Why argue that apostates were “inspired” by the lds church? Doesn’t the word apostate mean that they didn’t agree with the church?
The police in AZ should face consequences for failing their duty to protect Charles. He asked for help many times and ultimately he was murdered. And even then, seeing Lori laughing about it and listening to Alex’s story full of inconsistencies they did nothing. This was not simply incompetence, this was negligence.

It makes me so angry to see how they dismiss his concerns, and I’m sure women are taken seriously more than men, but it’s still rare that they do anything for women either. I didn’t even bother to call the cops when an ex tried to force himself into my apartment. I didn’t call the cops when a supervisor I called out for harassment-all of a sudden he was showing up at the places I went outside of work.
