I’m so happy that Pastor Todd suggested a counselor or therapist. So many pastors don’t advocate for mental health. They just believe that God is the only thing you need. But God gives us mental doctors just like he gives us physical doctors.

Best one by far. I screwed up bad this past Thursday. Sexual immorality. I’ve been hating myself all weekend. Today this was the message. God thank you for your mercy, kindness and forgiveness.
One thing I’ve learned is in that moment of temptation, the enemy will lure you in with “one time won’t hurt” or get you comfortable with sin because God is gracious. But it’s vital we understand to not abuse Gods Grace just because it is available. Furthermore, post the sin act, the enemy will have you condemn yourself to the point you don’t feel worthy of Gods love. Why?? The enemy wants you to not be in relationship with the Lord, and the best way He can do that is through our minds and division through our mistakes. Keep fighting ❤️ you’ve got it, and God got you.
Don't be hard on yourself. We all make mistakes. The Bible says that a righteous man falls 7 times but he gets back up. Just ask God to forgive you and don't put yourself in a situation where you are alone with a man. Always go out in public or have other people around. My boyfriend and I are walking in purity and we stumbled too but I made a decision not to be alone with him. We also don't kiss, hug, or touch. Not even hold hands. That may seem old fashioned but when you touch you get stimulated sexually. And watch your thoughts. Don't think about sex. Don't listen to music that talks about sex o t watch or read anything with sex in it. All those things get into your heart and mind. Just like Joyce Meyer said, " where the mind goes the man follows" In other words, what you think about you will do. I had a hard time with sexual desires but when I stopped thinking about it they all stopped. God also did something in me too but I have no desire to have sex. Another thing I just thought of is masterbation. You can't do that either. That just makes you want to have sex more because it doesn't fully satisfy that desire. If you have a hard time with any of these things watch there may be a demon spirit attacking you and you have to get free from it. Ask God to remove it from you and things will get a lot easier because the spirit is driving you to do those things. Read the Bible every day and pray every day to fill yourself up so that the spirit doesn't come back. It may try to come back so keep getting into the Bible and praying. Learn about your authority in Jesus and bind it and tell it to leave. Watch, " Authority of the Believer" by Kenneth Hagin on UA-cam. Watch the entire thing. It should have several parts. Watch one part a day until you finish it. Take notes and write all of the Scriptures down and go back and study them. Before you listen to it confess the Scriptures in Ephesians that he mentions. Do that every time you study the Bible. The Holy Spirit will give you more understanding of the Bible if you that first. I was reading a little book about authority by Billye Brim. I read several pages. I stopped and confessed those Scriptures in Ephesians over myself and went back to read it. I saw so much and learned so much that I didn't see before. I could barely get off one page. So do that every time you read the Bible. And put those things into practice that I mentioned above and you won't stumble again. If you are not alone with a man you won't have an opportunity to do it. Keep your mind off of sex too. And do those other things and it will really help you. Ask God to help you and to show you what things you might be doing that is causing you to want to have sex. God will show you. And if you stumble again go back and see how it happened and don't do those things again. But not being alone will not give you the opportunity to have sex because hopefully you wouldn't do that around other people. I hope this helps you. And if the person won't agree to not see you in public and wants to see you alone then you need to ask God if you should be with that person or not.
For years I've been holding myself accountable for the sexual sin that I got myself into at a young age due to ignorance. I've always blamed myself for everything and never gave myself any room to fail and every time I did, I beat myself up about it big time. I harm myself physically because of this. I never forgave myself simply because i thought I never deserved it and I didn't know how to forgive me. I've sinned against the Lord and fallen for temptation to many times to count. I built my identity off of this sin and now i don't know who I am. I have a hard time believing that I am a child Of God and that I don't deserve any things the Lord has blessed be with. I'm mentally not okay and I fall deeper everyday. This message just wow.....It came at a needed time❤❤

I can relate. I was introduce to sexual sin at a very young age, which robbed me of my innocence and led me to primiscuse way of life, and hurting others- It's been hard to forgive myself, and even upset that if I was never introduce to sexual sin and robbed of my innocence perhaps my choices would be different. This message is for me, thank God Jesus doesn't see us base upon our sin. I think about the greats like Moses who was a murderer but God use him, and Saul who persecuted Christian name was change to Paul, Zachaeus robbed people with their taxes- but his encounter with Jesus changed his life, the woman caught in adultry was saved and redeem after her encounter with Jesus,and so many greats in the Bible, Jesus changed their lives, and change their stories, and they became history makers. I thank Jesus for seeing us through His eyes and redeeming us from sin and giving us a New Identity in Him, and helping us to forgive ourselves, and receiving His empowerment to become who He created us to be🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🕊

This feels like a midterm - sometimes midterms are more difficult than final exams. I have to forgive myself for so much. This is the hardest part. I am so grateful to have these messages. I don’t even see you anymore when you’re preaching, Pastor Mike. I hear God. That’s the difference between what I’ve experienced in my faith walk in the past: I became obsessed with the vessel but not the word. Because forgiveness is so important, I’m understanding the levels and depths to it in a way I haven’t before. I’m praying that we all pass our midterms this week. And that this lesson is lifelong.

I was 5 years of chronic illness. Semi Housebound, lost my health, job, finances and my fiance left me. I couldn't even look at electronic screen for 5 minutes, or hold a 10-minute conversation. But God did an amazing work. And if he can do this, he can do it in you also. 😇🙏 I now have a Christian Channel where I encourage people and show them what God did in my life and that there is hope for you also. *Keep believing even when it's hard* 🙏❤️🙌🔥👆🏼😊 *All things are possible with God*
I’m in the process of forgiving those who’ve wronged me. But it was the deep rooted resentment towards myself for allowing people to wrong me without some sort of retaliation or putting myself in crazy situations, that made me despise myself. I could look in the mirror to get ready for work, do my hair, brush my teeth but to look at my reflection and tell myself, “I forgive you,” was probably one of the hardest things I’ve done all week... But it was also much needed. I’ve been praying to the lord to take me to the next level. I’ve realized I can’t if I’m bound by un-forgiveness. Pastor Mike!! I actually did it - took my first forgiveness steps and reached out to three people I had bad blood with for over a decade. Only by God’s grace and the Holy Spirit moving through your teaching could this happen! You know the crazy thing (I’m shouting AMEN! at the 3 minute mark of this sermon because) within a day of doing it.. I got to see.. It was never them I was holding hostage. It was ME!! The impact on the other person was kind of minimal but the impact on MYSELF is totally life changing! I can’t believe I was living in a prison of offence I had built for MYSELF since I was a teenager! Wow, I can't begin to say how much I need this. I walk around thinking that I am the nicest person in the world and my husband and family are always telling me how angry and snappy I am, and it all comes from unforgiveness, mainly for myself. The most important aspect of forgiveness indeed! So many of us stuck in our sinful ways because we can’t learn to let go of our past. We stay in our bad habits so long that we start to identify as our actions. But thanks to God’s mercy, even that last slip up does not define you. I pray for freedom for anyone going through addiction or struggling to forgive themselves for what they’ve done in Jesus’ name🙏🏽. And right in the clutch too, bless you Pastor Mike! Yoooooooooooo - This series is so humbling!!!!! (FORGIVENESS SHOULD BE YOUR NEXT BOOK). For a year I had been on a journey of humility and self love (forgetting about forgiving myself which cause me not to think I am worthy of his help...so I felt funny going to him for lots of things because I start thinking I didn’t deserve love as I didn’t forgive me to love me so I couldn’t recieve his forgiveness by owning my LOOAAAADD) and I only realised it properly last night before bed, I woke up different like a burden off my back gone then it was confirmed by this series. The eyes of heart are so open now to receive this cleansing and transformation!!!!

This is really blessing me. I have been searching and wondering what has been going on with me personally. I always knew I needed to learn how to forgive myself but didn't know the steps and I now see what stage I'm on. The Insulation. I have a hard time surrounding myself around people. And when I do, I'm not transparent and I hold in what's going on. I have the attitude of wanting to handle things on my own and that's when the enemy gets really busy. I don't want to be this way anymore. It has caused me to isolate myself, it causes me my humbleness and it has made me a bitter woman. I now know what needs to be done. Thank you God!

There are so many who have gone to seminary school, graduate believing they know the word of God, and yet the teach a lie. I soooooooo appreciate the simplicity and the truth of God’s word being preached in order to change lives - the way God intended. Just here crying like a baby from the start of the message. I needed to forgive myself truly. I am at point where I literally feel like a hot mess. Just yesterday I looked at myself in the mirror I saw myself struggling on different fronts and all I could say was "Ela you are just a hot mess! Jesus help me!" Don't get me wrong. If you don’t accept Gods forgiveness by forgiving yourself, you’re allowing the enemy to come in and attack you. Once I felt insanely guilty for playing bad music w friends on the way to church😂 I asked God for forgiveness in the car & He understood. so when I was worshipping, I was hearing all these SUPER LOUD VOICES in my head “who do you think you are?” “You’re a hypocrite” yada yada and then I said to it, “if God forgave me and I forgave myself, then who are you?” And that thing FLED. This all goes to prove that if I hadn’t forgiven myself, i would’ve given power to the enemy to condemn me. And in a way that could even be considered disobedience because if God forgave me, who am I to hold sins against myself that God already voided. That’s putting my view of self higher than Gods.

Best one by far. I screwed up bad this past Thursday. Sexual immorality. I’ve been hating myself all weekend. Today this was the message. God thank you for your mercy, kindness and forgiveness.
reading your word, prayer and worship is the key...stay connected to God❤️
One thing I’ve learned is in that moment of temptation, the enemy will lure you in with “one time won’t hurt” or get you comfortable with sin because God is gracious. But it’s vital we understand to not abuse Gods Grace just because it is available. Furthermore, post the sin act, the enemy will have you condemn yourself to the point you don’t feel worthy of Gods love. Why?? The enemy wants you to not be in relationship with the Lord, and the best way He can do that is through our minds and division through our mistakes. Keep fighting ❤️ you’ve got it, and God got you.
Don't be hard on yourself. We all make mistakes. The Bible says that a righteous man falls 7 times but he gets back up. Just ask God to forgive you and don't put yourself in a situation where you are alone with a man. Always go out in public or have other people around. My boyfriend and I are walking in purity and we stumbled too but I made a decision not to be alone with him. We also don't kiss, hug, or touch. Not even hold hands. That may seem old fashioned but when you touch you get stimulated sexually. And watch your thoughts. Don't think about sex. Don't listen to music that talks about sex o t watch or read anything with sex in it. All those things get into your heart and mind. Just like Joyce Meyer said, " where the mind goes the man follows" In other words, what you think about you will do. I had a hard time with sexual desires but when I stopped thinking about it they all stopped. God also did something in me too but I have no desire to have sex. Another thing I just thought of is masterbation. You can't do that either. That just makes you want to have sex more because it doesn't fully satisfy that desire. If you have a hard time with any of these things watch there may be a demon spirit attacking you and you have to get free from it. Ask God to remove it from you and things will get a lot easier because the spirit is driving you to do those things. Read the Bible every day and pray every day to fill yourself up so that the spirit doesn't come back. It may try to come back so keep getting into the Bible and praying. Learn about your authority in Jesus and bind it and tell it to leave. Watch, " Authority of the Believer" by Kenneth Hagin on UA-cam. Watch the entire thing. It should have several parts. Watch one part a day until you finish it. Take notes and write all of the Scriptures down and go back and study them. Before you listen to it confess the Scriptures in Ephesians that he mentions. Do that every time you study the Bible. The Holy Spirit will give you more understanding of the Bible if you that first. I was reading a little book about authority by Billye Brim. I read several pages. I stopped and confessed those Scriptures in Ephesians over myself and went back to read it. I saw so much and learned so much that I didn't see before. I could barely get off one page. So do that every time you read the Bible. And put those things into practice that I mentioned above and you won't stumble again. If you are not alone with a man you won't have an opportunity to do it. Keep your mind off of sex too. And do those other things and it will really help you. Ask God to help you and to show you what things you might be doing that is causing you to want to have sex. God will show you. And if you stumble again go back and see how it happened and don't do those things again. But not being alone will not give you the opportunity to have sex because hopefully you wouldn't do that around other people. I hope this helps you. And if the person won't agree to not see you in public and wants to see you alone then you need to ask God if you should be with that person or not.

For years I've been holding myself accountable for the sexual sin that I got myself into at a young age due to ignorance. I've always blamed myself for everything and never gave myself any room to fail and every time I did, I beat myself up about it big time. I harm myself physically because of this. I never forgave myself simply because i thought I never deserved it and I didn't know how to forgive me. I've sinned against the Lord and fallen for temptation to many times to count. I built my identity off of this sin and now i don't know who I am. I have a hard time believing that I am a child Of God and that I don't deserve any things the Lord has blessed be with. I'm mentally not okay and I fall deeper everyday. This message just wow.....It came at a needed time❤❤

I can relate. I was introduce to sexual sin at a very young age, which robbed me of my innocence and led me to primiscuse way of life, and hurting others- It's been hard to forgive myself, and even upset that if I was never introduce to sexual sin and robbed of my innocence perhaps my choices would be different. This message is for me, thank God Jesus doesn't see us base upon our sin. I think about the greats like Moses who was a murderer but God use him, and Saul who persecuted Christian name was change to Paul, Zachaeus robbed people with their taxes- but his encounter with Jesus changed his life, the woman caught in adultry was saved and redeem after her encounter with Jesus,and so many greats in the Bible, Jesus changed their lives, and change their stories, and they became history makers. I thank Jesus for seeing us through His eyes and redeeming us from sin and giving us a New Identity in Him, and helping us to forgive ourselves, and receiving His empowerment to become who He created us to be🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🕊

I’m in the process of forgiving those who’ve wronged me. But it was the deep rooted resentment towards myself for allowing people to wrong me without some sort of retaliation or putting myself in crazy situations, that made me despise myself. I could look in the mirror to get ready for work, do my hair, brush my teeth but to look at my reflection and tell myself, “I forgive you,” was probably one of the hardest things I’ve done all week... But it was also much needed. I’ve been praying to the lord to take me to the next level. I’ve realized I can’t if I’m bound by un-forgiveness. Pastor Mike!! I actually did it - took my first forgiveness steps and reached out to three people I had bad blood with for over a decade. Only by God’s grace and the Holy Spirit moving through your teaching could this happen! You know the crazy thing (I’m shouting AMEN! at the 3 minute mark of this sermon because) within a day of doing it.. I got to see.. It was never them I was holding hostage. It was ME!! The impact on the other person was kind of minimal but the impact on MYSELF is totally life changing! I can’t believe I was living in a prison of offence I had built for MYSELF since I was a teenager! Wow, I can't begin to say how much I need this. I walk around thinking that I am the nicest person in the world and my husband and family are always telling me how angry and snappy I am, and it all comes from unforgiveness, mainly for myself. The most important aspect of forgiveness indeed! So many of us stuck in our sinful ways because we can’t learn to let go of our past. We stay in our bad habits so long that we start to identify as our actions. But thanks to God’s mercy, even that last slip up does not define you. I pray for freedom for anyone going through addiction or struggling to forgive themselves for what they’ve done in Jesus’ name🙏🏽. And right in the clutch too, bless you Pastor Mike! Yoooooooooooo - This series is so humbling!!!!! (FORGIVENESS SHOULD BE YOUR NEXT BOOK). For a year I had been on a journey of humility and self love (forgetting about forgiving myself which cause me not to think I am worthy of his help...so I felt funny going to him for lots of things because I start thinking I didn’t deserve love as I didn’t forgive me to love me so I couldn’t recieve his forgiveness by owning my LOOAAAADD) and I only realised it properly last night before bed, I woke up different like a burden off my back gone then it was confirmed by this series. The eyes of heart are so open now to receive this cleansing and transformation!!!!

This is really blessing me. I have been searching and wondering what has been going on with me personally. I always knew I needed to learn how to forgive myself but didn't know the steps and I now see what stage I'm on. The Insulation. I have a hard time surrounding myself around people. And when I do, I'm not transparent and I hold in what's going on. I have the attitude of wanting to handle things on my own and that's when the enemy gets really busy. I don't want to be this way anymore. It has caused me to isolate myself, it causes me my humbleness and it has made me a bitter woman. I now know what needs to be done. Thank you God!

I’m 49y & have carried guilt, remorse, worthlessness, & more for the past 20yrs bc of my past choices & decisions… I have prayed for forgiveness from HIM & believed I was unworthy but also I did not understand how to begin the process of forgiving myself until now… THANK YOU for this sermon!!! Self forgiveness is a difficult thing. I think what’s ingrained in the problem is the inability to feel the grace of God. Forgiveness in the Bible is between us and others, and between us and God. I think we have problems “forgiving ourselves” when we actually just can’t seem to grasp and understand the amazing grace of God. The key to letting our past mistakes go, is taking hold of the Amazing grace of God NOW! Who keeps NO RECORD of wrong.

There are so many who have gone to seminary school, graduate believing they know the word of God, and yet the teach a lie. Just here crying like a baby from the start of the message. I needed to forgive myself truly. I am at point where I literally feel like a hot mess. Just yesterday I looked at myself in the mirror I saw myself struggling on different fronts and all I could say was "Ela you are just a hot mess! Jesus help me!" Don't get me wrong. Everytime it comes up choose to forgive, every time it hurts, make the choice to forgive, seconds become minutes, minutes become hours, hours become days….days you’re getting stronger it doesn’t come up so much, day’s become weeks…your smiling again….weeks become months….your life is transforming….months become years and you haven’t thought about it in so long, it’s become a laughable, non powerful offense, you love yourself and your strengthening in Faith. If you don’t accept Gods forgiveness by forgiving yourself, you’re allowing the enemy to come in and attack you. Once I felt insanely guilty for playing bad music w friends on the way to church😂 I asked God for forgiveness in the car & He understood. so when I was worshipping, I was hearing all these SUPER LOUD VOICES in my head “who do you think you are?” “You’re a hypocrite” yada yada and then I said to it, “if God forgave me and I forgave myself, then who are you?” And that thing FLED.
This all goes to prove that if I hadn’t forgiven myself, i would’ve given power to the enemy to condemn me. And in a way that could even be considered disobedience because if God forgave me, who am I to hold sins against myself that God already voided. That’s putting my view of self higher than Gods.
