
Dr Ken Berry too
@@SGauxI've seen him recommend hotdogs and sausages
@@delbomb3131he recommends those over the standard American diet, and he's very right. Eating the lowest quality carnivore/ketovore is going to be better than any carb filled diet for your health.
@@Dagnar1478 for sure i was just adding context to the extremes that some people on the tubes make sure to tell you that grass fed isn't gospel
They recommend that because they believe its healthier for you and healthier for the cow
When chuck roast goes on sale at your butcher or grocery store, ask to buy the entire chuck roll. Out of a 20lb chuck roll, you can get about 6 chuck eyes, 3-4 Denver steaks, 5 -7 lbs ground chuck and 2-4 roasts depending on how thick you cut em. Save the labor cut it yourself. Lots of videos on how to process a chuck roll
This is the way
Been buying whole chuck rolls since Oct ‘23 and cutting myself. Wish I would’ve learned about this years ago.
@@skelatons63 it actually makes pretty good bbq as well. Just make sure you keep the rendered fat to pour back over the top. Some parts of the chuck can dry out when smoking so pouring the fat over it will give it more flavor and some moisture
@@charlesjackson1588 just got a new one last Wednesday pulled 2 roasts. Will try that today as I have some wings to grill today! Thanks.
The video I added is the best way to get the most steaks and overall best way to break down a whole chuck roll. $120 for 17 steaks and 3 decent size roasts!
I've heard a lot lately about this carnivore diet thing so I thought I would give it a try. I thought it would be expensive but it really has been less then I thought. I spend about half the $$$ I would have spent including veggies. I eat till I am full then stop. I eat once or twice a day with no snacking. I drink water and coffee - black. I am 57 5'8" and started at 230lbs. Now two weeks in I am down to about 210lbs. I was not even trying to loss weight. It was more about just getting to a point of feeling better. Now I figure I will set a goal of 180lbs.
I think the biggest change was cutting out carbs altogether. I have not observed any issues and do not really miss the carbs other than the fact that I still like them. I do not feel I have to have them though. I also do not do dairy, process sugar or any wheat products. I do not eat any processes of packaged man made "food products".
I’m getting a little discouraged. I’ve been on it about 2 weeks and I don’t feel any diff and don’t feel better and all my pains are still w me. I keep the carbs under 20 I think. I don’t get it.
You will. You are on the verge of a breakthrough. Good job!
@@bugzziee
Eat more fat.
It depends how much healing your body needs. It's different for everyone. Stay the course.
When you make the total it's actually cheaper. ..
Medication, Supplements, fruits, vegies, processed food etc.
Similar for me... now food shoping is fast: meat , eggs, sometimes dairies and bit of spices. ..and it actually cost less...
Plus you don't go out to eat hardly at all, you don't waste money at convenience stores, you don't buy all the goos and potions to take care of your skin anymore...
It IS WAY cheaper to eat only meat & eggs, butter, salt & water. Now, if I could only convince my husband to abandon his bread & sugar.
Where I live, brisket can be purchased for $3.99/lb at Sam's and Costco.
I cut it into chunks of about 2 pounds each. I learned this method from Pioneer Woman, so look for it in her site. I salt it well and bake it at 250* in a covered heavy pot, fat side up for about 4 hours, until tender. Remove the lid and bake at 350* until the fat is golden. You can slice it and eat it right away OR chill it and slice it as thin as you like, salt and fry it in a pan or air fryer.... Beef bacon baby!! Delicious hot or cold for on the go.
PS Strain and reserve the liquid fat, gorgeous tallow.
Heat is in C or F?

Couldn't help but screen shot this comment! Definitely worth trying
Not in Canada - more like $8-10 per pound 😮
Yes, brisket has really dropped in price and I have bought a few over the years,, when they were low priced. If cooked slow,(crockpot or oven), it makes an incredible roast, that simply falls apart. Leftovers can become beef and noodles, stringy BBQ beef or beef vegetable soup. It is a versatile cut of beef.
Makes shopping very quick, too. No need to wander through the aisles.
I know right, it’s freeing knowing you don’t need (or want) all that crap. I am actually saving money : )
I love short ribs. My wife, who is from mainland China, steams them based on a Chinese recipe. Her only seasoning is salt and pepper. I prefer her steamed method over other cooking methods. That said I would be more than happy to eat short ribs no matter how they are cooked.
Aside from her being your wife, why do you prefer her steamed method?
And is it fairly easy to find her way on line/UA-cam?
And do you think her way could be done in any Instant Pot?
I'm new to this and In my living situation, I need to find the cleanest & quickest ways of cooking...
Thank you so much in advance! 🥩🍖🥓🍗🍳
@@tonivergara5725 I like the texture of steamed meat and I prefer meat that is not burned / blackened which may occur with other cooking methods. My wife does not make any UA-cam videos. Yes, we have "Instant Pot" using lamb and ribs but the key, in my view, is a good broth. I think the Steak and Butter Gal has other videos that can help you with cooking and related recipes. Best wishes on your quest for cleanest and quickest ways of cooking. I'm sure that you will discover what is good for you.
I live in Scotland and the price of beef is very expensive I’m amazed how cheap beef is in the USA your all very lucky
Yep the price of beef is insane everywhere in the UK
The climate agenda is killing your prices. It’s coming to USA also, that’s why a lot of us are buying and freezing. We will be screwed when they turn the power off. But, we will have a heck of a BBQ.
We have guns so the government is careful
I live in Scotland the best beef in the world ---- personalty I purchase my beef from lidl -- £3.49 5% fat mince 500g 1.1 lb All beef should be grass fed
True!
Tri-Tip! I get it on sale at Safeway in Hawaii every month for $5 lb. Cooked whole on the grill ( indirect heat) for sixty minutes for rare or slice across the grain for steaks that grill quickly. Ask them for " untrimmed " if the ones they've put out look too lean.
Costco sells a forty lb. Box of chicken thighs for $30.99! They are small and fairy mangled, but that's really cheap. Salt the skin and cook on the grill over low heat skin side down for fifteen minutes, flip and cook for another fifteen minutes until the skin is crispy.
I used to buy chicken thighs at Costco but noticed that every single thigh had a broken bone. Every single one. Made me wonder where they get the chicken and how was that chicken treated while it was alive. I just can't anymore.😢
I also get the pork belly strips, cut them in 1" chunks and throw them in the air fryer on 450 for 12-15 minutes and they come out crispy., magical flavor nuggets.
Try baking your chicken, uncovered skin up at 400 degrees for 45 mins. Just a little butter and salt, comes out perfect everytime.
I pick out a good marbling chuck roast from Costco, season it and Sous Vide for 48 hours @ 131 deg, sear both sides about 4m each then the edges, cut against the grain, you have some incredible tasting meat
Pork butt. On sale often for less than $2.00 a lb. Can be used for a variety cuts for frying, roasting or braising.
I have a local farmer who produces chicken wings in abondance. He sells his chicken as cut products to a local restaurant. He gets stuck with the wings. So I buy it super low priced in frozen packs of 1kg. 25kg at a time. I eat 1-2 packs a week. That's the only chicken that I eat.
Lucky.
Great list. I recently bought chuck roast for $2.99 @ lb! I bought 20 lbs. I cut my own chuck eye out of the roasts!
IF you’re lucky, you can find it for $12.99/lb on sale around where I live… Crappy Ground Beef is $10-$11/lb in my part of Canada 🇨🇦😢 WOW to the USA prices on Beef!😮
Smoked brisket and smoke pork shoulder are both super cheap, and good
Mmmmmmmm
We bought and processed a whole Chuck roll. I love the Chuck eyes we got from it. I live in Alaska and our prices are always higher. We picked up the Chuck roll for $6.99 lbs.
My latest infatuation is ground beef patties, fried and chilled. I pull one out, spread some butter on it and eat it cold. Quick and tasty.
Sounds great!😊
I just love everything about you Bella! You give such good information, your demonstrate your recipes, your optimism about a carnivore lifestyle is contagious! You and steak and butter guys are darling! AND. your piano snippets just sing to my soul! ( I did major in piano performance but didn’t end up finishing) I admire you. I’m the only one in my family doing carnivore so it gets a bit lonely. Whenever I need a pick me up, I just listen to one of your videos. Thanks for all your hard work and energy!! ☺️
My costs went down going keto (once I stopped buying processed food) and it's even lower on carnivore. I don't eat as much or as often as I did while eating the SAD. I invested in a used deep freezer ($180) and I buy meat on sale and vacuum seal it. I've become addicted to buying meat on sale. I but whether I need it or not. The freezer and the vacuum sealer makes it easy.
I really love short ribs
You’ve made a wise investment in getting a deep freezer & vacuum sealer! As far as having too much meat there’s no such thing. It’s better to have and not need than need and not have. Prepping 101 😉
I made a whole brisket which cost less than ground beef, I have lots of brisket cut in chunks in my freezer.
There is something so primal and satisfying about eating meat with your hands like an animal My husband and I go absolutely feral for flanken short ribs and chicken wings 🤣🤣
meat makes me feel more feral very odd lol I guess we are what we eat.
They say food tastes better when you eat with your hands
I’ve added beef suet to my WOE. It has been an absolute game changer! And it’s extremely affordable just like you said. Never would’ve known without this video 🙏🙏🙏
Thumbs up for annunciation ... you are a well spoken person.
Last night I made your carnivore pizza and it was the perfect treat I needed. Thank you for your helpful videos and delicious recipes! ❤
Wonderful! So glad you loved the meatza ☺️
Oh yes this pizza is so good!!
Chuck eye steak, Stew Meat, Chuck Roast, Top round steak, Flankened short ribs/ English cut short ribs, Ground beef(snake river farms), skin-on pork shank, Chicken wings, Beef fats. Thanks SABG.
I bought a 21 pound chuck roll the other day, it’s in the oven right now for Friday dinner. First time doing this... wish me luck. Prior to this I'd cook 4 or 5 chuck roast laid edge to edge in my big broiler pan. Carnivore meal prep, I love leftovers.
For chicken I fill my deep fryer with tallow or lard, buy the big 5 pound bag of fresh drumsticks for about $6.50
Tallow frying any meat makes everything amazing
Hi Bella, I'm finally beginning my carnivore journey and your channel is amazing, very helpful.
I feel blessed I've found you.
My body needs to detox from fruit and vegetables.
I've never been a vegan, but I would mostly consume tons of fruit, enormous salads and then I'd have some meat and eggs,
mostly olive oil and never butter.
I would rarely cheat on flour baked goods and chocolate.
But the fruit and vegetables might be the reason I never feel satiated full and I keep craving sweet foods.
I absolutely need to get rid of my cravings for carbs and stop obsession on fruit.
It's going to be very hard in the beginning and hopefully I'll be able to cope with the fruit withdrawals during the first 2-4 weeks, hopefully not more than a month 🍀
Starting is the tough part.
Thank you for your dedication to your followers and warm greetings from Melissa from Italy 🍀💖☀️
You are rich and you live in a good country. Being in Iran, it is very difficult for me to be a carnivore
Yes, God Bless and keep 🇺🇸 America 🙏
Chicken wings baked in duck fat until brown and crispy yum
one of the cheapest and most underrated cuts is the cheek meat, it can be nice and tender if slow cooked for 2 hrs and its loaded with ligaments and collagen rich grisle and fat. Its so good, and much easier to cook than chuck.
I have been wondering about cheek meat. I can get it for $3/lb, but have never had it.
@@mariannekiss2991 it’s great, and can be a pretty tender. I love to slow cook for 2-3hrs in shallow water and season with Red Boat fish sauce. It’s not chewy or dry once cooked but soft and slightly chewy but still very tender and the meat is quite fatty since the cheeks tend to have a lot of neck fat.
So one must go to a butcher for this, I assume?
@@hanginlaundry360 I found them at walmart, its plenty abundant. I live in Texas so I don't know about your area but I've never had to go to a butcher for cheek cuts
I love me some barbacoa!
I often cook bottom round in my cast iron dutch oven. Sear on all sides, put some beef broth or bone both in, and cover and cook in oven at 300 F for 4 to 4 1/2 hours. Delicious and budget friendly. ❤
I haven't watched your videos for a while. This video shows tremendous improvement! Very well done and highly informative. Please keep them coming!!
Thank you!!
I love your videos. As a new carnivore, who was a sick, exhausted vegetarian for decades, I have no idea how to make meat tender enough to chew, let alone swallow. I love learning from watching your videos.
I love using a slow cooker. Meat comes out tender and delicious. Just salt your meat, put it in, and set on low for 8 or more hours, depending on the cut. So easy and yummy!
Try frying ground beef until crispy small crumb. Easy to eat especially with a cream sauce.
Low and slow
lol same for me. My husband cooks his own becuz my hamburger is so tough.
I love these! I also love getting a brisket point which is about the same price as ground beef. I throw it in the oven or insant pot and it's SO delicious!!! It freezes and warms up great too!
I slow cook chuck roast at 250 degrees F for about 2 hours. Watch like a hawk with an inserted thermometer. Cook to 140 degrees internal temperature. Excellent hot or cold.
Costco organic gf ground beef is the real MVP here
Yeah, no Costco where I am... Sam's is pretty good with a 3 pack 85/15
Thanks for the tips. Your butcher shops in Seattle are way cheaper than here in Tacoma. You have really helped my on my Carnivore Journey. Still have a hard time with giving up my 1 tbl spoon of raw honey and 2 tbl of 1/2&1/2 with my morning coffee. I have cut my coffee down to 1 cup tho. 👍
Glad to help! Keep me posted ❤️
I so understand this, I was a cream and sugar gal and that was my last bit of sugar to go.
It might sound weird, but I got off of sugar/sweet in my coffee by adding my daily salt dose! Salt in coffee is an old world tip to make coffee less bitter, but I find it makes the cream taste sweeter.
B & E meats are in Des Moines if you get up that way and they have good meat if you want to look into it.
@@roxannebudd1978thanks for the tip
Add these 2 cuts
Picanaha is 6.49 per lbs
Flap steak is 7.49 per lbs
Best to learn when your local stores do the meat markdowns. I have saved a lot. Now cooking the suet in small chunks in the airfryer - yum! Awesome. And then the liquid fat left over can be poured into small containers for pure tallow!
Found an $15 instant pot at a thrift store and today tried chuck eye from Costco. Seared 3 min per side in stainless pan and place it inside with a trivet and cup of lightly salted water for 20 min on normal pressure for med rare… super easy and definite keeper. Clean up is 10 minutes and saved the broth for tomorrow’s cook.
Chuck eye shouldn't need added moisture as it has plenty of fat and is tender.
I PAY 23.99 for 40 pounds of chicken leg quarters, 89.99 for 30 pounds of 80/20 premium ground beef, boneless pork loin 1.89 a pound, whole newyork strips for 5.59 a pound, bacon 30 pounds for 89.99. I also picked up a shank ham for 69 cents a pound. I don't usually eat ham but the rest is what I normally get along with beef fat trimmings for 29 cents a pound. Also eat a lot of eggs at 3 dozen for 5 dollars , right now, when my brother doesn't have extra he gives me. Only been carnivore for a short time but feel better and my HA1c is down to 5.7 and glucose was 97 on last blood tests. Not taking diabetes meds now.😄
U live in a cheap area!
Pork loin can be had for around $2 a pound. It sous vides very nicely for 3-to-8 hours at 131ºF. I cook half loins and keep them in the bag for days in the fridge, the pop them open and slice off as much as I want to warm up and eat as desired. It's really convenient. I brine it overnight before sous vide.
Beef fat is also excellent in in the crockpot, cut into cubes and put in crockpot for a few hours once there's melted rendered fat take some out and put in a glass container to save for cooking eventually the fat will become a crispy yummy little snack. I put smoked salt on them and wow how amazing!
Just wanted to say thank you for all the videos. I have been binge watching your channel, and it gives me peace. I haven't lost weight this month, in fact, I was so happy to see 170.6, but then stepped on the scale after my perird to see 175. However... my waist measurements have gone down, I look so good in a thong, and improvement in the gym is noticeable. I really want that scale to move, but I try so hard every day to fight against old programming and not stress. I added in raw milk (just one glass on the rocks with my first meal), much more butter to my eggs, and a piece of raw cheese with my beef. It was hard to make myself eat last week because I didn't have an appetite, WHICH IS CRAZY. My boobs have been a little sore, and it was difficult to run yesterday because of all the bounce. I pray that all the good fats get distrubuted to my boobs and booty. The bad ones get burned for energy and dont come back. especially since I stopped coffee. Amen, and good luck to anyone reading this 🍀
It’s coffee ok if it’s organic?
@bugzziee a lot if carnivores still drink coffee, I have cut it out right now as an experiment to see if I actually need it. The first 2 days I had a bad headache, but this past week I've felt great without it. Not tired and my anxiety has improved even more (which was one of the main reasons I decided to try carnivore)
I always gain weight when I increase butter
Another UA-cam channel took a chuck roast and sous vide it to 135’ for 24 hours. Then grilled it to grill marks; cut just like a ribeye. Cheap meats can be cooked to perfection.
Thanks for sharing your tips.
I do something similar--sous vide at 140 for 24 hours, and then slice and sear in cast iron in butter. YUM! However, all that cooking in plastic, especially since it's so much of what I eat, can't be good. I'm going to start doing crockpot and instant pot sometimes too.
I made a DIY sous vide using a 7-quart analog crockpot and a $30 thermostatic controller that came with an attached temperature probe. The controller turns the crockpot (on LOW setting) on and off according to the upper and lower temps you set. There's an article about crockpot sous vide which can be found fairly easily online with tips and hints. The result can be seared in a frypan or on the grill before serving.
@@maranscandy9350 Are you still cooking in a plastic bag in water that way?
@Indydi silicone pouches in different sizes for sous vide. They are safe at quite high temperatures, though I sous vide at between 55-75°Celsius. (I'm in Scotland)
I make a carnivore meat loaf with ground beef. I add eggs, ground pork rinds, spices. Topped with cheese.
Great list! My favorites in order are Beef ribs, chuck Eye, chuck roast, skin-on chicken thighs, ground beef. Skin on chicken thighs are crazy affordable and pretty fatty if you eat the skins as well (I do). Also a big fan of wings, but the things will get my nod every time. Bonus: throw all chicken bones into a pot, add water, cook your preferred recipe (time/heat) and make your own bone broth.
Congratulations on your engagement, Bella! 🙂💍❤️
It’s been a while since I’ve watched one of your videos and I love the new editing style!
Another fave is groung pork rinds with egg and butter mixed and cooked in a waffle maker. They're great for dipping in over easy eggs.
Let me share with you that when I was a kid chicken wings, necks, hearts, livers and the gizzards were given away for free by the butcher; they were consisted dog food. A Hershey bar was 5 cents and gasoline was 25 cents a gallon, my how times have changed.
Tri tip is also good but must be cut against the grain
I am currently obsessed with flatiron steaks, a much cheaper fatty cut than ribeye.
I love a flat iron too!
I can only find flat iron in Dillons/Kroger stores. But we love it too!
I buy ground organ meats at us wellness meats. I usually add it, 2 ground to 1 organ, to my grassfed ground beef, I was able to buy for $3.99lb locally. It really adds a richness to the flavor.
THANK YOU SO MUCH for including cooking instructions, it really helps!
Don't forget about the abundant B vitamins in pork.
And beef?
Yup, especially thiamine. It's not as high in beef.
My answer to cost. I am eating fatty carnivore for less than 10$ a day . Fatty ground beef nobody but the poor want. I put bacon on top, press it down into the burger and pop it in the air frier for 10 minutes for medium rare. 3 pounds for 12$ and I am in Canada.
I finally tried the short rib recipe today. Bought the 3 pack of ribs from
Costco for about $50. Cooked a pack in the oven for 30 minutes- salt and pepper only. They were DELICIOUS!!!! Thank you for this wonderful recipe. Looking forward to eating the next two packs!!!

Pork butt here for .99 cents lb, ground beef $1.99 lb & beef brisket 4.99 lb on sale.
1yr carnivore and new subscriber here. This is a great video! Chuck roast ($8.50/lb) is my favorite. I travel for work and cook all of my meals in a Nija Foodi Grill (air fryer.) I wrap the roast in foil to bake it. Then slice it cold and reheat with lots of fat to make it flavorful and crispy brown. I have also started buying tallow to add to cheaper, less fatty cuts to bring the fat content up to a level that’s best for me. Love the channel. Thx.
Just had a pork shank, marvellous!
Cheaper does not = better
This is EXCELLENT advice!
I recommend putting the fat in trays in the smoker so when you smoke meat u render the fat and smoke it as well is great to cook with after
7 day carnivore here. New to this. I just had cheese omelet, one burger patty, topped with 2 creamy yolk fried egg, sour cream on the side, and 2 shrimps. Yum!
Edit: 9th day. I have to lessen my cheese intake. It gives me a little gassy, but manageable.
Your dairy tolerance decreases on carnivore. Just like other foods that we really shouldn't be eating (as adults), you notice your body reactions more readily when you clean up your diet. Sure, dairy is carnivore. But treat it as a carnivore-friendly flavoring, not a food.
@@punchkitten874 Oh thanks! I drank 1 pint of milk and it gave me heart burn. I’m on day 20 day carnivore.
@@RickieBobbie0721 remember, milk has lactose, a sugar. that's what causes sour stomaxh. go for heavy whipping cream instead, there's no lactose in that
@@punchkitten874 Whipping cream? Like drink it? Never thought of that.
@@RickieBobbie0721 Use it instead of milk, but you'll phase out most dairy anyways as your intestines heal. You'll really notice gas and diarrhea directly caused by excess dairy consumption when you're not eating anything else that can cause that. I used to cheese everything, now I eat it maybe once a week. I think our bodies craved milk & cheese as a good fat source when we were eating like sht, so we kinda keep an attachment to it going carnivore. But I really don't miss it
Good morning Ms Isabella

Good morning Gorge! 🥩🥩🥩
Walmart has ground, grass fed beef for a reasonable price. Quite a few markets have ground Lamb too.
Yes, I partake of that. The lamb is good, just wish it was NOT halal. Kosher and Halal slaughter is cruel and the fear and suffering of the animal is not good for the meat, either.
This is so helpful! You’re a gem Bella! Thank you very much for this! 🙌🏼☺️♥️
Our butcher shop has fifty percent off all their frozen meats most weekends. Yum
I do chicken soup, beef marrow, beef liver and beef picanha. I will test pork ribs tomorrow, which is also a cheaper option. I'm unsure if I tolerate pork or if it will trigger inflammation.
So much B-1 in it! We've been doing one pork meal a week. Hope it goes well for you.
Liked & Subscribed. Excellent delivery & loaded with information. Impressive!!
Chuck eye is also sometimes called Del Monico steak. At least it is here in Texas. Been eating them a long time.
Good morning from Copperhill Tn.
Good morning! Have a meat-fueled day 🔥
One great source of meat: those Mexican stores. I can get beef liver for just $3 a pound at one.
Flanken cuts are great cold too! Great for snacks or food on the road or lunch box options!
We can usually get brisket here for $5.99lb and we slow cook it in the oven. Once it hits temp we cool completely then throw it in the air fryer to make crispy bits! My kids love these and my picky eater ears them with homemade ranch.
I love your recipes I just made the meatballs with the cheese sauce
Yay! So glad you loved it!
Please can you do a video on organ meats and meats that the average person probably wouldn't eat, like hearts and tongue. I'm struggling to find carnavore channels that talk about that sort of thing.
@NickolasPane, I would like to second your request for other meats as well as organ meats. I really enjoy liver and bacon. Chicken gizzards are an epicurean delight.
NICKOLAS, IM AN OLD FARM LADY THIS IS A TIP ON COOKING TONGUE AND HEART. 1) TAKE THE TOUNG AND SOAK IN REFRIGERATOR IN SALT WATER OVER NIGHT . THE NEXT MORNING RINCE AND PUT IN BOILING POT. BOIL, SIMMER UNTIL THE TASTEBUDS START COMING OFF. THEY WILL BE ATTACHED TO THE SKIN AND WILL PEAL OFF LIKEA BANANA. REMOVE FROM WATER AND LET COOL. THEN PEEL OFF TASTE BUDSSKIN. YOU WILL HAVE WHAT LOOKS LIKE A SMALL ROAST. SCLICE AND SEASON LIKE STEAK AND ENJOY . ITS WONDERFUL COLD TOO. 2) HEART WASH AND SOAK OVERNIGHT IN SALT WATER. WRINCE AND COOK IN WATER, BROTH CUT IN HALF. SIMMER UNTIL YOUR TASTE FOR DONENESS. SCLICE AND ENJOY I WOULD ADD BUTTER ON TOP AND ENJOY VERY HOT. I HOPE THIS HELPS. THE TONGUE IS WONDERFUL COLD W/ CHEESE , ONION, MUSTARD, MAYO AND LETTUCE SAND FOR HUSBANDS THAT ARENT CARNIVORE😂
Noted!
Great video, btw. Thank you!
Thanks for the recommendation 👍
No problem 👍
Luckily, ground beef is my favorite cut of beef, but everyone once in a while, you want a good steak.
I don't see Chuck eye steak too often but I do buy chuck roast whenever I can. And why is it nobody ever talks about spare ribs? I mean they are meatty and fatty and delicious. I can't eat chicken wings there's not enough meat on them they're so skinny give me a chicken thigh or a drumstick any day
Hi agree about the spare ribs. Don't forget the baby back ribs.
@kuntrygyrl2493 yep I had a rack of baby back ribs last night and they were so good I'm doing it again tonight😁🍽🍖🍖🍖
Very helpful, thank you!
