Didn’t quite want to fit on my 1992 Cheyenne. Had to dap a bit of chapstick and use a rubber mallet to get them in. One side fit snug the other needed the retainer clip to fit firm. A small trade off for the price. Overall happy.
Thank you for the links on these lights, as I have been looking for them and not finding them. I need to go a little deeper as one socket is missing and the other is crushed. Any leads on the sockets? I have a 99 Suburban.

I've had these tail lights for 5 years now, never had an issue with them, best aftermarket tail lights I've had in the truck so far! I didn't even realize it's been that long, had to look at when I posted the video about them lol.
Hey man I talked with you last week bout the bumper spacing I was watching a guy with a stepside and his bumper had a small molding piece across the top of the bumper that might make the gap a little smaller for ya
They did not fit my truck and the wires fell out of the lights. 100% WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. I have the exact same truck as BadZ71. He just gets paid to recommend these lights to people. They are very cheap and a waste of 15$.
I don't get paid to recommend these. These were not a sponsored product at all, I found them and just bought them. Unfortunately it seems like you got a bad set as mine fit like factory and have been working well so far, definitely sorry they didn't for you.
@@BADZ71 Sorry man I was upset when I sent that comment but I got another set of them and they work great now. They just melt the wires very poorly in them and you have to be super careful but the new ones are working great so far. Love you’re truck man! My apologies.

Also when you lower the tailgate when your working at night they kinda act like work lights since their so bright

As of right now I can definitely recommend them! Fit isn't too bad, hopefully moisture stays out.

Just got a 89 Silverado k1500 and need to upgrade literally every lightbulb
They were made to put the old socket back into not to b left hanging.

When I put my bumper back on I had to get the complete harness and sockets from a junkyard. Super easy to pull and they are pretty common.
Do these come with a chrome housing mine have Chrome housings that I really like but I want to upgrade the light

@@ant123_2 oh my bad I read tail lights lol, no the license plate lights are also still perfectly fine
Question about the new rear bumper being lower how much lower is it maybe there are brackets that can lift it up a little
It's not even that it's lower, it's just the step pads making it appear lower since they don't have that lip to fill the space
Oh I see I did notice there was a little gap there between the tailgate and bumper
