Nice Video mate i have fitted an INNov K5 dash cam system to my explore It has lots more wires so was a pain but i did it. I used a Healtech Thunderbox to give me the 12volt switched live it also was usefull when i fitted my Denali additional spotlights as a switched live supply. Keep the vids coming im loving my Explore although still struggling with the snatchy throttle
I was looking at one of them or the Vantrue F1 but thought I'd pick up a cheaper one for now and see how it goes. I may upgrade later but I'll keep this one on here for a while now
I recently did the remapping for the throttle, fixed my issues, (Explore) just google it, I did it twice as the first time I was not happy with the result, how have you found this camera (INNov K5)
I really love the fact that you do "Ali-Express-Tutorials" rather than just mainstream product placement...sometimes its just trash, but oftentimes you get more than enough quality for a fraction of the price there. (not that thats always good). Great video though! 😃😃
There are a lot of gems on Ali, the downside is that you can't easily tell the quality without receiving an item first. For example, VRIG phone mounts are superior to any other mounts be it Peak Design, QuadLock, etc. and they cost a fraction of the named brands. There is also a company that produces aluminium RAM compatible mounting parts which look pretty and are sturdier than RAM, etc. On my bike, I have quite a few items from Ali, which are comparable if not better than the name brands. E.g. I was considering Innov 3rd Eye, but $700 is a eye watering price for a BSD system, then I discovered that Ali provides a very decent BSD for $100 :).
Nice setup. However, do you have any concerns that if the front bottoms out (e.g. you go onto really rough terrain) that the front fender can smash into the front camera?
Great video! I just noticed that the camera outcome is a little bit not straight horizontal, is it a mounting problem or does the camera come like that? Otherwise, keep the videos coming, great work mate
Mate your fog lamps should not be switched with highbeam and this will wash out the effectiveness of the yellow lens. If you are using them as additional lighting/ driving lights then yes. This is why there is an independent switch in most cars for the fog lamps.
Yea thays what I was using them for, I have the normal fog lamps for normal foggy/wet weather conditions but we're going to use these for spotlights for extra lighting at night along with the high beams

Hello, 14:09 - can you please explain how to make this RED wires for accessories?
Where did you pick up the accessory feed? high beam too?
Do you have a update on the camera system how’s it working out on the bike. Still waiting for your feedback before I buy one

Dont think ill have any issued with it there, will have to bottom out very hard for that to happen i think, but no issues so far.
Great video!

Yea think it's the mounting position and not rotated properly, need to fix it eventually haha
Curious to know how it is I. The dark. Since I do a lot of night time riding too. Does it have night vision
You could try Denali lights with DialDim connection. Complete control over high/low beam and what % brightness you want.
where on the harness is the accessory hookup wires or terminals ...thanks
The USB or 12v socket up front
