    Thank you!! This was a lucky moment, finding you. I have some on order now, but can't get the old ones out! They are so rusty. Any suggestions, please?

      If it’s a Ford original it’s threaded on the back. If you have determined a change is in order you can remove the front cover and just force it out from the outside in with a screwdriver or something.

      You can try unthreading the nut in the backside

      @@WorksforMe Yes the light housings are all original. It's a 97 with only 109k miles in good shape but not mint, unfortunately. I'll work them from the back, if I can, like you suggest! Much appreciated!

      Cut off the connector, use an approved splice for the hot wire, put an eyelet on the ground and find a place to mount it to the frame. The only difference is the frame is your ground, not another wire.

      yes, the new one I agree greasing will help.... the old one was beyond recovery. The corrosion was deep within and I tried to "melt" it by spraying PB blaster several times to no avail.
