I find it interesting that both of Lori's children were dark spirits, but not one of Chad's 5 children was a dark spirit. 🤔

The sad part is that Charles would have taken them both, Colby would have taken them both. Even her mom and sister, they used to defend her so much at the beginning, that I’m sure they would have found a way to defend her “reputation” while taking the kids. She had choices, but was selfish.

What’s really sad about JJ, to me, is that there are people available who would have eagerly taken him off of Lori’s hands. They did not have to kill him, to free Lori of the burden of dealing with him.
They wanted the money. He had support money coming in that would have gone away if he was in someone else's care.

Chad should also be charged with Charles murder, because it was him that marked him as dark. Also, he knew about the attempted murder of Brandon Boudreaux. He helped put the seat and tire in the storage unit. He should be charged the same as Lori in the all the deaths, in my opinion.

I find it hard to believe Tammy believed in dark/light demons same as Chad and Lori. More like, maybe just not as spiritually inclined as Chad thought they should be. I think the most shocking part of the trial so far is finding out that Tammy and the Kids participated in the dark scale and that they as a family had labeled some of the Sunday school kids from their church as “dark.”

There sits a man who no longer wanted to be married to his wife Tammy, and divorce wasn't on his mind.
Divorce wasn’t an option because then he couldn’t be the leader of the 144,000 AND by killing Tammy, he collected $400k in life insurance to help fund their new life in Hawaii.
He wanted the life insurance money. He knew Lori was VERY high maintenance and he would need a lot of money to keep her happy and to keep her from killing him off like she has 2 previous husbands; Charles and Joseph.
Why would you duct tape someone after they were dead… wait you wouldn’t…. They duct taped that child while he was alive…

Yes, Emma being a teacher of young children is absolutely frightening. She should have been horrified that bodies were buried on dad’s property. Instead, she seemed unmoved by it and only upset about daddy going to jail. She asks no questions about it or who these bodies are. And then, she talks about moving into that house…like WHO would move there?? These people are nuts!
13:33 When Melanie G was talking to Lori and Chad on the phone, and asks why they told the cops that JJ was with her, Lori has a bit of a Freudian slip. She starts to say that she needed somebody to USE, then corrects herself.
I think Lori used people her whole life, then threw them away when they weren't useful to her anymore, like she did with her first 4 husbands, and probably her own brother.

Chad didn't even have any shocking reaction that they found two deceased children bodies buried in his backyard while they had him in custody in the police vehicle because he clearly knew the moment they started searching his property that they were going to find the bodies.
More importantly, his daughter wasn't shocked and she hasn't been charged.
@LawandCrime I think it's possible the neighbor down the road that died suddenly was on to Chad or witnessed some of it. His death needs to be investigated more thoroughly.

I listened to an interesting podcast yesterday about Mormon beliefs. Light and dark is a tenet in the religion but not the decimal weighting of it, that’s all Chad.
Prior should never of mentioned the minor boy in Sunday school, was dark!
The whole thing is horrible. I believe Alex Cox was murdered or deliberately took something cause he was given that weird blessing by Chad. Listening to it alone is frightening.
I also believe this. It was cleaning up loose ends. He had completed his tasks of disposing of the kids, and was of no further use to Chad and Lori, in fact I think Alex could be pretty talkative about things Lori would not want exposed.

There was an autopsy on Alex. The medical examiner determined the cause of death was blood clots in the lungs caused by untreated high blood pressure.

It's still better than Lori's all we got was a day late audio only so this is definitely an improvement.

Charles Vallow foiled her with his life insurance, she didn’t realise he had left it to his sister, Kay Woodcock.
There are also questions around her sister Stacey’s death. She being the mother of Melani Pawlowski, Lori’s protege niece. She was married to Brandon Boudreaux when Alex Cox made an attempt on his life. Obviously that attempt was so Melani could take his life insurance. Money is definitely their main motivation.

I truly think that because of Charles’s email about the affair combined with the kids missing and everyone looking for them then Chad telling her about the raccoon burial in the backyard, Tammy had confronted Chad and a struggle ensued and then Tammy mysteriously was murdered. Jesse!!! The Flamm Funeral Home is run by my partners family. They're are known for doing amazing work. And show such great respect for the deceased and the family of the deceased. They're phenomenal families, and I was privileged to hear great stories about the family and area before my partner passed away here in AZ. He passed next to me, and I performed life-saving measures but was unsuccessful. It was just his time.Strong of faith, intelligence, morals, values, and lessons taught by his very involved parents made my partner one the best people I've ever met. He always tried to help me better myself, no matter what the situation. Im grateful for the perfectionists and each member of this family. They bring so much to our communities and the world. Thank you for this recap. I haven't been able to watch much of the trial due to working, but I will jump when I have a chance. I saw some of what you covered but really like your delivery of the facts.
Does anyone think that Chad’s children will wise up to the fact that he murdered their mom? There is so much evidence to support that he did.

Doubtful. One would hope so, but lots and lots of families of killers remain in complete denial and are seemingly as demented in their thinking and reasoning as the killers are. The religious cult these people are associated with is scary on so many levels. 😳
What bothers me most is hearing about all the bruises on JJ. That means he had time to realize they were trying to hurt him and fight back. He had to be terrified, confused, betrayed. Even if it was a couple minutes, it had to be an eternity for him. No punishment is enough to make up for that.

Those emails were written by chad.
But all of the people on the light and dark chart that were killed or died are members of their own families that they wanted out of the way.

In Heather Daybells interview with Mathias' of Hidden True Crimes (Chads SIL), there was a big family luau and Tammy was in attendance but slumpy .... Heather said she inferred she was in one of her down slumps.
I wondered if Tammy read the email, knew it was a possibility or aligned with her suspicions or knowing, but didn't want to address it. So blocked it online, and mentally .... depression resulted.
I wish someone who does timeliness would put the email and Luau together ...

They said she came out with a baseball bat... and, didn't Alex have a bandage about his head, claiming Charles did it. What if Tylee was the one that hit Alex, to protect Charles?
