Hi dear. 68yo ARMY here. The little girl represents ARMY. This was Jin's goodbye song to ARMY before enlisting. ARMY is almost always depicted as a child in their videos because ARMY was formed July 9, 2013 and hence ARMY is only 10 years old. At the end when he looks directly in the camera he's looking at ARMY. BTS does this in other videos too.

Ok so ……you cannot watch this video without watching the only live version that Jin sang with Coldplay in their concert in Argentina. Yes, Jin travelled 35 + hours to go and another 35+ hours to come back just before enlisting in the military. If you do decide to watch it, you also have to react to the speech Chris Martin from Coldplay made to introduce Jin to the stage. The speech, the intro, and the performance was epic !

There are so many Easter eggs here…the tv anchor is Chris Martin of Coldplay; the dark squares of the crossword spells For ARMY in braille; the moles visible on Jin’s neck also spell ARMY in braille; there’s Coldplay posters and merch on the wall behind the bed; the guitar that Chris Martin gave Jin is in corner. There are more but these are the stand outs. Jin asked Chris & Coldplay to help him come up with a song that he can sing as a goodbye as he began his military service. The live mv is amazing where Jin traveled over 30 hrs from South Korea to Argentina to sing this one song with Coldplay.
I don't know braille, so I'll have to take your word for it and that is soooo cool although blind people wouldn't see it. I would love to see them incorporate more sign language too,

71 year old Army. The little girl's family took him in and she represents Army with her purple bicycle and then the beautiful purple space shots constellations, milky way, etc. This was zJin's love letter and gift to Army before he joined the military.

This was Jin's goodbye song to ARMY before going into the military. Jin asked Chris from Coldplay to write this song for him and this is the final product. BTS and Coldplay have developed such a great friendship. So cool that two groups who don't even speak the same language make such beautiful music together!
You really must watch Jin's live performance with Coldplay, he flew all the way to Argentina just to sing this song for Army before joining the military and it was a truly beautiful experience.

BTS have multiple space themed songs and three of them have been selected by NASA to be part of their "Moon Tunes" to be played during the 2024 voyage. "Moonchild" by RM and Mikrokosmos and 134340 by the whole group. Jin also has a song called "Moon" which is excellent.
134340 is the planet number for Pluto. Recently, Pluto lost its planet status, which made RM sad.

BTS has a way of getting most of us in our feelings. I'm not sure what it is, their sincerity, the relatable-ness of it, the true care they have for those they are creating art for, authenticity . You aren't alone, this is THE army condition.

Don't worry about getting emotional. A lot of us definitely teared up on this one because it was such an obvious 'goodbye, I love you' as he released it just before enlisting. Due to being scouted when he was a theater major, Jin used to say he "felt like an alien" with BTS - he has no background in singing (Jungkook), dancing (J-Hope and Jimin), playing an instrument (V), nor rap (Suga and RM) - so he really was the "odd one out" when he joined BigHit. He actually joined under the assumption of BigHit being a general talent agency, and the company promising him ACTING roles! Little did he know...LOL That's why, in the video, he seems so unfamiliar with everything. How to shake the Polaroid, not sure what to do with the sprinkler, his "emotions" when the girl rode her bike alone, etc. All of it was just part of being an "alien" - to the music industry when he joined as well as in the video.
As others have pointed out, yes, the little girl is 9 years old. The same "age" as ARMY when the video dropped. Thus, she *is* ARMY. But, the "other" Easter egg (specifically about her)...in the beginning, her bike is boring, Jin gives her his black helmet...but later on? The bike - and her helmet - turn purple. The BTS/ARMY color.
There are just...SO many Easter eggs in this video. The guys almost always try to insert something "hidden" in their vids for us, but this one has the most. ("Yet to Come", I think, is the next closest.)
Anyway, seriously, give it 6 months, maybe a year?, and come back to this video. See how many of those "eggs" you can spot on your own...without re-reading these messages.

You're right, the song was his I Love You to ARMY just before he left for the military. The little girl represents ARMY because the fandom was about 9 years old at the time of this release. He crash landed in our world unexpectedly, not having planned a career in music and feeling out of place. ARMY taught him how to love and be loved, and how to be at home in this world. Now it's the only place he wants to be, hence why the Astronaut doesn't return to space when he has the chance.

Jin left on 12/22/22 for mandatory military service. Together with his friend Cris Martin, they collaborated on a farewell song.
In one of his solo songs (MOON) he had already said “I am the moon and the army is my land”.
Seeing his repair, he prepares to return to his planet.
He says goodbye to his neighbor and friend and goes to meet his ship.
Details: Giving the helmet to your friend reveals your care (“stay well”); the girl is about 10 years old, Army age; the bicycle is purple (Army color); the black spaces in the crossword puzzle he did spelled out the word Army in braille.
In this friendship, he taught and learned things, especially how to enjoy simple things, experience new emotions; be happier.

Same here I find I tear up far more easily now then I didn't 20years even 10years ago. Some time's I listening to music I find tears running down my face other times I can feel myself just about tear up and manage to stop it.

South Korea just sent a satellite to space and its name was BTS. NASA used some of their songs to play in the rocket they sending or sent to the moon. Jin has also recorded a song he wrote called Moon which he wrote as tribute to armies again and it was placed at number 5 of Rolling Stones best boy group song of all time!
