Oh yeah I remember you! What a musically gifted fellow you are! Welcome back and I'd love to see more things with the full sized keyboard. I think we have met before...😘
@evarsingersongwriter6228 Yes, a regular USB-midi connection is available on the back panel, as well as a an included midi breakout cable, for old fashioned MIDI In/Out, if you want to control the reface from a bigger keyboard for instance :)
@user-jy3io4iz2p I actually looked at the Roland VR-09 a couple of years ago, when also looking at the excellent Yamaha YC-61, but ended up getting the Nord Electro 6D 73. The yamaha has excellent Rhodes. Better than the Nord's, actually. But I wasn't impressed with the Pianos. I am fortunate enough to have a Nord Grand, which is just amazing for that. The Roland VR-09 has decent organs and seems to just be a charmer all around :) I wouldn't use it for pianos though. I miss my Reface, they really are great. Thanks for watching :)
Hey there! Long time, no see. Ah, you have a damn good point about the Wurlitzer. Rhodes is lovely but Wurlitzer has a deeper, warmer tone. I love the Yamaha. I should investigate that.
Hey Bec, nice to hear from you again :) In my humble opinion, the Wurlitzer has a more balanced sound, Fender Rhodes are lovely - there's a reason they became so popular, but they tend to muddy up a bit in the mids.
Have you found it’s secret grand piano setting? Turn the patch control knob between any two sounds and have it stay there...can be a bit tricky at first...then power the instrument down and back on and...viola!! A Yamaha cfsIII Grand. Rock on!

For € 300 more the you get a Roland VR-09, not even a consideration to my likings.
And another €100 buys you a DGX-670 🤠
