Thanks for your honest review. I've been using Bose S1 Pro as my main busking speaker for a year and I have 2 big issues: 1) The mic channel cannot go loud enough. The instrument and AUX channels can go quite loud but the mic channel can't catch up with them in terms of volume. 2) Promised battery life is 6 hours at full volume but my speaker dies after 3 hours at half volume. This is just ridiculous. I'm thinking of selling my Bose S1 Pro to get Everse 8 just like you did. Just because Everse 8 is louder, I can use it at a lower volume and get longer battery life, maybe around 4-5 hours and that's enough for me. I can't just rely on Bose S1 Pro dying after 3 hours. I could actually purchase a spare battery if the mic channel was loud enough but Bose S1 Pro doesn't deserve that investment. If I'm investing in a spare battery that would be for Everse 8 moving forwards.

Usually the Bose should last longer, mine last longer at least 4/5 hours. The mic channel IS quieter when you compare it connecting a keyboard or a guitar, but even using something that push the mic signal you are not getting so much more. The everse battery last less long, but producing much more volume than the Bose, I would thing of a second battery for the everse if you want to use it at full volume and for longer than 2h

I'm very interested in the Alto Busker. 200watts, very long battery life, under 12lbs. Smaller in size than the Bose S1 pro and a bargain at $350 on sweetwater. Worth checking out. I haven't played with one yet but I'm very interested. I haven't seen any reviews of the Alto Busker by actual busker performers which I'd love to see. It all depends on where you plan to perform and expected crowd size. I don't think it's fair to expect a easily portable busking setup to sound as good as a standard PA system. The Alto Busker might be a little too quiet for some environments but the size, weight and price are hard to beat.

I’ve never tried the alto busked. But for what I know, yes, it can probably be more little in terms of sound. Good for if you don’t need more. I’m still of the idea that the perfect amp is the one that fits the individual needs by what I wanted to highlight in this video is that the everse is an incredible compromise between portability and sound/loudness.

My everse 8 is a great speaker. Much better for vocals, keyboards, and guitar than my Bose s1. Better app, effects, speakers, battery, accessories, inputs, outputs, and controls. The ev 8 is louder. Vocals sound especially nice. But thanks to portable power (like Jackery etc), we can use almost any speaker or amp so the sky is literally the limit.
