I’ve been thinking a lot about retirement lately. It seems like such a big life change, and there’s so much to consider. I mean, how do you even know when you’re truly ready to take that leap?

Retirement is now more difficult than it was in the past. It’s about balancing your risk tolerance with your long term goals. Maybe consider speaking to an advisor to help in diversifying your portfolio to spread out the risk

it’s not just about having enough money in the bank, right? There are so many factors involved financial, emotional, and even how it impacts your family. I’ve been reading that one of the most important things is to first understand your "why" for retiring. You need to have a clear sense of what you’re retiring to, not just from

A lot of people retire without really thinking through what they want their life to look like afterward. They assume that once they stop working, everything will just fall into place

That’s why it’s essential to ask yourself if you’re emotionally ready, not just financially. A lot of people don’t realize how much of their identity is tied to their work until they stop. Suddenly, you don’t have that daily structure, social interactions, or sense of purpose

I am just so thankful to God that I was able to retire. I am an introvert so being home is my haven. My children love me being home. I volunteer for my church. My husband has a boat and loves it!! He maintains it well. It makes him happy and since he has to keep on working he deserves it❤All this to say I take nothing for granted and give many thanks for my blessings 🙏🏼

Don't simply retire from something; have something to retire to. Start saving, keep saving, and stick to investments

It’s really heartbreaking to see how inflation and recession impact low-income families. The cost of living keeps rising, and many struggle just to meet basic needs, let alone save or invest. It’s a reminder of the importance of finding ways to create financial opportunities. You've helped me a lot sir Brian! Imagine i invested $50,000 and received $190,500 after 14 days

Absolutely! Profits are possible, especially now, but complex transactions should be handled by experienced market professionals.

Some persons think inves'tin is all about buying stocks; I think going into the stock market without a good experience is a big risk, that's why I'm lucky to have seen someone like mr Brian C Nelson.

I am on Medicare now. This is day 4. I’m 65 in a few days. Where did the time go???
I am fully vested in my state retirement so health insurance is free for me and now that I’m on Medicare and paying the Part B premium, my Part D is free and dental and health insurances are $28 per month combined. I’m so grateful for these benefits from my state service. This is ultimately why I moved from the private sector to state government.
I worked remotely for years, so I had already come to terms with the lack of interaction, and that helped me adjust quickly. I’m single and live alone. I have friends out there in the world. I LOVE retirement.

I retired in April of this year. For the first six months, I was at a loss about what my life should look like. A dear friend told me not to rush back into a job and to give myself time, and now I am so happy. Things have fallen into place. I am married and my husband is still working. We will have to cross that bridge when we come to it. Thank you for sharing your video.

The two best days in a boat owners life is the day they buy and the day they sell their boat. They are money pits. Think real hard before you become a boat owner.
I love my job, but when I retire in three years, I won't miss it. And, in six months my 38 years will be quickly forgotten. The work goes on.

I really appreciate your videos. I was blessed to retire at 49 but my only son was 11. I absolutely love being a paid stay-at-home mom. I just wanted to add something folks can do…volunteer. There are a million opportunities in our communities. I volunteer 1-2xs a week with our USO and another public service organization. Happy Retirement!!

Obamacare IS the ACA Marketplace that you purchased from. Medicaid is a welfare benefit for very low income people with few assets who are elderly of disabled, so it’s generally not an option for a retiree who has retirement accounts and/or pensions. You have to be practically destitute to get it. Medicare is the standard medical insurance for retirees but you have to be 65 to get it. Anyone retiring before 65 needs to figure something out for insurance before they become Medicare eligible. Generally the ACA Market place, Cobra, continuing employer insurance, and Christian bill share programs.

Great video, thank you. I agree with your points. I'm in the UK, age 70 and retired in May this year. I worked several jobs over the years from being age 15, so 55 years of working life! The last 10 in non clinical healthcare, i loved it for years, but it changed! So i decided enough is enough, i have my state pension and a private pension so i have funds. No debts. i own my home and car etc. Your life changes a lot in retirement, i miss the camaraderie, my colleagues, some i keep in touch with, we meet up, i miss the banter, and even the moaning!! . It can be lonely, i live alone. My daughters are grown up and my granddaughters are aged 18-28, 5 of them, all very successful in what they do. I see friends and my sister, we have lunches ,theatre etc but that sense of being productive, valued, and useful has gone. It doesn't feel like my "best life" as yet but it's early days i suppose. Take care x

Safest approach i feel to tackle it is to diversify investments. By spreading investments across different asset classes, like bonds, and international stocks, they can reduce the impact of a market meltdown. its important to seek the guidance of an expert

A good number of people discredit the effectiveness of financial advisors in exploring new markets, but over the past 10years I’ve had a financial advisor consistently restructure and diversify my portfolio/expenses and I’ve made over $1.2m in gains… might not be a lot but i'm financially secure.

There are a handful of experts in the field. I've experimented with a few over the past years, but I've stuck with 'Grace Adams Cook' for about five years now, and her performance has been consistently impressive. She’s quite known in her field, look-her up.

One guy talks about “buckets” and he has buckets for expenses. I think I’m going with a budget related to our income. And have our savings for the buckets. Will probably work a PT job for awhile. Adding to the bucket. Plan on having debts paid off. But that could change! I just like thinking about it.
