All the Chinese brands are using the 1 inch sensors very well and giving a huge competition for Apple and samsung, but why can't samsung and iPhone the two best mobile brands can't use a 1 inch sensor 😢
because they're wise with taking their pace. if they go 100 miles per hr like xiaomi, oppo, and vivo what is there to upgrade once they plateau? they are maximizing the software and isp before moving on to the next tech. why do you think their software and cameras look better even though they have smaller sensors? coz they big companies. consistency is what they are selling.
You want to have longevity in this market, and by putting all the best camera tech into your phone now, you will find that in the upcoming years, you have little to offer, and therefore, people will not find a reason to upgrade. Apple and Samsung understand the 4-5-year upgrade cycle and take their time. Patience is a virtue, and Apple has used it for years, and it has survived and prospered. OEMs like OPPO, ASUS, VIVO, etc, are struggling to make smartphones pay, and this is a last resort but ultimately will fail as high-end cameras are a niche techie sector.
@@andyH_England we have the same thinking mate. Just look at the xiaomi 14 pro model, from a 1 inch sensor they got back down to a smaller 1/1.31 inch sensor because they used a different tech which is a stacked sensor but they didn't put it on the pro model coz they saved it for the ultra. imagine if they put that on the pro, there's nothing special with the ultra anymore except for a 4th lens. going forward if China phones continue to do this, they are going to be plateauing very fast while Apple and Samsung are going to keep going. if people right now get the best of the best, they will not find a reason to upgrade, therefore losing more sales in the future. that's why Samsung and Apple are masters at this. small upgrades keep people actually excited for whats going to come next instead of having it all, and theirs sales says it all.
No one is destroying anyone, it's not like it's a curbstomb win for any of these phones. They all have their plus and minus in different areas. All these "Specific" phone lovers love to just hate on any other phone that aren't that "Specific" phone.
@@PEEshooter-pr3sq Samsung user here. Definitely not upset. I think most of us Android users are sort of on the same fence. If one phone is better, we just jump ship. It's easy. And will grab the Vivo x100Ultra when it releases. 👌🏻
POV: Everyone knows that Oppos canera processing is always better than vivo but it isn't performing good because of lack of optimization due to not being available globally, otherwise the camera of find x7 ultra is ranked no. 1 at dxomark and it is also proving
What’s with Samsung being too dim in many of the tests? Pixels also do this. Sort of a deal breaker habit. Crazy these companies would not notice this problem and fix it. It’s been around in a few generations of their phones already.
its because they would rather risk under exposing than over exposing , with dim pics u can always make them brighter and keep most of the details or even enhance them , but a too bright pic loses details and lowering the brightness wont recover those details ...
What is often overlooked in tests is the distortion of the cameras. I have the oppo find x5 pro and my wife has the iphone 14pro. The iphone takes very nice, proportional pictures of people, while the oppo often tends to distort in a very unflattering way. The iphone is pretty good at handling any photographic challenge and is a much better replacement for my system camera.

@@TechNick Thank you. Oh the Xiaomi 14 Ultra, another phone we won't get lol. I wish they could bring their phones here. We need more flagship alternatives. Samsung is so overrated and Apple is just a lifestyle choice at this point.
@@TechNick oh and I'm really praying the honor does well since it's our only real alternative to the rest lol. I know it's zoom will be bad above 30x but I think Honor had a trade off to make. By only having 2.5x, the could use a much larger aperture which makes the zoom camera useful in low light conditions as well but only up to 30x really from what I've seen. The Samsung does awfully in low light with its zoom cameras so Honor made it such that their zoom is more usable in a wider range of scenarios like in low light but limited to lower zoom ranges since anything above 30x is mostly unable anyway.

I'd say Oppo's decision to go with 3X and 6X telephoto cameras is the best. Having a dedicated 5X is okay but I think the 3X can handle that zoom level pretty well. Also, the Tecno Camon 30 series just got announced. The Camon 30 premier has a 3X periscope camera which to my knowledge is Tecno's first. It will be interesting to see how a mid range phone works with a periscope lens. If possible, please do check it out.

*Feedback* Do 2 at a time next time. 4 at once is skewed in many ways and its too much at once. 2 at a time is more better for you as well as the viewers and not to mention more effective.
It's just my personal opinion, but I have to say 15promax and S24 ultra are the most versatile. You can take them to any country, and they will be compatible with that country's cellphone signals but you can't say that with the other 2.
There's plenty of similar comparisons here on UA-cam which include the Honor Magic 6 Pro. As it stands, it's more or less the worst overall package compared to these. Vivo and Oppo are the better options.
I don't understand the showering of love for the Vivo. I found its pics to look unrealistic and grainy in many of those shots. And it's an ugly phone also. The S24U showed the best over all results, and has many, many, MANY features that weren't even discussed here, because the other phones don't have them. Lastly, I'm also a professional photographer, and the "Pro Mode" on the S24U destroys the other phones. It's has the better results, and easily the MOST features of any of these phones.
If professional photographer,,, any brand phone woth pro mode or manual mode,,, they can utlize all the function... The point here, most of people just point and shoot auto mode... In auto point and shoot,, vivo is camera king and iphone is video king...

By the way, vivos portrait mode at 85 mm has really good detail, I think you should have used that
The Vivo x100 pro continues to seriously upset the competition
Vivo sempre Vivo😊😅
Meu Vivo X90PRO bate d frente 😊😅
Only upsets casual users.
Yeah its definitely upsetting iphone and samsung users
@@PEEshooter-pr3sq Samsung user here. Definitely not upset. I think most of us Android users are sort of on the same fence. If one phone is better, we just jump ship. It's easy.
I don't know if iPhone users even care about our android phones either, no matter how good we are. They're in their own little world.
Gonna pick up the Oppo Find X7 Ultra myself and keep my S24U. And will grab the Vivo x100Ultra when it releases. 👌🏻
Proud To Have Vivo X 100 Pro ❤ Very Good Review, Very Detailed Keep It Up 👍🏻
Awesome presentation. I have already ordered vivo x100 pro as my next smartphone. Thanks to you.
I got it from the first day it was released here in Beijing. It is the best mobile that I ever had.
POV: Everyone knows that Oppos canera processing is always better than vivo but it isn't performing good because of lack of optimization due to not being available globally, otherwise the camera of find x7 ultra is ranked no. 1 at dxomark and it is also proving
Loved this high-end comparison ❤
For me, The Samsung S24 Ultra will always remain my Favorite Flagship beast when it comes to the Smartphone universe.
wrong
What’s with Samsung being too dim in many of the tests? Pixels also do this. Sort of a deal breaker habit. Crazy these companies would not notice this problem and fix it. It’s been around in a few generations of their phones already.
its because they would rather risk under exposing than over exposing , with dim pics u can always make them brighter and keep most of the details or even enhance them , but a too bright pic loses details and lowering the brightness wont recover those details ...
@@maselitoamazigh1385 … why does Apple get exposure right though?
Not true at all that samsung photos are too dim for generations, last year s23 ultra was way too bright, most of the times overexposing.
Awesome comparison!
Love all phones! Every has pros and cons...
Fingers crossed for the giveaway ✌🏽!
this the best phone comparison ive seen in a while.. Fantastic job!
I'm satisfied with my s24 ultra. All those phones are great. Also Honor magic 6 pro and Xiaomi 14 ultra are great too. With any of them you can't be wrong. Keep working bro. This is videos which I mostly like from you. I know it's hardest also.
The weirdest thing is… I know Samsung cameras aren’t the best, but based on other reviews, it should still be top-tier. I’m not sure why, but in this video, Samsung’s performance in certain areas doesn’t match what I expected-it looks downright awful.
Check out my latest camera comparison where I compare the Huawei Pura 70 Ultra, Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra, Xiaomi 14 Ultra and Vivo X100 Ultra 👉 ua-cam.com/video/HPRy8UFZBJA/v-deo.html
Nice comparison.
Smartphone photography and videography is reaching a nexus where your camera needs are satisfied by almost any premium to high-midrange device.
Excellent review, very well rounded.
Tho i did notice that you didn't include periscope macro shots, but you listed OPPO find x7 ultra as having best telephoto minimum focusing distance, i checked on the internet and its 25cm, while VIVO x100pros minimum focusing distance on telephoto camera is 18cm, pls explain this?
Comprehensive and detailed...Thanks...Great comparation.
D is my choice!
Can't go wrong with any of the devices all good.
thank you for making the most complete camera comparasion... for me the most outstanding camera per price is the vivo x100 pro and its also my dream phone tbh... hope i can buy it eventhough its kinda expensive for my range budget... wish me luck
p/s : you got another new subscriber congrats
Can you include the Honor Magic 6 Pro next since it's the only one actually coming to South Africa? We have such limited options here it sucks. I don't want a Samsung or iPhone
Yes sir, will be including it in my next camera comp alongside the Xiaomi 14 Ultra 👏
@@TechNickcould you add vivo to the comparison too, also show us which OS running and Chinese or global version you are using, also add astrophotography shot by each phone and then your comparison is 💯
Hello from Russia🇷🇺. As for me, the Samsung S24 ultra is the best. In general, in Russia you begin to notice two camps. Girls walk with iPhone 15 pro max, men with Samsung S24ultra. Success to the author in the development of the channel.🤝
Bulshit
I got my X100 pro for half the price of the Samsung and iPhone, it's a no brainer.
ong, it beats them in many categories and is close in other ones, and even half the price, it is insane what Vivo is pulling of
@@wearefromserbia9714 It beats all of thw smartphones in the world with its 1" sensor main lens.
No phone in this world can produce better quality in photography when using the main sensor other than vivo
All are great but why iPhone shots from 6:12 to 7:35 are different?? Looks like it’s not at the same time as the others
iPhone photos were taken with sun covered with clouds... No point of comparing photos with such different conditions...
Iphone does overall good job samsung is somewhere in btw i didn't like why it click dark in some scenes vivo is good with its vibrant colors and portrait shots and oppo portrait shots are also good
Best comparison ever❤️❤️🔥🔥
*Vivo Perfeito, Parabéns pelo Vídeo!!*
have you vivo x100 pro witch funtouch os or origin os ?
Fun touch os
Awesome camera comprision as always brother
All Machines Did Great But IMO, I Prefer Consistency Which I Think Is The Best Provided By The iPhone 15 Pro Max ❤.
Awesome Comparison Nick 😊.
And now, the Xiaomi 14 Ultra, I am very very curious how that will perform 😎
Xiaomi is crap
Samsung ultra s24 vs honor magic 6 pro vs sony xparia v100 vs google pixel 8 pro vs Motorola x50 pro vs huawei mate 60 pro vs oppo find x6 pro vs vivo x100 pro.who is the king of all camera phones?
"I just look that good"😂😂😂 I want the vivo like yesterday!😭
Early congratulations to you fo having a baby boy..😊❤
Yow should skip upcoming comparisons if you want ..spend more time with family..
Vivo vivo vivo 🎉
I'd say Oppo's decision to go with 3X and 6X telephoto cameras is the best. Having a dedicated 5X is okay but I think the 3X can handle that zoom level pretty well.
Also, the Tecno Camon 30 series just got announced. The Camon 30 premier has a 3X periscope camera which to my knowledge is Tecno's first. It will be interesting to see how a mid range phone works with a periscope lens.
If possible, please do check it out.
Basically the iPhone and the Vivo are light years ahead of the competition. And it's not even fair to compare them to the rest.
Honor magic 6 pro battery drain test please I never had such a long lasting battery
Will include it in my next battery test for sure!
@@TechNickgreat
@TechNick tech chap beat you to the punch but I can tell from the video he was disappointed when Samsung destroyed the 15pm my guess money talks
Great practice to show which firmware was installed during making this comparison👍
Vivo's portraits looks amazing and your work nick is fabulous
The most detailed comparison I've ever seen. Thank you for your work bro.
Best dizayn.Samsung 24 ultra.Beautiful
I think you should add Oneplus 12 in this comparison.
You got the global version of X100 pro or is it china rom?
Global my friend :)
Which veraion of ViVo did u use? 12gb or 16gb
Finished the task 🎉❤
I don't know about you boys and girls, but I am all team Vivo. Can't wait fir the phone to be available in my country!
P. S. Nice video, Nick! Thanks!
Vivo for photos iPhone for videos 👌😅
Confuse in between what to buy
nice comparison
Watching from S24 Ultra. everything is great in this phone, but I'm having difficulty changing the lenses while recording a video. It's like it's glitching. I don't know if I'm the only one facing this issue.
No, autofocus is pretty bad in comparison to my previous Iphone.
oppo photos looks more natural to me
what gimbal did you use?
Yes the one that In waited for
One of the best videos wiith detailed Analysis. I am Vivo X100 pro user and it's takes picture perfect photos.
Samsung messed up with the 24 Ultra
not really camera isnt the only thing you should see in a phone
@@TempestCK For a $1100 phone, I have the right to look into the camera lol
i do agreed.... even the cheppo Poco X6 Pro has a better screen color and brightness in Vivid mode VS S24 Ultra Vivid Middle setting duhhh Good bye s24 ultra.... Poco X6 pro + iPhone 15 Pro Max way to go! ❤
fair enough .. @@icxydragon
Thank you so much for doing this comparison video. It's very helpful :)
*Feedback*
Do 2 at a time next time.
I wish Honor Magic 6 Pro was included in this comparison
It will be in the next one 😉 So will the Xiaomi 14 Ultra
make sure to include the vivo x100 pro with it as well@@TechNick
There's plenty of similar comparisons here on UA-cam which include the Honor Magic 6 Pro. As it stands, it's more or less the worst overall package compared to these. Vivo and Oppo are the better options.
Your narration is the most soothing among all the tech UA-camr.
Vivo is the 👑
Still waiting for a Mgic6 Pro video. What's up with that?
iPhone and Vivo 🔥🔥
Which other phones in this comparison shoot in log profile natively?
I don't understand the showering of love for the Vivo. I found its pics to look unrealistic and grainy in many of those shots. And it's an ugly phone also. The S24U showed the best over all results, and has many, many, MANY features that weren't even discussed here, because the other phones don't have them. Lastly, I'm also a professional photographer, and the "Pro Mode" on the S24U destroys the other phones. It's has the better results, and easily the MOST features of any of these phones.
Coz not every one is rich like you
If professional photographer,,, any brand phone woth pro mode or manual mode,,, they can utlize all the function... The point here, most of people just point and shoot auto mode... In auto point and shoot,, vivo is camera king and iphone is video king...
Watched all Samsung photos look great , good saturation and all❤❤
Vivo X100 Pro👌👍🏆
