Well it’s about time I finally check out Stray Kids! I love their style already and feel like they have so much talent and expression that I can see myself just fully diving into everything from them. I’ve had all of these on repeat and going back, especially when editing this, I definitely looked at the lyrics more as during a first watch it’s hard to catch every aspect of the project and I just need to commend them on the writing specifically in 'Hellevator' because I didn’t speak nearly enough about it. That setting the tone of their lyricism makes me excited to hear especially b-sides and see behind the scenes content. Can’t wait to get into more from them and let me know where I should start or any suggestions in general for a new fan! As always thanks so much for taking the time to watch and I hope you stick around for more(:
To me, all their songs are timeless and relevant for almost 7 years now. This was an important reason why I felt a connection with this group. It just never goes out of syle.
Since you've watched Maniac, I'll make a suggestion--goback and pick up the Oddinary trailer. It's about 3 minutes and 30 seconds of movie--it will give you a sense of what's happening in Maniac. You don't have to react to it, you can do it on your own to get a feel for the concept.
So glad you took notice of their meaningful lyrics! I find that the tone they set in the writing of this "debut" Hellevator is so indicative of the sincerity and passion they pour into their craft to this day
The group was NOT created through a survival show (as it says on the article) ... Chan created Stray Kids, and then JYP put them through a survival show to see if they were good enough to debut. Hellevator was written during this show to show their writing and producing ability
@@dre____ they literally did the same thing that made twice popular at the beginning, after sixteen, of eliminating very popular members and bringing them back at the last moment cause they were “necessary to make the group a unit”. They were 9, just like the twice members which means they were always meant to be 9 from the beginning so they were a male, self produced version of them.
ChkChk Boom is not the Deadpool soundtrack song. The song on the soundtrack is called Slash. Ryan haa been a huge fan of Stray Kids for years now and he's friends with Chris (BangChan) he just really wanted to collab. Ryan wanted them to have a cameo in the movie but just didn't work out. SKZ did a Deadpool themed performance on Kingdom and Ryan saw it and has been a big fan since.
Judging by this first reaction, you should absolutely check out their recording behinds for their title and album. Since their songs are mostly self-produced through 3racha (Chan, Changbin, Han) it’s a treat watching their vocal direction on top of the members vocal/rap skills. ❤
"i'm distracted by the crop top, sorry" oh girl, we ALL know. bang chan decided sometime in the last couple years that he really hates tucked-in shirts, so he asked the stylists to just crop everything, and we have been LIVING ever since lmfaooooo XD
Slash (which appears on the Deadpool soundtrack) was written by 3RACHA and their producer friend Versachoi. Versachoi is the unofficial fourth member of 3RACHA (you said that correctly). He is a JYPE producer and same age as Bang Chan. Stray Kids are such a fun group musically and through their content. They have an incredibly diverse discography and get incredibly introspective and vulnerable outside of their amazing hype tracks. If you are leaning towards HAN, get ready for the most emotionally devastating music. Our little emo rocker boy is known for his lyricism and sentimentality. Also you are 100% correct that the kids are pure chaos. They live up to their name. Thunderous is one of my personal favorite title tracks for it's use of traditional Korean influences (especially for its use of Pansori and the fact the Korean title "Sorikkun" is both the word for a traditional singer and one who has mastered sound). Case 143 is their unconventional take on a love song (similar aesthetic flair to Maniac) but takes on more of the chaos of the mind and heart's conflict when starting to develop feelings with a cops and robbers motif. LALALALA (Rock) is one of their most visually overwhelming M/Vs and uses a lot of references to popular films and the Chinese proverb "xi nu ai le" (喜怒哀樂), which translates to joy, anger, sadness, and pleasure. Their most well-known title tracks are God's Menu Back Door, and Miroh. Miroh was their first music show win but God's Menu was their turning point as a team, as it was a major viral hit and created what would become their "malatang" genre title. To get a sense of the emotional lyricism and vocal prowess, I'd say b-sides like Secret Secret (written by Han) and Cover Me (written by Hyunjin and Bang Chan) as well as their Japanese song "Scars" (I'd recommend watching both the m/v and The First Take version as you can also hear their live vocals). SKZ, Ateez, and NCT are all close friends so I definitely think if you like both Ateez and NCT, you are going to enjoy Stray Kids. They are a sweet group of dorks who just really love music, each other, and Stays (and anime). They love what they do so much that they just renewed their contract ahead of schedule (wasn't going to expire until next year) so we get even more time with them. Welcome to Stayville! Fun Fact: Ryan Reynolds and Bang Chan have been online friends since 2021 after Stray Kids did a Deadpool-themed performance of Blackpink's Dudududu. Ryan has been a huge fan since and his film company, Maximum Effort, has made several "fan edits" for Bang Chan and the kids.
as a han bias it's always so lovely seeing people compliment his rapping and lyricism ^_^ i'd love to see you dive deeper into their stuff! i'd have a long list of recommendations but i don't want to overwhelm you lmao
I LOVE THISS. My biases are Changbin & Seungmin, such underrated idols. I totally recommend checking out the MV's "Venom", "Mountains", and "Lose my Breath", one of the songs where you really get to hear every members vocals
@@nicoleliberty6844it’s not live i’m pretty sure they recorded it in studio and lip synched in the vid, it sounds like it has production /autotune in that recording imo
Based on this video alone, I think you will love 3racha a lottt. HAN is a musical genius and the ace of the aces. He is one of the main rappers; he can sing like the main vocalist, and he can produce. You will not regret stanning them. 8 of them are all really talented. Yes, please react to the guide.
Wow! This is the first time I've seen your video. I love your reaction and the way you notice details! I can't wait to see the next reactions to these amazing guys. ❤
Since you said that the piano is your favorite musical instrument, I strongly advise you to listen to "I hate to admit" by bangchan and "Twilight"and"1,2,3,,4,5" by Han "Long for you" by hyunjin and"streetlight"by changbin and"close" by Han Thank you for the reaction 💕💕
Well I think a good one to listen to is Secret Secret, Skz is known for high energy "noisy music", but they can do emotional ballads too! I personally also love, Side Effects, LALALALA (La4) & Levanter.
I am also Minsung biased 😁 Han and Lino are like 2 in 1 deal 😂 I used to be Lee Know biased but as I was trying to know him better Hannie was with him in almost all the videos so I fell for him too 😂
Love how you can enjoy the uniqueness of each of these guys and how versatile they can be. Hyunjin is my bias and i absolutely love his dancing and during live performances he is so much more intense. His stage presence is a whole other level. You are right about changbin as well he does have a very strong stage presence as well. Honestly they all are strong performers and their live performances never disappoint. I.N has a very beautiful distinctive voice so they use him to harmonize a lot because his voice can hold its own and won't be lost in the mix. They are all so talented! Wait until you get into their personalities and how chaotic they are. Han is hilarious and he seems you be pretty close to being your bias so far.
Things they excel at... everything, lol. But fr every time you would say something that stood out to you, the lyrics, the hook, the mv visuals, the switchups, the vocals, raps, choreo, etc. I would be like yeah skz excel at that. Their title tracks draw you in with such a variety of sound and styles but all with a SKZ signature to them. But, for me, the B sides are just as amazing. And the group themselves are pure chaotic fun, and they are family too, which really cements my love for them. I love seeing someone newly discover them, subscribing for your journey down the rabbit hole. edit: Forgot to mention, I feel like you would really like "Backdoor" second edit: not sure if anyone has already said this but "Chk Chk Boom" isn't for the Deadpool movie but they do have a song on the movie soundtrack that they just released, "Slash."
I love I.N’s unique voice too! (The singer you liked in maniac) He actually LOVES trot music and has been on a few Korean singing shows like masked singer and other trot showcase shows! Enjoy the journey stray kids are lots of fun to enjoy :)
I'm a month late, but I'm not sure if anyones mentioned but Hellavator was actually their first "mission" in the survival show, they had to make their own song and perform it in front of JYP. Chan was already producing music then, and he had the track ready (among others), they chose which one they liked and then made the lyrics on the episode :)
Their lore has to do with alternate timelines and referenced by elevators, keys, and compasses. One of my favorites is Social Path. The dark concept and the featured artist's voice just makes my heart race.
I loved your reaction! I think you really would love their song Scars, it's on their Japan UA-cam channel, and other songs are Youtiful, Cover Me, and Lonely St. Hellevator was actually their Pre-debut song they made that song while they was on their survival show, their actually debut song was District 9.
I really enjoyed watching this, welcome to the rabbit hole that is discovering SKZ😂 Also, thank you for appreciating all their voices, especially I.N's; you're right. His voice is so unique and special(Chan said it was what made him choose I.N). Lol it's also what gave him away when he went on the masked singer show recently. Stays clocked it was him instantly though just from his posture and then he sang which confirmed it. He's improved so much since debut and we love to see it. 44:44 It's Chan you were referring to although Leeknow has an amazing voice too, I also love Channie's voice I think you'll love their b-sides and unit/solo stuff but take your time bc it's a lot. They're very prolific, I'm pretty sure 3racha still don't get enough sleep❤
Don't be afraid of the Stay fandom, they are mostly kind, giving and welcoming, not to mention, many are great support if anyone is having problems. Bang Chan established an amateur therapy in the beginning of his interactions with the Stays, who have taken his insights and kindness to heart and pay it forward in our dealings with one and other. Cruelty and discord are signs of those not true to Staydom or the inclusivity of SKZ that are displayed every day. So, welcome to Stayville, the Lee-bit hole is deep, but a fun and meaningful ride.
I absolutely LOVE I.N’s voice so it was so nice to hear you talk about it as well! It’s so unique and his parts in songs are almost always my favorite because they just have such a catchy sound to them. I can’t wait to see more skz reactions from you
Oh I love watching new people discover Stray Kids, and this was honestly a joy to watch! Thank you for taking the time to watch these videos so carefully, and for pointing out so many things that you liked about them. I'm a bit late, but in terms of recommendations I'd definitely recommend listening to their albums in order. As a self-produced group, you can really hear how they developed their sound in each album. Each album also has an 'Intro' where SKZ talk about how they wrote each track, often with clips from their recording sessions or dance practices. If you are interested in music production and photography, those are super interesting! And yep, they have a lot of variety shows! Stays are never lacking in content to watch. To have fun with them and watch them be chaotic, try SKZ Code. If you want to know more about the kids individually and together, try Two Kids Room. And if you feel like crying, I know we'd all love to (re)watch the survival show with you on Patreon! Can't wait to see you react more, and thanks again for a wonderful reaction! Welcome to Stayville!
This was great to watch! Can tell you really know your stuff and aren't just talking to fill up space. Excited to see where the SKZ journey takes you, it's such a great ride!
I suggest the long 2024 guide for our boys and maybe think about watching their discography from the beginning you can see their growth and it is an amazing journey as their songs tell their story. Lyrics have so much meaning. They cover over 40 genres. I loved your reaction , can’t wait to watch your journey. Also the making of and behind the scenes and talkers, really all their content is great
Thank you! Yes, Stray Kids is a beautiful, crazy, chaotic, incredible rabbit hole to fall into. You will never really have to ask for recommendations when it comes to Stays, lol, believe me. So, on that note, here are a few of my favorites/pivtol/strongest (for different members) songs to check out: Solos: Bang Chan: Hate to Admit Lee Know: Limbo and his cover of Love Me or Leave Me Changbin: Doodle (fair warning, it is an odd sounding song that can be kind of polarizing at first but gets better the more you listen to it) his feat. in Mirror, Mirror with F. Hero and Milli has one of his best raps ever, Streetlight is a powerful, beautiful song (make sure you find the video with the subtitles) Hyunjin: Love Untold Han: (oh boy, there are SO many--this man is a lyrical genius) Volcano, I Got It, Alien (watch the video someone animated, it is beautiful), 13 Felix: Deep End Seungmin: His cover of Love Peom he did for his "show" "Song by" and any of his OSTs (Destiny and Here Always are my favs) I.N.: Memory of Your Scent (the others are covers in which I could not find an English translation for but if you look under SKZ Record more will come up) Group/unit songs to check out: Thunderous, God's Menu of course, Easy, Neverending Story, Gone Away, Jjam, My Pace, Waiting For Us, Backdoor, Circus, Levanter, Christmas Evel, Scars, Slump, Double Knot......
Once you fall into Stray Kids, you can't get back out! Welcome to the family Kailee haha!! Loved your reaction and insight to the music! I am a Han bias so I get your reaction to him perfectly
I'm happy when people appreciate 3racha ) when I first got into SKZ Han blew me away with his rap and vocal skills. then I realized that he's a really great performer and a songwriter on top of that! he's considered an ACE for a reason
Since you wondered about storyline, they do have lore. And it starts with Hellevator, where we're introduced to the elevator, the lavender fields and the city in the sky, which all turn up several times. Maniac also starts with the city in the sky. They have a main storyline, their Japanese storyline, which branched off their main storyline, and their 'mixtape storyline', which involves just a handful of videos, but where some aspects of the members' main storyline characteristics reflect what they do in this storyline.
I used to watch you a lot when I was deep into NCT a couple years ago... when I started to stan other groups and fell out of the NCT loop I stopped watching you. Then SKZ became my ult and I came to see if you had any reactions to them since you had been one of my top fav reactors, but sadly you had not. I am so excited and happy to see you again and that you are checking my new ult group! I can't wait to see more of these reactions. I love your reactions. Thank you so much 🖤🖤
Also, stray is do have a storyline to their music videos. I’m pretty sure one of them is the big bad but I still don’t know who and I’ve been here for so long. but it’ll be pretty obvious if the music video is connecting to another one because they leave little hints and then their other music videos aren’t connecting. They just have really deep meetings if you ever choose to really look at the lyrics and analyze it.❤
Since you like piano a lot, these are two stray kids songs that I know have beautiful background piano in them: 1. Deep end (solo song by felix) 2. Twilight (song on their recent album)
I would add "I hate to admit" (solo song by Bangchan) and "Slash" that has ITS moments and give all the tension the song needs and "Butterflies" that cute one also has a charming piano and "DLC" I love the piano in this one, Youtiful also has a pretty piano, Limbo (solo song by Lee Know) Stars and Raindrops (solo song by Seungmin) there are so many beautiful ones... Twilight is my weakness in this moment...
I am glad you enjoyed them. I look forward to you doing more. Skz is so fun. They have like 200 songs and they are all different and full of complex lyrics and Easter eggs everywhere. Some of my random favorite songs are Slump, Thunderous, Easy, My Pace, Side Effects, Miroh,, Comflex and then their subunit songs 3racha, Red Lights, Taste, Up All Night, Maknae on Top... Han has an individual song called Volcano that I am in love with. It's all good. All of it. It's amazing how they can make you like drill and trap rap one minute and a rock ballad the next. They are a ride through genres but still so true to themselves. They hype you up and almost make you cry and feel everything in between. I am in my 40s and I have gone through lots of musical phases in my life and Stray Kids takes the cake. All time favorite for life.❤
Haha Stray Kids are called Stray Kids for a reason!! They do things differently 😆 So fun to follow your first look into them and get your music production perspective too! (I'm a photographer as well so reacting to SKZ is always a feast for the eyes as well lol) And you immediately claiming Han as your fav is amazing 🤣 I loved you onsessing over Chk Chk Boom too - somehow Stray Kids always managers to reinvent and do new things! As if you didnt have enough to focus on already, but I would also highly recommend reading the lyrics for their songs as it's one my favorite parts of their music! Would love to hear your thoughts on them! Also recommendations!: Definitely a guide (in which you will hear snippets of a lot of different songs you'll want to listen to xD Chandora's World complete 2024 guide is great), but after that Thunderous, LALALALA, Easy, Domino (no mv but a short unveil video), and Venom 💕 Subbed + excited to be on this journey with you!
I love your reaction. Seungmin ult biased here! 😂 Maniac and Chk Chk Boom are sadly the two title tracks where he has the least lines 😂😅 Seungmin is def our best singer here, so I'm waiting for your next reaction to discover more of their singing side. (And trust me I understand with your Han reaction. He was the first member I noticed and remains as my second bias for more than 2 years already). Also while I say best, we really have 5 totally absurdly singers in this group (Chan, Lee Know, Han, Seungmin and I.N), but all of them can sing very well. They just all focus on something different. For example Chan and Changbin mostly love making songs. Han as well, tho he also said he gets obsessed with singing lately. Hyunjin is dancing day and night. Felix does it all when he is not losing at online games. Seungmin, I.N and Lee Know are going to vocal training at night all the time and never stop trying to better their singing.
honestly your pronunciation is spot on, it kinda surprised me at first lmaoooo no worries!! welcome~ also you're friends with new chapter reactions? i'm in 😎 i love them lmaoooo there are A LOT of contents when it comes to SKZ so you can get through it slowly but sure, take your time! it can easily be overwhelming at first but believe me it's worth all the time you put in 😌
I wanna recommend my favourite title track of them: LALALALA there is even a little short documentary (only 9 minutes) about the music video where the directors, stray kids and many more talk about the story
Stray Kids acually debuted with distict 9. Hellevator was the first song and it was made in the survivalshow. They do have a storyline in the musicvideos but it starts officially in district 9. But they also have 3 different storylines so it is a littlebit confusing to watch all of them. But i hope you like the music. (I am so sorry for my englisch, it is not my first language)
Loved your reaction can't wait for you to start the journey, also I'm impressed by how fast you got all of their names and faces down. I'm a Hyunjin bias (Lee Know wrecker) but these guys have it all, every single one of them is so talented and unique that you can't help falling for them and as you also noticed they all can sing and rap and honestly you can never guess who's gonna do what on a new track.
New viewer here, I absolutely love your vibes, the way you already notice so many details and aspects I love about Stray Kids too😊 Also, your way of pausing and rewinding the videos to stay on track when you've made a comment is so smooth, it's really fun to watch!!
Love this!! I would honestly recommend going through their MVs in order, I'm pretty sure the Stray Kids channel has a playlist. That will give you an idea of their styles and growth and there will be a TON of other tracks to dive into based on which MVs you end up liking most.
omg finally!!! i am so happy you're starting to react to Stray Kids too 😍 Ateez, Seventeen and Stray Kids are my favourites and now you react to them all
I have a couple of SKZ recommendations of my own, what I call the "dark ambient/beat" songs 3rd Eye, Tortoise and the Hare, Maze of Memories, Levanter and DLMLU. A small collection of the darker tone and ambient sounding songs of theirs, some of which usually go unlooked. Glad you like them!
I loved your reaction! Apparently Han caught your attention (I'm Han biased too), I hope that in the future you can introduce yourself to his solo work! He loves making songs in his own style (outside of skz's style), genuinely the standard for an idol, a person who loves his job more than anyone else! I hope you continue reacting and getting to know all the members more ❤️
Thank you! I like how you recognized Hyunjin’s unique voice he has such a soft beautiful angelic voice you can listen to his song ”long for you” and ”hey you” written and composed by him..he also amazing rapper you can listen to his rap parts in mountains for example they are fire.. and i also like how you recognized his visuals and dance skills Hyunjin is such a gorgeous guy and lovely person he is a main professional dancer in the group and dance goreographer you can watch his selfchoreograohed dance cover to ”Play With Fire” and he has an amazing LEGENDARY dance performance AOTM cover Motley crue. Hyunjin is so passionated dancer with amazing face expressions and many years expierences and hardworking as a dancer .
I'm so glad that you like them! I.N has the unique silky beautiful style yes! If you want to hear more songs with him as the center you can try Maknae on Top is a very fun song with M/V and has a lot of easter eggs from his lore as the maknae of Stray Kids, but you can still enjoy it a lot, another song with him and Seungmin is "Can't Stop" it doesn't have M/V but is a really cheerful one and the harmony! I'm so bias on skz, to me all their songs are excellent so I can't recomend only one song, in photographic value all are good but I recomend Case 143, S class and God's Menu... and Levanter and Lalalala and side effect and Chill... anyway... welcome to Stray Kids MEGAVERSE!
Stray Kids was a 9 members group but one of them named Woojin had to leave due to personal issues not starting from Levanter to Chk chk boom including Maniac they're now 8 members
Since you like the visual aspect of the mvs, I think you'll like "LALALALA"! The mv is particularly nice, I think. Other mvs with nice visuals can be 'Thunderous', 'Case 143', or 'Scars' (a japanese release) for example. ^^
Welcome to Stayville Ryan has been friends with Chan ( the leader of Straykids) since 2021 , They've been really close friends exchanging gifts and complementing each other. The funny thing is that marvel dosen't know about this collab. Both Ryan and Hugh willing decided to cameo on the M/V because they both love Straykids so much. Fast forward to now, both Hugh and Ryan are huge Stays, This collab was anticipated for stays for a while. Also Straykids will be featured in the new Deadpool and wolverine movie theough an OST ( original sound track )called "Slash" 🙏
Ok so like other people said bang chan picked the members then they got put in a survival to debut, hellevator is their pre-debut song made in the show. SKZ started as a 9 member group (the 9th member was woojin) around 2019 woojin did not renew his contract for personal reasons, we still don't know what those might be but woojin is doing a solo career now
Great reaction. If you enjoy the more fun slightly campy vibe I would also recommend Back Door. Theres so many great songs of there's but Back Door is Stray Kids but theatre kid imo. :-)
Oh these first look videos are always my favorite! The longer the better lol And I really like your feedback on their music production because it's always nice to see reactors praise 3racha (which you pronounced right btw) And which reminds me, Chk Chk Boom is not part of the Deadpool soundtrack, it's actually a song called Slash and the mv is not out yet! Ryan just wanted to cameo on the CCB mv because him and Chan have been friends since Skz did a Deadpool/Marvel theme performance a few years ago. The interactions were so wholesome 🥰 Side note: you're very good at memorizing names and faces! And yes, you chose the right group if you're a fan of experimental music... which funny enough, that's what they get hated for 😭 If you wanna continue checking out title tracks, then definitely do listen to God's Menu, Thunderous, S-class, and Lalalala. There's obviously more but let me not be overwhelming 😅 And bside MVs that I have a feeling you'll like: Venom (tw for arachnophobia) Megaverse, Easy, Topline, and Mountains. No MVs but a must listen to: Charmer, Domino, Item, Superbowl, and Hall of Fame Their more vocal songs tend to not have MVs with the exception of Secret Secret (lyrics by Han), Sorry I love You (lyrics by Changbin) and Gone Away (lyrics by Seungmin, I.N, and Han) but other than that, and you don't mind listening to just the audio, then I definitely recommend Cover Me, Collision, Waiting For Us, Slump (which there’s an amazing 1st take perf for this) Anyways, I'm holding back a lot (tried) and it's making my head hurt lmao but hope you do continue on this journey! These guys really spoil us a lot with their music and there's a reason nonstays think that they have like 5 comebacks a year despite only releasing 1-2 albums 😭 Which brings me to my last comment.. I really think you're gonna love Han's solo songs. That guy is a genius and I love when baby stays get to discover that side of him 🫶 Oh and 1 more thing! The most recent guide that we have so far is The Complete 2024 Guide to Stray Kids by Chandora's World. I actually like the guides by TeaNoSuga a bit better but they’re now a little outdated since these guys always move so fast 😅 The one by Chandora’s World is roughly 2 hours, but if that’s too much for you then you can probably break it down in half- or however you choose to proceed :) We stays always love long reactions so either way we’ll be happy lol
Random song suggestions: Ex, Blueprint, Chill, Cover Me, Super Bowl, Winter Falls, Social Path, Secret Secret. I hope you enjoy your dive into Stray Kids!
Please don't binge anything without filming 😢. We want to see your journey.
I find that the tone they set in the writing of this "debut" Hellevator is so indicative of the sincerity and passion they pour into their craft to this day
btw they weren’t made on a survival show! Chan scouted/chose them and they had a survival show but all of the members debuted!
The group was NOT created through a survival show (as it says on the article) ... Chan created Stray Kids, and then JYP put them through a survival show to see if they were good enough to debut. Hellevator was written during this show to show their writing and producing ability
Yes, this!!!
To be fr, jyp put them on that show to promote them and created unnecessary drama to make more fans
@@sofiarolfranco3381 smart asf tbh

You guys are the best 😊🤍 (may be consulting you with future questions and excitement 😂)
ChkChk Boom is not the Deadpool soundtrack song. The song on the soundtrack is called Slash. Judging by this first reaction, you should absolutely check out their recording behinds for their title and album. Since their songs are mostly self-produced through 3racha (Chan, Changbin, Han) it’s a treat watching their vocal direction on top of the members vocal/rap skills. ❤
Just a heads up, that Hellavator is actually predebut. District 9 is their official debut song :)
Ahhhh thanks for letting me know!(:
One of my absolute favorites. The rap line is insane.
Chaotic is not strong enough to describe Stray Kids 😂😂😂 ❤❤❤
I ADORE Cover Me. The final chorus makes me ascend haha. I've listened to the song 1,640 times (oops).
as a han bias it's always so lovely seeing people compliment his rapping and lyricism ^_^ i'd love to see you dive deeper into their stuff! i'd have a long list of recommendations but i don't want to overwhelm you lmao
That last chorus you thought was Lee know was actually Bang Chan!! I love his voice sm 🥲
Omg thankyou for appreciating I.N's unique voice I just rarely see ppl talking about it he is my bias just bcuz of his beautiful voice ❤
AHHHHHH! YES! I'm so here for this. I love Stray kids. Hyunjin is my bias and I.N is my wrecker. I can't wait to see you fall in love with them.
I LOVE THISS. My biases are Changbin & Seungmin, such underrated idols. I totally recommend checking out the MV's "Venom", "Mountains", and "Lose my Breath", one of the songs where you really get to hear every members vocals
'Cover Me" I would put way above 'Lose my Breath' as they all sing and it's a beautiful song and their vocals are amazing.
Absolutely! There is the Stray Kids version of "Lose My Breath", it's not the MV, they are all on stools singing live.
tbh i hated lose my breath I wouldn’t recommend it, so many other of their songs showcase their vocals more
@@nicoleliberty6844it’s not live i’m pretty sure they recorded it in studio and lip synched in the vid, it sounds like it has production /autotune in that recording imo
@@ccgrey8731 SO true
Based on this video alone, I think you will love 3racha a lottt. HAN is a musical genius and the ace of the aces. He is one of the main rappers; he can sing like the main vocalist, and he can produce. You will not regret stanning them. 8 of them are all really talented. Yes, please react to the guide.
Wow! This is the first time I've seen your video. I love your reaction and the way you notice details! I can't wait to see the next reactions to these amazing guys. ❤
100% 😊
Since you said that the piano is your favorite musical instrument, I strongly advise you to listen to "I hate to admit" by bangchan and "Twilight"and"1,2,3,,4,5" by Han "Long for you" by hyunjin and"streetlight"by changbin and"close" by Han
Thank you for the reaction 💕💕
Well I think a good one to listen to is Secret Secret, Skz is known for high energy "noisy music", but they can do emotional ballads too!
I personally also love, Side Effects, LALALALA (La4) & Levanter.
35:28 as a Han (and Lee Know) bias we would love for you to join the club 😅
38:35 of course he’s trouble he’s friends with Wooyoung lol
I LOVE when people pick up on their bias so quickly lol. Welcome to Stayville!
I love seeing someone newly discover them, subscribing for your journey down the rabbit hole.
edit: Forgot to mention, I feel like you would really like "Backdoor"
second edit: not sure if anyone has already said this but "Chk Chk Boom" isn't for the Deadpool movie but they do have a song on the movie soundtrack that they just released, "Slash."
34:42 Stray Kids' song Slash is the soundtrack for Deadpool and Wolverine
28:56 it is I.N! he has a very unique and beautiful voice
As an Atiny being a Stay is like a must. 💯🔥
Thank you for doing Stray Kids for me
I love I.N’s unique voice too!
You’re so real about Bangchan’s part Maniac, I was so addicted to it when saw it for the first time and still love it the most ❤️
I cant wait if you get into them They are my ult group my bias is leeknow
ChkChkBoom: first chorus is Hyunjin and Lee Know, second chorus is Felix and Bang Chan.
I love long videos. ✅️
I loved your reaction! I think you really would love their song Scars, it's on their Japan UA-cam channel, and other songs are Youtiful, Cover Me, and Lonely St. Hellevator was actually their Pre-debut song they made that song while they was on their survival show, their actually debut song was District 9.
I really enjoyed watching this, welcome to the rabbit hole that is discovering SKZ😂
Also, thank you for appreciating all their voices, especially I.N's; you're right. His voice is so unique and special(Chan said it was what made him choose I.N). Lol it's also what gave him away when he went on the masked singer show recently. Stays clocked it was him instantly though just from his posture and then he sang which confirmed it. He's improved so much since debut and we love to see it.
44:44 It's Chan you were referring to although Leeknow has an amazing voice too, I also love Channie's voice
I think you'll love their b-sides and unit/solo stuff but take your time bc it's a lot.
Cruelty and discord are signs of those not true to Staydom or the inclusivity of SKZ that
are displayed every day. So, welcome to Stayville, the Lee-bit hole is deep, but a fun and meaningful ride.
i love seeing jeongin vocal appreciation ❤️❤️ thank u for your reaction ^_^ you’re very good at putting names to faces!
Its so refreshing to see someone reslly appriciating han omgg
Loved your reaction! Stray Kids is going to bring so much happiness into your life
I absolutely LOVE I.N’s voice so it was so nice to hear you talk about it as well!
Also the making of and behind the scenes and talkers, really all their content is great
So excited to watch this!! Stray Kids are such a fun group and I really hope you enjoy your journey with them (:
Thank you! Yes, Stray Kids is a beautiful, crazy, chaotic, incredible rabbit hole to fall into. You will never really have to ask for recommendations when it comes to Stays, lol, believe me. So, on that note, here are a few of my favorites/pivtol/strongest (for different members) songs to check out:
Solos:
Bang Chan: Hate to Admit
Lee Know: Limbo and his cover of Love Me or Leave Me
Changbin: Doodle (fair warning, it is an odd sounding song that can be kind of polarizing at first but gets better the more you listen to it) his feat. in Mirror, Mirror with F. Hero and Milli has one of his best raps ever, Streetlight is a powerful, beautiful song (make sure you find the video with the subtitles)
Hyunjin: Love Untold
Han: (oh boy, there are SO many--this man is a lyrical genius) Volcano, I Got It, Alien (watch the video someone animated, it is beautiful), 13
Felix: Deep End
Seungmin: His cover of Love Peom he did for his "show" "Song by" and any of his OSTs (Destiny and Here Always are my favs)
I.N.: Memory of Your Scent (the others are covers in which I could not find an English translation for but if you look under SKZ Record more will come up)
Group/unit songs to check out:
Thunderous, God's Menu of course, Easy, Neverending Story, Gone Away, Jjam, My Pace, Waiting For Us, Backdoor, Circus, Levanter, Christmas Evel, Scars, Slump, Double Knot......
CHK CHK BOOM Timestamps:
35:19 Lee Know
35:21 Felix
35:41 Han
35:50 Changbin
35:59 I.N
36:05 Seungmin
36:10 Bangchan
37:50 Hyunjin
38:10 Lee Know
38:20 Han
38:26 Felix
38:43 Changbin
38:52 I.N
39:01 Seungmin
39:21 Felix
39:30 Bangchan
39:39 Hyunjin
39:48 Lee Know
Bang Chan singing skills are so underrated so I’m loving the appreciation ❤️🩹
They just have really deep meetings if you ever choose to really look at the lyrics and analyze it.❤
welcome to the fandom, I feel like...once you open the door...there's no way back hahaha
(btw, like if you saw the "aing-aing")
Since you like piano a lot, these are two stray kids songs that I know have beautiful background piano in them:
1. Deep end (solo song by felix)
2. Twilight (song on their recent album)
I love Twilight
I would add "I hate to admit" (solo song by Bangchan) and "Slash" that has ITS moments and give all the tension the song needs and "Butterflies" that cute one also has a charming piano and "DLC" I love the piano in this one, Youtiful also has a pretty piano, Limbo (solo song by Lee Know) Stars and Raindrops (solo song by Seungmin) there are so many beautiful ones... Twilight is my weakness in this moment...
Streetlight (solo song by Changbin) is soo good too!! all their song are good!! I will shut up now...
I don't think she's ready for Deep End 😂 I'm listening to it non stop since it came out and I'm still not ready for it
I am glad you enjoyed them. All time favorite for life.❤
for more info on the group you can just check out introduction videos to know more about each member and their uniqueness!
Haha Stray Kids are called Stray Kids for a reason!! They do things differently 😆 So fun to follow your first look into them and get your music production perspective too! (I'm a photographer as well so reacting to SKZ is always a feast for the eyes as well lol)
And you immediately claiming Han as your fav is amazing 🤣 I loved you onsessing over Chk Chk Boom too - somehow Stray Kids always managers to reinvent and do new things!
As if you didnt have enough to focus on already, but I would also highly recommend reading the lyrics for their songs as it's one my favorite parts of their music! Would love to hear your thoughts on them!
Also recommendations!: Definitely a guide (in which you will hear snippets of a lot of different songs you'll want to listen to xD Chandora's World complete 2024 guide is great), but after that Thunderous, LALALALA, Easy, Domino (no mv but a short unveil video), and Venom 💕
Subbed + excited to be on this journey with you!
20:19 lmaoo that is so funny bc hes rly one of the sweetest softest members hes such a man baby
my bias is han (jisung)!! plz more skz reaction
You are gonna love han, he is an actual ace!!!
honestly your pronunciation is spot on, it kinda surprised me at first lmaoooo no worries!! welcome~ also you're friends with new chapter reactions? i'm in 😎 i love them lmaoooo there are A LOT of contents when it comes to SKZ so you can get through it slowly but sure, take your time! it can easily be overwhelming at first but believe me it's worth all the time you put in 😌
YAY! Stray Kids. More please.
omg that was so fun, love your reaction! love how detailed you are
instantly subscribed, i wanna see and accompany you on this skz journey 😌🤝🏻
Thanks for reacting to stray kids. I enjoyed this alot. And i like your personality. My bias is Han
Wow I'm so happy that you noticed I.N (Jeongin)'s unique voice! It is very unique. ❤
I keep coming back to this video, your reaction is so fun and satisfying, hope you enjoy the journey with stray kids!!
Wow i never realized how good of a combo these particular three songs are! Welcome to the rabbit hole 🎉🎉🎉
I wanna recommend my favourite title track of them: LALALALA
there is even a little short documentary (only 9 minutes) about the music video where the directors, stray kids and many more talk about the story
I'm a Hyunjin bias (Lee Know wrecker) but these guys have it all, every single one of them is so talented and unique that you can't help falling for them and as you also noticed they all can sing and rap and honestly you can never guess who's gonna do what on a new track.
yessss omg 😆 i’ve been waiting for this 🥳🥳🥳
i’m genuinely so excited for you to discover/react to more of skz !!! 💞
That will give you an idea of their styles and growth and there will be a TON of other tracks to dive into based on which MVs you end up liking most.
omg finally!!! i am so happy you're starting to react to Stray Kids too 😍 Ateez, Seventeen and Stray Kids are my favourites and now you react to them all
Please react to a 2024 Stray kids guide. To get to know more of the group and each members.
Chandora's World is the most updated and thorough one.
I'd love to see u deep diving into skz! I 100% recommend doing it chronologicaly it's the best way to experience their growth
I have a couple of SKZ recommendations of my own, what I call the "dark ambient/beat" songs
3rd Eye, Tortoise and the Hare, Maze of Memories, Levanter and DLMLU.
A small collection of the darker tone and ambient sounding songs of theirs, some of which usually go unlooked.
Glad you like them!
Hellevator is pre-debut, and
District 9 is the debut single.
Han and changbin are the main rappers... THey switch up styles often and are both incredibly talented..
Hyunjin’s red hair is forever iconic he’s so cool his moves are amazing
Stray Kids was a 9 members group but one of them named Woojin had to leave due to personal issues not starting from Levanter to Chk chk boom including Maniac they're now 8 members
Loved your reaction ! Hope to see more of stray kids 🥰🇫🇷
Welcome to STAYville! This is a rabbit hole worth falling into and binging.
Since you like the visual aspect of the mvs, I think you'll like "LALALALA"! The mv is particularly nice, I think. Other mvs with nice visuals can be 'Thunderous', 'Case 143', or 'Scars' (a japanese release) for example. ^^
Welcome to Stayville
Ryan has been friends with Chan ( the leader of Straykids) since 2021 , They've been really close friends exchanging gifts and complementing each other. The funny thing is that marvel dosen't know about this collab. Both Ryan and Hugh willing decided to cameo on the M/V because they both love Straykids so much. Fast forward to now, both Hugh and Ryan are huge Stays, This collab was anticipated for stays for a while. Also Straykids will be featured in the new Deadpool and wolverine movie theough an OST ( original sound track )called "Slash"
🙏
Great reaction and commentary! Welcome to stay!
Ok so like other people said bang chan picked the members then they got put in a survival to debut, hellevator is their pre-debut song made in the show. SKZ started as a 9 member group (the 9th member was woojin) around 2019 woojin did not renew his contract for personal reasons, we still don't know what those might be but woojin is doing a solo career now
Very fun and chaotic group that's so true 😂 they have so much stuffs and versatility we're never bored here 😊
Welcome to this new journey!!
2:09 You literally named my favorite skz reactors omg
Great reaction. If you enjoy the more fun slightly campy vibe I would also recommend Back Door. Theres so many great songs of there's but Back Door is Stray Kids but theatre kid imo. :-)
OMG YAY THE QUEEN CHECKING ON SKZ WE WON
"I'm distracted by the crop-top." - hard same.
THANKS FOR REACTION!!
The interactions were so wholesome 🥰
Side note: you're very good at memorizing names and faces!
And yes, you chose the right group if you're a fan of experimental music... which funny enough, that's what they get hated for 😭 If you wanna continue checking out title tracks, then definitely do listen to God's Menu, Thunderous, S-class, and Lalalala. There's obviously more but let me not be overwhelming 😅
And bside MVs that I have a feeling you'll like: Venom (tw for arachnophobia) Megaverse, Easy, Topline, and Mountains. No MVs but a must listen to: Charmer, Domino, Item, Superbowl, and Hall of Fame
Their more vocal songs tend to not have MVs with the exception of Secret Secret (lyrics by Han), Sorry I love You (lyrics by Changbin) and Gone Away (lyrics by Seungmin, I.N, and Han) but other than that, and you don't mind listening to just the audio, then I definitely recommend Cover Me, Collision, Waiting For Us, Slump (which there’s an amazing 1st take perf for this)
Anyways, I'm holding back a lot (tried) and it's making my head hurt lmao but hope you do continue on this journey! These guys really spoil us a lot with their music and there's a reason nonstays think that they have like 5 comebacks a year despite only releasing 1-2 albums 😭
Which brings me to my last comment.. I really think you're gonna love Han's solo songs. That guy is a genius and I love when baby stays get to discover that side of him 🫶
Oh and 1 more thing! The most recent guide that we have so far is The Complete 2024 Guide to Stray Kids by Chandora's World. I actually like the guides by TeaNoSuga a bit better but they’re now a little outdated since these guys always move so fast 😅
The one by Chandora’s World is roughly 2 hours, but if that’s too much for you then you can probably break it down in half- or however you choose to proceed :) We stays always love long reactions so either way we’ll be happy lol
I see Stray Kids,I click the subscribe button
Random song suggestions: Ex, Blueprint, Chill, Cover Me, Super Bowl, Winter Falls, Social Path, Secret Secret. I hope you enjoy your dive into Stray Kids!
