You know CM Punk draws when both companies book you at the same time.
"i'm hurt, i'm old, i'm tired, and i work with fucking children" - CM Punk
Ironic cause punk never grew up and has always been a man child with drama and its been well documented, alot of other wrestlers outside of aew still dont like him
@@pilot7350 Ironic, considering that those very people, like Randy Orton, have now nothing but nice things to say about him. Along with countless other reports clearly stating what a absolutely positive and great influence he is backstage at WWE. And meanwhile there are still a lot of Wrestlers in AEW, like House of Black, FTR, Samoa Joe and many others who never had any issues with him whatsoever.
You could almost think that CM Punk was never the problem in AEW to begin with. But rather a very specific group of people (The Elite) who never wanted him there and always did their absolute best to make his time there as miserable as they could.
Not really helped by the fact that they were also the reason why Cody left and why he's now THE guy in WWE drawing massive numbers when he could've been that in AEW instead.
I used to really like watching AEW a few years back when it started off and even in 2021 because it was just infinitely better then WWE at the time. But nobody in their right mind would possibly defend the shit that they and TK are doing today.
@@pilot7350 Name them all and I guarantee 90% of them are now cool with punk again. You're just a salty AEW fanboy. The footage proved CM Punk was telling the truth. The only people who don't like Punk are Gen Z Tony Khan Cheerleaders.
soooooooooooo true aew is a romper room!!!
@@MissElaineDumont I'm sure all those wrestlers still do not like CM Punk... WWE happens to run their company very professional and I'm sure they expect their wrestlers to behave accordingly.
So......this is pretty much what Punk said in last week's interview. So why is AEW scrubbing this off the intrawebs now?
Cause Punk used to be in AEW and was a big draw for them but after Punk left Tony Khan decided to act like an ex who's totally not but completely is upset their lover left them for the previous lover that said ex used to have or in this case Punk leaving AEW to return to WWE
because someone finally got it through to management it was a terrible idea to do this
This is not what Punk said. Punk threw a punch. He did not say this during his interview.
@@AwesomeCardGames It was a push. Then a standing guillotine. Don't comment on fights if you've never been in one.
@@AwesomeCardGames what punch? I think you need glasses man
It really had Vince’s post Montreal Screwjob “there’s a proud tradition in wrestling” promo vibes to me. Like, they (the company) thought they were gonna look like the babyfaces coming out of this. What we saw was a guy who didn’t want to be in the company anymore, who was their biggest star yet had to take public transit (in a foreign country) to the show, who was getting ready for his match and heard a little brat disrespect him in front of a world wide audience, who goes to the boss to try to sort it out the right way but his boss is a limp noodle that wants everyone to like him, then try to have a conversation with said brat only to be told “do something about it”. Well, he did something about it. Oh and he told the truth about the whole thing. Maybe the single biggest blunder of the last 20 years in pro wrestling?
Oh shit. The “Bret Screwed Bret” promo with Vince and his black eye 🤣 you’re right. Fast forward to now, AEW screwed AEW.
Explained it perfectly
It was more like the "butts in seats" thing from WCW back then, airing the results of Mankind becoming champion, thinking it's a joke only to have their audience switch the channel lol. Kinda like airing footage of one of your "future top stars" getting his ass handed to him. Oh. Yes. I'm sure that will fare perfectly well in a sport about fighting :D
Sometimes you're going to fuck around and find out and Jack Perry found out.
And Tony too
@@batmang9014 and lost the biggest draw in the company's history
I'm 63 years old, I've been watching wrestling since 1972. I watch this clip and said "so what? Denise I love your UA-cam channel I love you Saturday on busted open!
what? what are you trying to say here?

Thankyou for your wisdom og
Imagine if Brock would of thrown the title at Tony like he did to Vince lol
Tony would shit himself just looking at Lesnar.
Tony Woulda Put a Restraining Order out on Brock! 😂
If it was Brock not one person woulda stopped him . He woulda beat the shit outta them all
Now release the Brawl Out footage 😂 Cm Punk Ace Larry vs Omega and The Young Bucks now that’s ratings!!
Low key they might do that now. I wouldn't put it past them, unless they dont have video of it
Yeah
there is an NDA for that one, so not going to happen
Based on the jack video, its just gonna show them breaking larrys nose with the door and punk beating the shit out of them
It really ruined kayfabe as well. Like Joe just standing there before a match with Punk and helping separate a fight. Hook just standing there, Malakai Black of all people coming to calm Punk down. Talk about making wrestling look fake
For the young kids yes it ruins things for sure but for adults who love pro wrestling we already no what and how things happens and it jus makes things petty and tribal online for fans now and it’s unfortunate
@@charleslemon8777 Yeah I am an adult too and know that wrestling is scripted. But don't shove it into my face. Don't tell me if you saw a video of Roman and Cody backstage handing out prior to Mania it wouldn't ruin some of the moment. Joe is the world champ. He's not just a guy. They showed him protecting an opponent he was supposed to hate. That's silly
I totally get it for sure what your saying but both companies do it we got the behind the scenes for the Roman Cody match and how they made the decision with the rock and why they did all the other stuff we see on social media with wrestlers hanging out with each other or training together with guys who they supposedly hate on tv it’s sucks cause it’s not like it was when we were kids I remember the interview with hhh awhile back saying he never wanted wwe to air tough enough because it gave to much away to the fans
Bruh, they literally released a documentary about how they booked the build to Wrestlemania. Chill. Kayfabe been dead for the longest time already.
I think we're well past the point of Kayfabe being an issue lol. But it certainly doesn't help showing your "future top star" getting his ass handed to him.
Aew is not a real business - Cm Punk
Yup even more apparent after this
If you have a problem with Jack Perry, you're probably the problem - CM Punk

@@TDotRedemption You know you can just say the same about you AEW shills, right?
CM Punk changed his story about what happened. He’s all about lies and has been since before his first run in WWE.

The fans were chanting for CM Punk throughout and after the footage aired. They wound up putting CM Punk over and burying their business in one fell swoop.
You love to see it.
They proved punk point
It was exactly like what he said in his interview
Proved he was telling the truth about the fight, them not doing what's best for the company and Tony being a clown. This is the most effective Young Bucks segment of all time.
TK saying he felt threatened for his life when there were literal monitor between Punk and him as well as multiple people holding Punk is hilarious. Daddy must have paid the bullies to leave TK alone until now, he never felt fear before
Yep effective at tanking their ratings even further lol.
THANK YOU! With Punk being vilified by the AEW faithful, you really get the impression that none of them have ever been in a fight or even witnessed one. The outrage is laughable. The fact that punk was fired over this is idiotic. As it was said, this is JUST pro wrestling!!!
Also Will replying to HHH comments about the grind thing and talking about him and Stephanie.. SMH AEW just keeps burying itself
also we dont even know if trips really referring to will, it was all from peoples speculation. AEW is so fking childish dude
Pretty obvious it was about Will. But Will can't say grind when he can go back to UK every week when guys like Gunther and Rhea and more leave their home country and families when money isn't that big for them.
@@michaelsuezo Gunther even had to divorce his ex wife so that he can go chase his dream in America, and here Ospreay were acting like he done a lot
Gunther only left the UK once he got a divorce from his wife then moved to the states and rhea has lived in the states for awhile now will was having negotiations with a lot of companies before he signed with aew and said he didn’t want to move to the states cause he just bought his new home we’re he’s from with his family love he talked about it in an interview last year when his njpw deal was almost done
@@charleslemon8777 Nooo that's not negative enough, you have to make WWE the victims and AEW the villains in your opinion otherwise it doesn't align with Jim Cornette's opinions, and we can't have that can we?
Reg seems like a guy that will enjoy and watch anything
He enjoys what he enjoys, you're not superior to him.
Yet he ain't wrong.
My first thought was Punk was right! 😂 This made AEW look so bad but they and their fan base are too blind to realize it. The ship is sinking in front of our eyes.
Hell no because I just have another thought, they just help the drew and punk Feud more because drew can use this.
Punk can use it too
@@blablablaa14yeah but it will be better if drew use it more just because aew just provided that punk was right in that interview he did. So if he use it and the feud,he just basically saying what he said in that interview.
I just feel like people are done with the AEW throwing jabs at WWE. Its not helping anymore if it ever did. They aren't being cleaver about it or unique. They aren't focusing on themselves. You go from showing that video of a dude whose not there anymore, to having FTR defend that dude, to having Ospreay throw shots at HHH. You're not building any stories, you're making AEW look like TNA
Punk brought this on themselves. WWE has been taking lot of shot at AEW in WrestleMania weekend and they have every right to strike back. This is war declared by triple h and tony is showing he is ready. after this footage, i believe they should move away from punk and focus on their wrestlers. Those WWE crackhead forgot tony and his dad is way richer than TKO so welcome to wrestling war 2.0.
100% agree. And whenever people voice this they get accused of being E drones and it's so stupid. AEW have doing so many own goals when they could be growing and winning over more people.
@@MrPatarach what voices? Most of them are unreasonable criticism and calling for AEW to die. I have my own issues with TK but he is far better than Vince, Eric and even that triple h. I have no problem with people criticising his booking decisions but making fun of his mannerisms and calling for AEW to to die is not.
@@sarfarazhussain5411 well that's a given. I would never partake in that nonsense. But you do see even mild criticism on twitter swatted away accused of hate or bias and it's so tiresome.
@@MrPatarach i never did. If the criticism is towards how he books his shows and how he runs it, then its okay. But saying things AEW should do exactly like WWE basically calling for AEW to be carbon copy of wwe, which kills their claim to be a alternative. This company is five years old and there will be growing pains, things changed when triple h came to power and CM punk decoded to leave AEW that people who were supporting AEW, turned on them which shows they were never for the journey, they were bandwagoning. AEW made wrestling better and gave job security to people. WWE does shots at AEW then it's not problem but when AEW does, on it's a problem, it's like a written rule that no replying back to Triple H and his cohorts.
I think that it probably did pop a quick rating but that is the only upside. The show itself was pretty below average and a lot of it was about WWE (Ospreay's promo calling out HHH, the opener/main event being a mirror of Mania main event, and this whole thing) so I don't think it gave anyone new a good reason to watch next week. Meanwhile they signed themselves up for weeks of CM Punk chants, weeks of their company being clowned on social media, made Tony look like a bitch for being "scared for his life" from this, and in general made being an AEW fan more embarrassing. Last of all it managed to make Punk look somewhat competent in a real fight.
I agree man.. just petty and pathetic on the company. I haven't watched a full AEW show since MJF vs Omega, just clips here and there. Saw the Ospreay clip talking about the man of the 3 H's. Turned it right off
@@Eweezy8004 It's petty and pathetic from HHH then to question Will Osprey's commitment to the business and unfairly criticise him publicly just because he didn't sign with WWE..
@@ass640 If you weren't such a mark, you would see that AEW and Will are still the most petty ones here. Will Osprey is overpaid to not fill seats, and fly back and forth on company dime once or twice a week. HHH said years ago that he would be out on the road over 300 days in a year. If that upsets Will, that's on him. HHH said his comments professionally too.

Little boy getting Punk'd.... Go ahead and defend that 😂
Don't start something you can't finish.
When you were saying there should've been a corporate structure, the problem is that Tony Khan NEVER manned up & simply was a boss when he needed to be one. Had he done so earlier, we're having a completely different conversation.
My thing is, if he wants to be liked by everyone, then hire a hatchet man to give out reprimands, firings and handle beefs. Like, that’s business boss 101. Even Vince had Johnny Ace do that most of the time.
Look at the Miro issues...TK should either have him prove injuries or cut him. Instead, TK doesn't even know what continent Miro resides in right now.
Feel like they just shouldn't have brought it up up period and instead have it just be Bucks saying how they believe FTR is the reason for some of AEW'S problems. Punk Perry Elite stuff could've been forgotten by now after the interview Punk had but nope Tony Khan gotta involve it and act like an ex who's totally not but completely is upset over a lover leaving them. The Punk Perry stuff and Bucks talking about FTR in the same promo feel like 2 completely different promos
Exactly. All the fans keep talking about was how great Wrestlemania was and Tony wants to be part of the conversation. And the only way he can be part of it was from using Punk.
@@CulEdz SO WHAT????
Jungle Boy is the living example of “Fuck around and find out”. He’s lucky that shit got broken up so fast. If no one was there Punk would’ve whooped his ass.
I had a bigger fight than Jack and Punk had like a year ago with MY FRIEND! We are still friends and we are still over 40! Thats what happens in life sometimes, we had a heated argument and didnt talk to each other in months. Then we bumped into each other in a store, said Hi and didnt even talk about the argument because it wasnt important anymore.
Ive heard about bands almost breaking up and still playing the gig or tour without issues and even making another album! Ive heard about wrestlers hating each other with a passion, and still coming together when the booker said "Heres a pile of money to both of you IF you work together!!" and both are like "MMMMM MONEEEYYY!!!" and forget the issue! But Tony gives you the money upfront and you can just "Doesnt work for me brother"!
Brock throws a 40 pound title belt at Vince, Vince calls him an asshole and moves on. Punk points and yells at Tony, Tony fears for his life…
Because we started calling people who aren’t pro wrestlers, pro wrestlers
I've been watching wrestling starting in 1966. ⚡⚡
Aew is now copyright striking all the footage. There's a shocker. Ospreay really buried himself and the company last night. If the information is true that it was all Tony's idea, then it makes even more sense.
The problem is there’s to many people that think there voice matters even though they’ve done absolutely nothing in life besides be on a friends podcast
Punk was right!
How much goat throating do you have to do for CM Punk? Get off your hands and knees
@@TDotRedemptionNick Khan > Tony Khan. Hell Great O-Khan is greater than Tony Khanoki at this point. How does airing this footage benefit AEW? Waste of 10 minutes of TV time. Could have used those 10 minutes better for a match with Saraya or a promo from house of black.
@@DewlayLomo Or how about this, cry about it...
I can't wait for darkside of the rings "rise and fall of AEW", and when it happens TK will agree to do the interview but refuse to answer any questions.
If they should've shown it why did aew scrub it out of their own upload of the segment?
First of all, AEW should not have aired this footage on Dynamite. If you want to show it, do it on UA-cam or Twitter or just leak it. This didn't help the show at all, in fact it hurt the show very badly.
But people are missing the point. This video is not about two people having a fight, it's not a question of who was in the right or who was in the wrong. It's clear footage that contradicts some of Punk's story and others that show he completely lied. He says he didn't come for Tony Khan, you can see Tony's hand during the brawl and you can see Punk after being pulled away coming back and trying to lunge at TK while being held back by Jerry Lynn and Chris Hero.
That's the story. Like Punk, hate Punk, like AEW, hate AEW, like WWE, hate WWE, it doesn't matter. Punk lied, we saw that he lied (a lie by omission is still a lie). If he lied once, why wouldn't he have lied before?
If he really did fear for his life, then that's understandable. But a part of me is thinking he just said that to make the cm punk firing seem more reasonable to the fans.
The decision was in the hands of a committee headed by Bryan Danielson and it was Bryan who made the recommendation to drop Punk.
@@alexanderson2771 but Punk already had quit the company lol. He literally told Tony "I quit" during Brawl In
@@alexanderson2771 at this point that decision seems more like Bryan doing Punk a favour. He wanted out a year earlier
He was under contract so saying "I quit" doesn't get him off the hook.

Hoping FTR MAKES THIS WORK!!! Make some money off this. That was PRO WRESTLING. Now, make money off it. I like it
I was expecting this whole thing to be cap. No offense but these " journalist " who want to work with tony tip toe around him. Which is always funny to see them bend to fit that
Denise and your team, just a heads up AEW is throwing up copyright strikes. AEW on their own UA-cam channel isn't airing the footaged. Please be careful, love you and your content.
You know AEW messed up when their loyal fans who were hating on Punk are no longer hating on him.
It was pointless there’s no build up to a match. Punk and Jack Perry both aren’t in AEW anymore. It was cheap heat.
Great analysis guys
Denise is a boss...
"Lunge" means pointed at aggressively btw
You are forgetting important facts that lead to the “Brawl” backstage at Wembley.
*Back Story*
Jack Perry wanted to use real glass on a spot in his match, however, people near the situation, including Punk, had told Jack *no*, but Jack was extremely stubborn and still used it. Jack used a front windshield of a rental car, which Punk mentioned in his interview with Ariel Alewani. Punk was upset about it, Jack got in Punk’s face and was disrespectful to Punk.
That's the perception on X. They dirt sheets and melzer lied and made it much more than it was. I can definitely say AEW fans have never been in a fight. Growing up in the 80's and 90's I got in a lot of fights due to being bullied and racism. If a lost a fight I would get whooped by my mom at home and my mom had hands life a frying pan. I never lost a fight. This goes to show how much a sheltered life Tony Khan has had. Jack perry grew up the privileged child of luke perry. H e was probably a punk kid growing up and used to running his mouth with no consequence. When i grew up it you were gonna talk shit you had to back it up. This is pre social media where you had to say it to someone's face and stand ten toes down. Jack perry had no hands he should have kept his mouth shut.
You don't need "corporate structure" to prevent backstage shoot fights. You need a strong locker room leader, like Undertaker was for WWE.
Reg makes a very good point about the perspective of Tony Khan as a billionaire and the level of paranoia that probably comes with being wealthy to that level.
I can only imagine how they must question every relationship they have and the authenticity of them...
he said he feared for his life to defend himself in a potential lawsuit.. come on yall.
I give a solid 33 and 1/3%
You all are spot on. How many fights happen between teammates on a football team in practice?? Happens all the time.
Hey AEW.... "congratulations....you played yourself" ~ DJ Khaled
This is a classic case of the fuck around and find out diagram
i would much rather see the all out footage

This is entertaining tv
FTR had to pull things back with their promo that pretty much tried to move past and focus on the next PPV, meaning they had to OVERCOME tge decision to air this and get heat back on their feud with the bucks. Meanwhile, this decision almost certainly gave Drew more promo material for what is now the hottest feud in pro wrestling between him and Punk.
The fact you went into this thinking you thought you would be disgusted with CM Punk says alot Punk did nothing wrong and AEW keeps proving Punk was right the whole time
I think the video helped CM Punk more than anyone else.
I thought there was a big fight and Tony fired CM Punk to protect himself and his wrestlers. Do you remember all those CM Punk & Triple H videos everyone was posting online? Yes, I believed it. I thought CM Punk was this toxic SOB that no one wanted to work.
But then he signed with the WWE. I thought he was going to try to be on his best behavior because this was his last chance on the big stage in professional wrestling. In the back of my mind, I thought it was only a matter of time before he got into it with someone in the WWE locker room.
Then we got the Ariel Helwani interview.
I thought he was either telling the truth or downplaying what happened in London. When AEW announced they were going to show the footage, I thought this was going to make CM Punk look bad..... but it didn't.
My mind regarding Punk has changed and that there's a big problem with Tony Kahn. I'm sure a lot of people feel the same way after watching the video. They were just better off not showing the video and let people speculate as to what really happened in London.
I get what they're doing. Big throwback to The Monday Night Wars.
Also: I have been in way bigger fights in elementary school than what Punk did to Perry.
When someone literally as nice as Denise says it wasn’t that big of a deal, and that they shouldn’t have played the clip, you know you fucked up.
I'm the same age as Mania and have watched wrestling and attended indies as long as I can remember, but I thought this was so pointless and disappointing. And Ospreays promo as well. You're not neck and neck in the Monday night wars. Focus on your own product and growing it.
An underneath guy got smart with an established star fans love. And paid/is paying for it.
Short answer...no.
FTR and The Bucks did not need this clip to be aired to further their feud I think YB just wanted an excuse to air the clip - whether they thought it would bring in ratings or it's for other reasons, I don't know. Regardless, I don't Tony Khan should've allowed this to happen. It comes off as petty - especially since it's been 8 months. Time to let it go, what's done is done.
CM Punk said Perry bumped him, that was debunked. Punk said Perry provoked him, that was debunked, Perry’s hands were on his hips the whole time and never looked bothered. Punk said he only choked him and knocked some monitors, that was debunked. The man just attacked him and wouldn’t stop even when being restrained. Lastly the biggest thing he left out was lunging at his BOSS while still being restrained. I swear some of you need to be in a fight to actually judge what happened
The only one benefiting from all of this is Drew Mcintyire.
All Roads leads to Jack Perry being a member of the elite
Exactly Denise that’s how I feel. I will continue to support AEW. Could this turn into a bigger angle?
Tony not being a boss sitting everyone down making them talk is the problem!!! That is problem point blank!! He asked Tony to held it!!
Yeah just yesterday I saw a shouting match between two customers at work completely agree
Denise and Reg definitely grew up in real life and saw real actual fights. That was a dust up fam. Sometimes you just gotta scrap real quick
the point of showing it wasn't that Punk made it up or it was way worse. The point of this is to show that while Punk is supposed to be a "locker room leader", he was clearly the aggressor. Not okay. People put their idea of the Punk character on a pedestal so much so that they justify the toxic actions of the human Phil (an egomaniac)
Majority of these comments and the hosts are making light or justifying a grown man not being able to control his temper. Perry was lippy, Punk flewof the handle and has lied about the incident. In this video, Perry is not the agressor. Punk assaults him twice then chokes him. Doesnt matter if you expected it to tbe worse. Punk is pissed and attacked Perry while his hands were playing with his hair, even after the first lunge he had his hands Still around his hair.
Sad to read these comments condoning this. Guess words are as stronger than actions for most of you.
I realized that Tony Khan could be a sheltered billionaire with constant security around him, but that was more evident if this scuffle was something that put his "life was in danger"
Thanks for cutting the clip to the important part
I don’t have much sympathy for a billionaire’s son having no concept of truly fearing for their life.
Besides this the crowd was like a Monday night raw crowd from two years go they need to change up the towns they’re going to or something people just sitting on their hands. I’ve heard louder crowds from njpw during the pandemic
The 'Tony's a billionaire' thing misses the point. Vince McMahon was always rich too, but he grew up around the industry and knew what wild stuff can go down backstage when pumped-up guys butt heads - and for his many faults would ensure crap like this got squashed or would be ready to deal with the consequences. If Tony's not cut out to deal with the risk of that scenario, maybe he needs to put someone else there in his place who can?
I've seen bigger "fights" on the sidelines of football games between teammates. Not saying Punk wasn't in the wrong, just that it wasn't nearly as big as portrayed. I just thought it made TK look lame. If anyone watched Dynamite because of this that don't normally, i doubt it will have any long term impact on them continuing to watch. I am with Denise. It didn't make me want to see FTR/Bucks more than I already did.
Now im looking forward too the drew and punk segments💀
30 seconds into this video, told me everything I needed to know about this.
Tony Khan feared for his life when his audience were chanting CM Punk.
its kinda wild to hear to adults litterally compare his actions to literal children but then come to the conclusion that was Punk did wasn't that bad. Like actually baffling
Punk was definitely the aggressor. He struck first. It looks like he can't handle words.
It's never ok to put hands on someone period
Reg sounds like an AEW mark. Even the employees were disgusted
good points love this
"That was the most pro-wrestling thing I've ever seen in my entire life" was probably the most spot on thing said in this entire video. How can you possibly think that somebody just watching these Shows on TV, seeing this without spending hours and hours on the internet reading up on backstage stuff thought: "Wow, how brutal and terrible"? Especially considering how this was all presented in a worked storyline, how could the outcome possibly be anything but your "future top guy" getting his ass absolutely handed to him? Not only does this give one of THE top stars of your direct competition even more attention, it also portrays him like an absolute badass and your guy looks like a pushover.
Just think about all the stories about backstage fights in Wrestling. Like Batista fighting Jericho and Jericho winning the fight. Did anybody EVER hear that and think to themselves: "Wow, this Jericho guy is a Bully who assaulted a Coworker"?
Or did you think: "Damn, Jericho is badass for handing a guy like Batista his ass"?
This was just another "butts in seats"-moment and Shiavone knew it then an there. His reaction after the segment was over speaks volumes.
As Reg said, I personally think that AEW tries to make the most money out of the situation. They used the footage for storyline reasons. The heels open wounds of the past to have an excuse, while the babyfaces want to move forward and want to focus on building AEW up as the place "where the best wrestle". Furthermore, by reigniting the discussion about the incident, they are creating the best circumstances for a return of Jack Perry as the "scapegoat". Now everyone is talking about him. If done right, using this incident could lead to Jack Perry, who previously was just an athletic talent with no real character, to becoming a star.
Except they just showed Jack getting choked and unable to do anything about it until Joe broke it up. If I were Jack I’d be calling the Bucks like “why did y’all just show me getting handled on national television?”
@@derekdecker555 the incident was very short, jack didn't had any time to even react. Not many people could get out of a chokehold within a second when the attack is unexpected.
I think it is the start of a new storyline utilising the backstage incident. Emphasis on 'start'. Let's see how the story unfolds. Maybe they Screw it up. Maybe they make something great out of it. I am at least intrigued to see, what will happen in the next Shows.
@@GameGamblersLP It’s just that the optics are bad bud. Like, we all know kayfabe is dead but there is still the idea that these people are badasses. Wether or not Jack could’ve gotten out of that (looked pretty deep to me personally) it’s the optics of the thing. It’s gonna be hard for Jack to overcome that.
@derekdecker555 this could actually be beneficial, if they tell the story that the incident and becoming a scapegoat has completely transformed Jack from a victim (nice weak guy) to a cold blooded badass. Be aware that Jack has been absent in aew TV for months. Declaring the incident as the event that caused a transformative Character Change could make Jack perry into a intriguing character.
"im the boss, you are fired" .. if Tony Clown wanted to be a boss.. he should have been a boss before all this escalated.
Lol, dude, brock chucked a title at Vince and brock threatened to leave when Vince left. Goes to show Tony has no idea how to be a boss .
'I think Punk should have been fired he is clearly unhinged' while back in the day Mr Perfect was not fired for fighting Brock Lesner on a plane while drunk and almost busted the plane door open during the scuffle...or when Chris Jericho got in Brock's face to start a fight back in 2017....or when Chris Jericho got into it with Goldberg...and so on and so on 🙄
I mean, there's too many levels to this, and in all of them, both sides are in the wrong.
On one hand, there was history of backstage tension, and an NDA was even put in place. Punk shouldn't have returned, that was Khan's mistake. On the other hand, it's a 45 year old man getting baited by a snot nosed 25 year old... Come on. That can't be defended, it's more than unprofessional, it's sad...
But if we look more into it, he pushed Jack and there was no retaliation or even body language from Jack that indicates he was going to retaliate. Punk pushed and pursued. After they were separated, he turned to Khan with clearly aggressive body language. Is it too much for Khan to say he feared for his life? Yes. Is it unreasonable he was scared of an angry man more built than him moving towards him with aggression? No, most of us would get tense as well.
It just looks bad on both sides.
If Jack Perry was a Face I'd have more issue with it. But he was a heel and the story the public, Punk was a Face and it was a good way to get a little heat.
AEW will see the biggest quarter hr ratings drop in it's history following that clip
Denise still up editing clips? Hardest working in the game!
Not true at all. Completely false
Yeah I was so disappointed when I finally saw the video. There was literally a fight at my work last night between two dishwashers that lasted longer than the video that showed and was more violent since they were actually throwing plates at each other and now as far as I know neither of them are getting fired since they didn't get sent home early🤷
Reg has a really difficult time criticizing AEW. Which I get cause he has so many friends in the company, but its silly to say this was a good idea or even an okay idea
Yeah. I like Reg and he's loved it for years like myself but I can't see how anyone that isn't a teenager thinks this stuff is worth anyone's time.
@@MrPatarach How about this, not everyone has the same opinion as you... I'm around the same age as Reg and I see it exactly the same... you guys have a bias and you have loyalty to a particular billion dollar company, that's your problem. We're mature adults who just enjoy wrestling, you're not.
Or he just likes AEW, just like I do, and isn't obsessed with being overly negative and critical about it all the time. Maybe your opinion isn't paramount.
Your comment is totally passive aggressive.
@@ass640 I like aew as well. Dear lord take an opinion on the chin and don't be defensive. There's so many people rooting for aew. I criticised the shit out WWE for years and finally it's become watchable again. You can criticise and want the best. It's not negative. Loads of positives in aew. This just wasn't one of them.
@@ass640 jesus that's a depressingingly childish comment. I guess this is what happens when you engage with UA-cam comments. Hey like what you like. I just think this stuff is juvenile. If you don't, good for you. I still want AEW to thrive and I assure you I have no allegiance to WWE. I just like good wrestling and great stories no matter the company. Weird you're so upset by that.
I wouldnt have even called it a lunge.
