A few years ago Stray Kids did a performance that was Deadpool based and when Ryan Reynolds saw it he became a fan and tweeted about it and then BangChan (leader of Stray Kids) responded. They've been friends since and that's why the mv happened. Ryan and Hugh didn't get permission to do this they just did it because they wanted to. While there is a Stray Kids song on the soundtrack...it's not this song.
This song isn't on the sound track. They have one called SLASH on there. Ryan and Hugh are on this video as they are actual real friends of the boys, particularly BANG CHAN. You should probably also throw Chris Hemsworth into that mix. The boys have over 200 songs, with no misses.

Awesome song! Stray kids fandom are called Stay, hence the saying at the end of the video. Bang Chan (Chris) and Felix are both Australian, all the other members are Korean. The group writes and produces all of their songs, Bang Chan, Han and Changbin (the guy who can roll his R's) are known as 3Racha and have written many many songs together.

We call this support Armying. Army and BTS have walked hand in hand to the top. A Korean term for liking many groups is called Multi. The main dancer, Lee Know, used to be a backup dancer for BTS. They recognized him during one of the award shows and started cheering for him. It was so cute.
I'm glad you did Stray Kids. Not only are Stray Kids one of my all time favorite groups, but also, if you were unaware. One of them was actually a backup dancer for BTS when he was younger (before he became an idol). 3:45 they actually debuted with 9 members but one left a year and a half into their career and is now a soloist. You’ll see him in other mvs if you decide to react to anything from 2019 or earlier but Stray Kids don’t really want to be associated with him anymore (they re-recorded every single one of their songs to have an ot8 version which I’ve never seen another kpop group do but they have more control over their music as they write and produce 99% of it so)

Stray Kids are FIRE! As an ARMY they're one of the few other K-pop groups that I just couldn't escape.. Looking forward for more reactions from these guys! If you want some suggestions, I recommend ( God's Menu, Maniac, S-Class, MEGAVERSE, Back Door, Thunderous) They're all straight up fire! 💜💜💜

Love this performance. There's nothing wrong with checking out other idols. I love BTS but that doesn't mean that I can't appreciate great performers. Their fan base are known as Stays. I watched their God's Menu then Back Door, then I became a fan & I'm still one. BTS are the love of my life & rightly so. They deserve all the accolades that come their way. 💜💜 My love of great music isn't inside a box, I enjoy everything from classical, Mongolian Throat singers The Hu with Wolf Totem, Dimash who has a 7-8 octave range, Hua Chenyu (Hua is surname, Chinese put surname 1st then child's name 2nd) The world is made up of extraordinary performers. I am an Army but Stray Kids were my gateway group. I love them and my daughter is a hardcore Stay (stray kids fandom name). All of the members are Talented and they definitely respect BTS. One of them was actually a back up dancer for BTS. I’m glad you reacted to them and they have a HUGE library of music as well as their own Variety Show Skz code (similar to Run BTS).

Ryan Reynolds is a big fan of stray kids and has been for a few years now, and of course Stray Kids are big fans of his and the marvel movies as a whole, so this was a perfect collaboration for everyone involved. A little about the group. Stray Kids are a South Korean group consisting of 8 very talented men (they debuted in 2018 as a 9 man group, but one member left in late 2019, so some of their earlier videos will have the extra person in them). They have no set roles and each member can sing, dance and rap. They mix a lot of different genres in their music and are entirely self produced (writing, composing, arranging, producing their own music). The members are Bang Chan (the leader), Lee Know (was a backup dancer for BTS), Changbin, Hyunjin (my bias 🥰), Han, Felix, Seungmin, and I.N. (The maknae/youngest). You really can’t go wrong with any of their music, but some of their most iconic ones that I would recommend starting with are: Mountains “Stray Kids” Lalalalala Megaverse S-Class God’s Menu Thunderous Topline

I discovered BTS approx 4 years ago. So much I still haven’t watched or listened to yet. I didn’t want to get into another group but this song has made it to the top of my playlist and i can’t stop listening to it. I don’t have time to get into 2 groups the way I have with BTS. But I have listened to a few Stray songs. I’m the same as you, it took awhile to work out who everyone was in BTS. So far I only know Chan and Felix.
As a Kpop stan I understand how hard is to dive into several groups at the same time, and how much time it takes to dive just in one but so much art gets lots when you just focus on one group of people and not just music in general! It makes me a bit sad but it's understandable. Stray Kids actually debuted in 2018 with 9 members, one left for personal reasons in 2019, so they've been 8 since then. Two members were raised in Australia with English as a first language, one other member is fluent. They have a 3 member production/writing team with the unit name 3Racha, (a pun on the sauce sriracha, since sri sounds similar to 3 when pronounced in Korean, and its a little spicy). 3Racha was the original core of the group. They did several rap-based performances and released a mixtape as 3Racha while still trainees, and those three members are involved in the writing and production of almost all music released under the Stray Kids name, including a lot of unit releases and some solo or duo projects. Member Hyunjin has also been writing and doing some production the past few years as well, although he identifies primarily as a dancer and artist (he paints). The two main rappers (Han and Changbin) are part of 3Racha, as well as Chan (Australian name Christopher), the group leader. Every member of the group has writing credits, both for solo work and for group or unit songs. Most of them have about 15-20 credits, the 3Racha members each have over 120--the number keeps going up and is probably near 170 (or even over) for Chan by now, and maybe 130-140 each for Han and Changbin. Han was the youngest member to be inducted into the Korean copyright board--this depends on a combination of number of total copyrights and amount of money earned yearly from copyright sources. These guys are incredibly productive. They are also super collaborators, and Chan has the reputation of knowing every idol in Korea and most of the music professional--he's a super networker and apparently the three of them are great to work with. It helps that he is so fluent in English and Korean, which gives them a lot of options, and some of the members have some Japanese also. They've had some pretty good Japanese releases.
I have to correct a couple things. Han, Seungmin, Hyunjin, Felix and Chan are all fluent English speakers. Lee Know speaks some English (it's improved a lot in recent years) but he focused on becoming fluent in Japanese and I think he's learning Chinese now. Chan has over 200 writing credits, I think Changbin has close to 180 and Han has about 170. I'm not sure what the totals will be once their comeback drops. 😊
If you love their beats, you are in for a treat. Chan makes incredible beats. I highly suggest you check out the song they made just for the Deadpool and Wolverine soundtrack, "Slash." It is SO good. Their discography is so diverse but they definitely have their own style that is threaded through all of their stuff.
Hi, Stay here (Straykids fandom name) just to give you some info about Stray Kids (SKZ) They are an 8 member 4th generation boy group that are 100% self written and produced. They are all multi talented. They can all sing, rap and dance. Some specialise in certain areas such as 3racha: producing unit. Members consists of Bang Chan (leader) Han Jisung and Seo Changbin. Danceracha: dance unit. Consisting of Lee Felix, Hwang Hyunjin and Lee Know; and last but not least vocalracha: the main vocalists of the group Kim Seungmin and I.N. Their music is distinct and can only be described as Stray Kids music. Its Kpop yet outside of kpop too. They are more loud, experimental and are very rap heavy. Almost 6 years into the game and they've produced over 40+ genres of music. They have 300 songs now official and unreleased. Their title tracks are usually chaotic, loud and experimental which most Stays love myself included but their bsides show their versatility and vocal abilities. There are a lot of ArmyStays so it's cool you checked this out. From my experience a lot of people get hooked into kpop through BTS or Stray Kids. Stray Kids are very creative in their style. They completely self-produce (the song credits can be amusing because leader Bang Chan is listed for everything including the digital editing on some of them) and have always been experimental. They like to try every genre and mix them, and especially like to play with beats and concepts. They were made as an experiment from their company (JYP). The leader Bang Chan actually picked every member of the group and was left to do it all himself basically- then they had a survival show where Stray Kids had to prove to the company they deserved to debut. They got a lot of hate to begin with, but they never changed their sound for it they kept going determined one day the audience would be screaming for them. And they did. Their first big hit was a song called 'God's Menu' and when some people called it 'noise music' they came out with an album called Noisy/NoEasy. It's an attitude I very much love. They are completely dedicated to their art and their growth in skill and recognition has been wonderful to watch. I hope you keep exploring them. 😊

Chan (blue hair) and Felix (LONG blonde hair in this one) are actually both from Australia...so they have no problems with the "r"...or rolling it. It is difficult (not impossible, but difficult) for a Native Korean to truly use the R sound like an English speaker does, let alone to roll it like that. They do have a letter in the Korean alphabet that's similar, but it's not *quite* the same sound. Felix is my bias in Stray Kids, but Jimin will always be my Ult. (My youngest is a multi-stan, so I hear ALL the music...from ALL the groups. This is one of the many I actually love.)
Huh. The one rolling the r's is actually Changbin who is Korean. That's interesting about the r sound though. I'm JUST starting to learn the Korean alphabet so finding out things like this is kind of fun.

I think you would really like Stray Kids once you learn more about them, Chan the member who looked into ours souls and was talking about a truck hand picked each member of the group. He was put through the wringer as a trainee, tbh they all were though. He and two other member Han and Changbin, Han is who started the song and Changbin is who rolled the r’s, they write almost all of the groups songs. If they had it there way it would be all of their songs that they write though. I highly recommend their songs Venom, Maniac, LALALALA, and MEGAVERSE. Trust me when I say this group will not disappoint!
I just stumbled across this reaction and it's a good one. Stray Kids has a pretty extensive list of songs to go through so I hope you enjoy the rabbit hole. I used to be anti-kpop until I heard God's Menu and I've been a STAY ever since. It always makes me happy when I see shows and see all these artists supporting each other and it seems most of the groups have the same lesson of respecting other people and artists. Stray Kids and BTS do the same and I abide by it. I've seen some self-proclaimed army stating that if you like another group, you can't be ARMY and to them I'd like to say: if you're a true ARMY you'd follow the lessons your group teaches and be respectful. You know, BTS was also the first K-Pop group I liked (stan), but then came Stray Kids and they did not disappoint. Stray Kids became my favorite besides BTS. Now I'm a die hard STAY (Stray Kids fan). They have such versatile discography, and the best thing is they produce and write all of it. Also fun fact: Jungkook and Bang Chan (leader of Stray Kids) was seen hanging out together with another idol. They're both the same age.

I actually started listening from the backdoor via a hip hop group called LeeSSang. They were part of something called "The Movement" where hip hop and I believe some Soul singers did not want to be labeled as K-pop. Since you like SK, check out their boss, JYP (Park Jin Young). Awesome song! Stray kids fandom are called Stay, hence the saying at the end of the video. Bang Chan (Chris) and Felix are both Australian, all the other members are Korean. The group writes and produces all of their songs, Bang Chan, Han and Changbin (the guy who can roll his R's) are known as 3Racha and have written many many songs together.

I'm glad you did Stray Kids. Not only are Stray Kids one of my all time favorite groups, but also, if you were unaware. One of them was actually a backup dancer for BTS when he was younger (before he became an idol). There are actually fancams of him when he was a backup dancer 🤣 His name is Lee Minho but goes by Lee Know.
3:45 they actually debuted with 9 members but one left a year and a half into their career and is now a soloist. You’ll see him in other mvs if you decide to react to anything from 2019 or earlier but Stray Kids don’t really want to be associated with him anymore (they re-recorded every single one of their songs to have an ot8 version which I’ve never seen another kpop group do but they have more control over their music as they write and produce 99% of it so)

Stray Kids are FIRE! As an ARMY they're one of the few other K-pop groups that I just couldn't escape.. Looking forward for more reactions from these guys! If you want some suggestions, I recommend ( God's Menu, Maniac, S-Class, MEGAVERSE, Back Door, Thunderous) They're all straight up fire! 💜💜💜

One of the very few k-groups i regularly listen to outside of BTS, they’re so satisfying and scratch a very specific itch.

I am an Army but Stray Kids were my gateway group. I love them and my daughter is a hardcore Stay (stray kids fandom name). All of the members are Talented and they definitely respect BTS. One of them was actually a back up dancer for BTS. I’m glad you reacted to them and they have a HUGE library of music as well as their own Variety Show Skz code (similar to Run BTS).
This was fun! I've hesitated to really try to focus on other groups, because I can barely afford my BTS merch. But Felix has always had my eye, so I've enjoyed reacting along with you on this one!

I really enjoyed your reaction. Thanks for showing our boys some love. Ryan Reynolds is a big fan of stray kids and has been for a few years now, and of course Stray Kids are big fans of his and the marvel movies as a whole, so this was a perfect collaboration for everyone involved.
A little about the group. Stray Kids are a South Korean group consisting of 8 very talented men (they debuted in 2018 as a 9 man group, but one member left in late 2019, so some of their earlier videos will have the extra person in them).
They have no set roles and each member can sing, dance and rap. They mix a lot of different genres in their music and are entirely self produced (writing, composing, arranging, producing their own music).
The members are Bang Chan (the leader), Lee Know (was a backup dancer for BTS), Changbin, Hyunjin (my bias 🥰), Han, Felix, Seungmin, and I.N. (The maknae/youngest).

I discovered BTS approx 4 years ago. So much I still haven’t watched or listened to yet. I didn’t want to get into another group but this song has made it to the top of my playlist and i can’t stop listening to it.
I don’t have time to get into 2 groups the way I have with BTS. But I have listened to a few Stray songs.

As a Kpop stan I understand how hard is to dive into several groups at the same time, and how much time it takes to dive just in one but so much art gets lots when you just focus on one group of people and not just music in general! It makes me a bit sad but it's understandable.

Stray Kids actually debuted in 2018 with 9 members, one left for personal reasons in 2019, so they've been 8 since then. Two members were raised in Australia with English as a first language, one other member is fluent.
They have a 3 member production/writing team with the unit name 3Racha, (a pun on the sauce sriracha, since sri sounds similar to 3 when pronounced in Korean, and its a little spicy). 3Racha was the original core of the group. They did several rap-based performances and released a mixtape as 3Racha while still trainees, and those three members are involved in the writing and production of almost all music released under the Stray Kids name, including a lot of unit releases and some solo or duo projects. Member Hyunjin has also been writing and doing some production the past few years as well, although he identifies primarily as a dancer and artist (he paints).
The two main rappers (Han and Changbin) are part of 3Racha, as well as Chan (Australian name Christopher), the group leader. Every member of the group has writing credits, both for solo work and for group or unit songs. Most of them have about 15-20 credits, the 3Racha members each have over 120--the number keeps going up and is probably near 170 (or even over) for Chan by now, and maybe 130-140 each for Han and Changbin. Han was the youngest member to be inducted into the Korean copyright board--this depends on a combination of number of total copyrights and amount of money earned yearly from copyright sources. These guys are incredibly productive. They are also super collaborators, and Chan has the reputation of knowing every idol in Korea and most of the music professional--he's a super networker and apparently the three of them are great to work with. It helps that he is so fluent in English and Korean, which gives them a lot of options, and some of the members have some Japanese also. They've had some pretty good Japanese releases.
I have to correct a couple things. Han, Seungmin, Hyunjin, Felix and Chan are all fluent English speakers. Lee Know speaks some English (it's improved a lot in recent years) but he focused on becoming fluent in Japanese and I think he's learning Chinese now.
Chan has over 200 writing credits, I think Changbin has close to 180 and Han has about 170. I'm not sure what the totals will be once their comeback drops. 😊

If you love their beats, you are in for a treat. Chan makes incredible beats. I highly suggest you check out the song they made just for the Deadpool and Wolverine soundtrack, "Slash." It is SO good. Their discography is so diverse but they definitely have their own style that is threaded through all of their stuff.

Hi, Stay here (Straykids fandom name) just to give you some info about Stray Kids (SKZ) They are an 8 member 4th generation boy group that are 100% self written and produced. They are all multi talented. They can all sing, rap and dance. Some specialise in certain areas such as 3racha: producing unit. Members consists of Bang Chan (leader) Han Jisung and Seo Changbin. Danceracha: dance unit. Consisting of Lee Felix, Hwang Hyunjin and Lee Know; and last but not least vocalracha: the main vocalists of the group Kim Seungmin and I.N.
Their music is distinct and can only be described as Stray Kids music. Its Kpop yet outside of kpop too. They are more loud, experimental and are very rap heavy. Almost 6 years into the game and they've produced over 40+ genres of music. They have 300 songs now official and unreleased. Their title tracks are usually chaotic, loud and experimental which most Stays love myself included but their bsides show their versatility and vocal abilities. They have a lot of really beautiful ballads too.

Stray Kids were my first pop concert although BTS got me into Kpop and remains my first love. They are so fun to watch and I love their music. They have a distinct style.

There are a lot of ArmyStays so it's cool you checked this out. From my experience a lot of people get hooked into kpop through BTS or Stray Kids. Stray Kids are very creative in their style. They completely self-produce (the song credits can be amusing because leader Bang Chan is listed for everything including the digital editing on some of them) and have always been experimental. They like to try every genre and mix them, and especially like to play with beats and concepts. They were made as an experiment from their company (JYP). The leader Bang Chan actually picked every member of the group and was left to do it all himself basically- then they had a survival show where Stray Kids had to prove to the company they deserved to debut. They got a lot of hate to begin with, but they never changed their sound for it they kept going determined one day the audience would be screaming for them. And they did. Their first big hit was a song called 'God's Menu' and when some people called it 'noise music' they came out with an album called Noisy/NoEasy. It's an attitude I very much love. They are completely dedicated to their art and their growth in skill and recognition has been wonderful to watch. I hope you keep exploring them. 😊

Chan (blue hair) and Felix (LONG blonde hair in this one) are actually both from Australia...so they have no problems with the "r"...or rolling it.
It is difficult (not impossible, but difficult) for a Native Korean to truly use the R sound like an English speaker does, let alone to roll it like that.
They do have a letter in the Korean alphabet that's similar, but it's not *quite* the same sound.
Felix is my bias in Stray Kids, but Jimin will always be my Ult.
(My youngest is a multi-stan, so I hear ALL the music...from ALL the groups. This is one of the many I actually love.)
Huh. The one rolling the r's is actually Changbin who is Korean. That's interesting about the r sound though. I'm JUST starting to learn the Korean alphabet so finding out things like this is kind of fun.

This video was shot in New York, when shooting on the streets, they had to do it silently, they listened the music through their IEM, so it's very challenging.
I think you would really like Stray Kids once you learn more about them, Chan the member who looked into ours souls and was talking about a truck hand picked each member of the group. He was put through the wringer as a trainee, tbh they all were though. He and two other member Han and Changbin, Han is who started the song and Changbin is who rolled the r’s, they write almost all of the groups songs. If they had it there way it would be all of their songs that they write though. I highly recommend their songs Venom, Maniac, LALALALA, and MEGAVERSE. Trust me when I say this group will not disappoint!

I used to be anti-kpop until I heard God's Menu and I've been a STAY ever since.
It always makes me happy when I see shows and see all these artists supporting each other and it seems most of the groups have the same lesson of respecting other people and artists. Stray Kids and BTS do the same and I abide by it. I've seen some self-proclaimed army stating that if you like another group, you can't be ARMY and to them I'd like to say: if you're a true ARMY you'd follow the lessons your group teaches and be respectful. Skz are vocal about looking up to BTS. So I politely request the haters stop making the fandom look bad, don't embarrass your idols.

You know, BTS was also the first K-Pop group I liked (stan), but then came Stray Kids and they did not disappoint. Stray Kids became my favorite besides BTS. Now I'm a die hard STAY (Stray Kids fan). They have such versatile discography, and the best thing is they produce and write all of it.
Also fun fact: Jungkook and Bang Chan (leader of Stray Kids) was seen hanging out together with another idol. They're both the same age.

I actually started listening from the backdoor via a hip hop group called LeeSSang. They were part of something called "The Movement" where hip hop and I believe some Soul singers did not want to be labeled as K-pop. Since you like SK, check out their boss, JYP (Park Jin Young). "You're the One" is a good song. Don't sleep the groups not releasing or officially disbanded like Big Bang, Wonder Girls (also JYP), 2nE1, etc.. Peace
Slash by StrayKids made it to the Deadpool & Wolverine Soundtrack while Chk Chk Boom had them as a cameo appearance without Marvel knowing about (according to Ryan Reynolds). Ryan Reynolds wanted StrayKids in D3 (Deadpool & Wolverine), but due to last years strike and schedule conflicts it didn’t happen.
