the scoring system is a bit confusing for me. when you say samsung win, but get samsung get lower score.. same thing happens too on the iphone. or when clearly iphone take a good dynamic range, while samsung blows on the highlight, you give them same score. that confuse me a lot. photography is personal preference to, IMO, overal, iphone wins from the color, dynamic range and consistency. Huawei night mode bcoz it's wide lens support it. Note wins the audio. it's look like you're scoring these test favouring the P30. but.. that's just my 2 cent.
Well i think first you should do a retest when the deep fusion come out. Second i think you should let people know what categories each phone does best such as natural color or view at night when summarize. Third if you can, let the people vote for which photo is the best, second and the worst everyday for each category. There are more to say but i would love it if you can do all the requests above first, thank you. Your videos are still great 😁
personally for me, I would love to have all 3, but as a photographer enthusiast I think a long focal length lens is better for photography than an ultrawide. An ultrawide will appeal to the masses, but a long focal length telephoto cannot be replaced by a higher resolution camera. The optics isn't the same at all.
Seeing a lot of comments about the scoring system. Every now and again, there IS a disconnect between what I'm saying and the number of points awarded, but thats because the score represents how a phone performs in an entire category, not just the last statement I made, and also involves far more clips and photos than I could show in the time. I'll try and make this clearer in the next one!

Because he takes more factors in consideration when giving the score. One perfect example is the slow-mo test. The Huawei has the better slow-mo when using the backside camera, but iPhone has the better frontside slow-mo. Still Samsung gets a higher score than the iPhone due to the more balanced overall.
considering the software its running is not even the polished up one for the market, camera wise its already doing a great job. Already expected iPhone to do better on well lit environment, they already got that part knocked out but low light Huawei still has the throne I guess.

@@firasrabaia the compression of audio on UA-cam is not really relevant, because it's so little. A lot of people use UA-cam for listening to music so it can't be compressed too much.
@@oelefant539 I'm already listening on ATH M50x and the Huawei's sound distorts A LOT towards the end and the high frequencies on the two are too saturated and maybe that's what makes them slightly more distorted. If you're listening on a smartphone you might not hear it because the frequencies are extremely limited. I haven't listened to it on a smartphone so I don't know. But you should definitely be able to hear it on any headphones whether it be normal headphones, for gaming or whatever. It's just like it's louder and already got gain on it on the Huawei.
It sets a definitive standard in mobile phones. If you have the device it truly feels like you are in the future. Unluckily I have the Note10+ and my wife got the iPhone 11 Pro max but she's selling it to get the Huawei. It doesn't have enough storage, only 10GB left after migrating data from her old phone.
Pixel will always have better quality pictures than any other smartphone. Not just because of it's hardware but it's software processing is top of the game. Pixel weakness is in video.

I thought Pixel phones are lacking in hardware, which is why they opt to be so good software wise with Google Cam. That said, Pixel phones are always buggy as hell and it's not really top notch.
Your point system absolutely makes no sense at all... You give Huawei the highest points at the zoom part while saying how bad the color accuracy is compared to the iPhone and Note10. And you also have given the iPhone the lowest amount of points while it CLEARLY won the selfie slow motion part. Just to name two... Sorry but this system is pure nonsense...

This looks a very much biased review because of the givaway, you can't really say that portrait video / photo on the front camera was better on iphone when it had 2 or 3 photos darker than the huawei / samsung one. Also you forgot to turn on the night mode for some photos on samsung? These photos arent consistent at all. The shot you took from the building with the sun behind,the cameras werent positioned in the same place and so some got more exposure from the sun which led for more darker photos and lower points on the cameras, iphone was always centered perfectly (looks kinda odd to me). Also we can clearly see that even tho Huawei had less-wider camera it perform better in most cases even in low light, but you still seem to be choose at the end the iPhone? Really? Overall for me for the previews/photos you took it looked like Huawei and Samsung had better overall camera performance. The more natural colours its not that much of a plus if it can't outperform in other aspects
It was an overall video quality score, not just a 'stable footage' score. And actually, the iPhone would have to be the best because it also has stabilized 4k 60, that the Samsung doesn't have.
Ok, dynamic range on 11 pro and note 10+ is better than the mate 30pro but they all get 90 points? Also slomo video and OIS. As for the night mode, its like you didnt use it on the note 10+.

Yeah, there were some categories where that the score weren't all that accurate. Some where the Note 10 got too many points, some where the Mate 30 Pro got to many and some where the iPhone got too many so at least that made the final score kinda accurate.
Because it considers the entire slow mo category, which is the back camera one. The iPhone falls behind there and because importance plays a factor not many points were added for it.

I agree, most times people won't care how much they can zoom in on a picture, but rather how it looks in general. S10 definitely won in that shot. And imo iphone 11 won overall in how good the pictures look

Honestly, you could just remove the scores altogether. For the average consumer all three of these phones are fantastic cameras, and pros are always gonna use pro cameras. And for those people who are going to buy their $1000 phone just on the basis of a slightly better camera in a particular category, here it goes: iPhone 11 pro has a great all round camera: perfect for the casuals who spend money on an I phone. Note 10+ has great dynamic range and overall great daylight camera: perfect for people who take a couple of snaps from time to time. Mate 30 pro has a fantastic night mode and great zoom: perfect for stalkers.

Mrwhosetheboss iPhone audio zoom is also true audio zoom to turn voice of the zoomed object up. Unlike the Samsung audio zoom just simply turn up all sounds recorded.

Yeah huawei has another mode simply named "lens" which is the *real* portrait mode with really relistic blur since it uses the tof sensor. The dof can be changed afterwards as well.

But you need to add a few condition too, like: - Video quality on all modes (unzoom and zoom cases) - Changing camera smoothness while video recording (mostly @30, @60) - Frame quality on every modes (@30, @60, @120 or @240 etc.) Some phones has really frame-drop problems (note10+ on 4K@60) - Video shakiness effect (look the zoomed Mate 30 Pro at 02:03) : When you move fast on any camera mode, some phones make this effect even normal camera mode 4k@60 (not zoomed i mean), if they record really that fast, this effect shouldn't be there (they say that their phones can records @120fps, @240fps. Need to check wave effect while shaking)

Yeah, there were some categories where that the score weren't all that accurate. Some where the Note 10 got too many points, some where the Mate 30 Pro got to many and some where the iPhone got too many so at least that made the final score kinda accurate.

Honestly, you could just remove the scores altogether. For the average consumer all three of these phones are fantastic cameras, and pros are always gonna use pro cameras. And for those people who are going to buy their $1000 phone just on the basis of a slightly better camera in a particular category, here it goes:
iPhone 11 pro has a great all round camera: perfect for the casuals who spend money on an I phone.
Note 10+ has great dynamic range and overall great daylight camera: perfect for people who take a couple of snaps from time to time.
Mate 30 pro has a fantastic night mode and great zoom: perfect for stalkers.

Yeah huawei has another mode simply named "lens" which is the *real* portrait mode with really relistic blur since it uses the tof sensor. The dof can be changed afterwards as well.

Thanks for the video, you check out most of the conditions well. But you need to add a few condition too, like:
- Video quality on all modes (unzoom and zoom cases)
- Changing camera smoothness while video recording (mostly @30, @60)
- Frame quality on every modes (@30, @60, @120 or @240 etc.) Some phones has really frame-drop problems (note10+ on 4K@60)
- Video shakiness effect (look the zoomed Mate 30 Pro at 02:03) :
When you move fast on any camera mode, some phones make this effect even normal camera mode 4k@60 (not zoomed i mean), if they record really that fast, this effect shouldn't be there (they say that their phones can records @120fps, @240fps. Need to check wave effect while shaking)
Maybe it's just me, but in my 24'' Dell screen, the Note 10's video is looking crispier than the other two.
