As for my interpretation, RUN is talking the struggle to chasing our dreams where we pour our passion, hopes n loves when chasing it even something it's feels so hard, tiring and painful because every path always have a challenges, a test, even we can take a wrong path or even losing our way to achieve the dreams. But, as long as we still have the love n passion for it, we must not give up and keeps trying to continue to "run" to achieve it even we already make a mistake or take the wrong way. We can take a rest for a while before run, but dont ever stop. Because once we stop, it will be over. We will say goodbye to the dream that we once loves. Or our loves for our dreams is just a lie coz we gave up so easily.

I believe there was death threats in 2015 during the Red Bullet Tour and concerts were canceled. They worked so hard and nonstop and their physical and emotional health was poured into their songs and fans found solace in their relatable lyrics 😢

I am totally agree do what you want but I do suggest that either you watch a documentary explaining the bu or you dive into the Bangtan universe. all the music videos in order because you won't understand the story as some of bts's music videos pertain to the fictional story that they are currently being turned into a drama. Also a rule of thumb. I know it sounds like a romantic relationship but most of the time it goes deeper. Like for instance this song is about friendship and as she always does Taylor has a very deep dive into the Bangtan universe video. if you want to skip putting the clues together you could go watch that video. Also you did dive into the bu I suggest you go back and watch this video because there might have been things that you didn't realize because you were looking at it through a romantic relationship gone wrong view. but the fictional story that is the Bangtan universe is about 7 young guys who are going to hardships that drives them to life-threatening destructiveness in their own lives and whether or not the main character (Jin) can't save his friends and find out more information about his own personal mystery going on in his life this again is a fictional story. think like a comic book universe

I think most Army will say you not ready for the BU but def enjoy the music and visuals but making sense of the visuals will be tough (especially on your own- I couldn't do it alone). lol. Enjoy! This is just a guess, but I think someone probably suggested you react to the song "Run BTS" by BTS, which is different than this one and more recent (it doesn't have an MV, but the live performance at the Busan concert is fantastic and often recommended to new reactors).
But Run is also a great song. It's part of the Most Beautiful Moment in Life (or HYYH) album series that deals with the joys and pains of being a young adult. Like others explain in the comments its part of the Bangtan Universe where they play characters of themselves with fictional storylines. Don't feel bad if you can't figure out everything that's going on in the MVs that are part of the BU because it's not exactly meant to be a linear or easily understood story, and there are Notes released with their albums that go with the MVs and give a lot more detail on the story.
And though there's since been a webtoon and a book that tell an official version of the story, I'd say there's no real "right" way to interpret it all.

You should watch the WINGS trailer/short films. it will help explain some of the BU background. Celeste also has a great video about the BU and how most of their MV are one long storyline running in the background. Every action and even props, paintings, etc has meaning. 💜
BU videos are labeled as BU content and they can be very confusing. The MVs are the actual BU content while the songs and their lyrics are somewhat disconnected from the BU. The BU MVs are essentially movies without any dialog and only the soundtrack playing. It's also very long and confusing. It spans more than five years of content and includes MVs, short films, a webtoon, books, and a game. They are also working on a K-drama based on it. If you really want to try and figure it all out, good luck. If you just want to know the story, you can watch XCelete's summary of it. If you don't want to bother with any of it, you can just enjoy the songs and ignore the visuals of the MVs. BTS is really good at setting things up so that you can get as deep into it as you want or ignore it entirely if you prefer.

Run was made back when they had very little money to produce videos. They used their staffs cars, because they couldn't afford to rent cars etc back then. RUN was made on a shoestring budget. You are close to entering an alternate universe. This is called the B.U. The BTS Universe.
The ending is about friendship and Jin is in the last shot on the beach standing next to the vehicle but in the photo that Jimin burns he’s missing. Jin is the oldest and first to enter the military and will be out in a month. This symbolism is their own and it’s all through the video. They aced it it’s a piece of art. 💜

I even managed to bring my intellectual musician-poet husband into fanhood. He had his doubts at first, but quickly he was like, Just listen to the music. It is truly creative, original, and very accomplished. (To date, I have not yet ventured into the BTS Universe...) But just enjoy. Good work, Ernesto. I love how open you are with your personal story - very few reactors are, so I loev it when someone feels able to share. As someone else says, this is not about romantic love, but about friendship - the kind of friendship which is in fact love : which of course can go wrong just as often as romantic love does. BTS very much depended (and depends) on the relationships within the team, and they all regard each other as family. For example, they have said that they want to be close to each others' grandchildren - that is a family statement if ever there was one.
FYI, also, the closing clip, Butterfly, is very deeply sad, reflecting on the fear of losing a close friend and trying to encourage him not to end himself.
As you now know, BTS have always addressed hard and painful subjects which had been taboo, and still do.
Suga has a beautiful song 'Dear my friend' which he released on a mixtape, but performed at his recent tour concerts - in tears. The audience picked up the chorus for him. He was still young when he had lost touch with a close friend and was then told he was in juvenile detention. He visited him there to try to help him but the connection was lost. He later died (I think either from drugs or his own hand). The whole thing clearly remains very painful for Suga who still misses him, but he still shared that with his friends in ARMY. The stage is BTS' safe place...

Im so glad you enjoyed this song, its a classic 😆 since the bts storyline can be overwhelming for newbies, i suggest you don't worry too much about it, unless you want to delve into it for yourself.

From their real experiences: they started out with one bedroom for all 7 to share, they can become a chaotic mess together, RM and V were room mates, j-hope and Jimin were room mates. JK can throw a punch; he boxes, V and RM like viewing modern art, Jin was the oldest, so he was the first to drive and sometimes drove them places. And Jin always looks pretty.
I have a feeling that you would LOVE BTS R&B vibe tracks. So you need to check out HOME, PARADISE and LOVE MAZE. These tracks have no video so you will need a lyric video. They are not always 100% accurate but at least you will know what they are trying to say. Honestly, the meaning of these tracks is beautiful. 💜

Congratulations, you have entered the BU - the Bangtan Universe - an alternative timeline that runs through a lot of albums/songs and it started with The Most Beautiful Moment In Life the HYYH trilogy (HYYH 1&2 and Forever) and this video - RUN. The BU is comprised of songs, notes (from various albums), a web toon, a web game and various bits and bobs that have been posted on fan cafes and so on. Butterfly, the part in the credits also showed part of the BU story. You can just enjoy the songs, the musicality of BTS and it is not necessary to dive into the BU for enjoying all this. Bro… at the very end if you look closely at the photo (there are only 6 boys in it) is why Jimin burns in hand when he’s in the bathtub with suicidal thoughts by water… Jhope overdoses on the street ….Suga suicide thoughts by fire It’s because Jin has died , in the Wings trilogy. It’s why all the boys have gone through depression in this wings series. The original photograph has all 7 boys.
But after the death of Jin, he disappears from the photo !
In the music video when the house of cards falls ? That represents the time of his death… that’s why they show his face so pale and off to the side.. there are so many references with Jin being there just in spirit.. you will see an upcoming videos where Jin tries to reverse time. You actually see rain, falling backwards… So he can save his brothers from being possessed from evil and falling apart from depression of the loss of their friend. Which also ties into blood, sweat, and tears and the possession of Satan.. and why V became possessed and started to grow black wings. After Jins kiss of death on the statue. It also relates into Black Swan & many other MV storylines tie in.

Ahhh, welcome to the BU! It’s a fictional storyline that runs through multiple videos, there was a webtoon maybe? Books? Very detailed; very deep; very angsty! You’ll still be able to enjoy the songs and music videos without all of the BU knowledge. Once you are willing to get more into it, it’s a lot! i love bts sm. im still new but as a new viewer i recommend you never skip music videos as they have so much at the end of many MVs. i hope you get into them more and enjoy bts as much as we all do.

Ty for sharing ur story. I am glad u got the gal u loved in the end. =0} BTS finds u when u need them the most but many things actually do occur when it's their time and not before. She matured over the yrs and was finally ready for a long last relationship to me. And that time was a struggle for u and made u grow and u could meet her in the middle at last. BTS speaks of youth and love in the early vids but the BU storyline is all about friendship and self love and their later songs are about each other, army or self love. Hugs. Hello fellow Texan! I live in Celina ( N Dallas) originally from suburbs of Ft. Worth. 60 yr old Army, and I have been enjoying your channel. Like others have mentioned this is part of the BU. I agree with waiting and getting a list of which to watch and what order ( it is like the Avenger movies)lol. I have been Army almost 2 years and I am just now getting into the BU, more of Run BTS and more video content type stuff. There is got to be over 400 songs to listen and react to. The BU alone is deep, and I mean deep. The rabbit hole alone for their music is intense. Since you are a reactor I would go with BU later and do together. Watch Suga Suchwita, this also helps you learn about the members, he also interviews other professionals. That's just me though, really just a suggestion.
Before I forget for you and any other fellow Army, Suga D Day concert looks like it is coming to an end in theaters, Wed last showing 4/24. ( the one in concerts) I highly recommend you go and see it. It is a great opportunity I would hate for you to miss it. You will also get to see a few members perform live. Not sure there will be another opportunity (it may go to cable) till 2025.
You really need to watch Taylors Guide. Knowing their faces is great, but there is content in this video you will be surprised to see, I think. Army loves to watch. It is hard to catch all the info the first time. Also, Their mv's are intense, so it is critical to watch, ( pause if you need to) but the BU, or mv with lots of meaning you can miss stuff just blinking.lol For instance, I had seen Mic Drop numerous times and wasn't unitl after watching the making of, that I noticed Jimin and JK flying backwards in the air ( while Suga ) is rapping, or not even till recenlty that Steve Aoki picture is in the air above them at one point during the video ( sky/ background is dark but he is their). With subtitles, and their dancing it is hard to catch it all, their are famous for easter eggs as well.

I don't think you're ready for that yet! 🤣 If you just know that its part of the BU, just know that there is a deeper meaning, but it may not be what you think. I think you watched the wrong video. This was Run by BTS. You were supposed to watch Run BTS dance practice and or live performance. BTW, you're married, why is your name lonely dad? 💜

Dived right into the BU. It may be a little early for BU😂 One thing that has really bonded BTS and ARMY is their Weverse Lives. They would just randomly pop up live, share their days, hopes, fears and everything with us. There was chat and they'd talk to us and answer questions. Every member went live before they went into the military to talk to us. There's a ton of compilations of their lives on UA-cam. Jungkook's were omg, you'd have to see for yourself 😂

You might have misunderstood the request. They have a song called Run, this one, and they have a song called RUN BTS, which is much newer, and they also have their own streaming variety show called RUN BTS where they play games and do challenges and so forth. This song came out in 2015. RUN BTS the song came out in late 2022.
Not that this is not a fantastic song too!
RUN BTS has a dance practice version and a live version, but it has no official MV. It was one of the last group songs they put out before their hiatus for enlistment.
