I'm now remembering all the excitement and hype when the Octo expansion was first announced. A new story mode, new characters, and being able to play as an octoling. On my first time playing it I only skipped one level and I'm proud to say it wasn't girl power station. 😸 The octo expansion is fun to play and hopefully in a possible Splatoon 3 they have the story modes levels like/similar to it. You might not see this, but I have an idea for a hero mode nuzlocke. You can decide how many lives you get at the beginning of the nuzlocke, but you can’t change it afterwards. If you die, fall off the map, or break your armor you lose a life. The goal is to fight and defeat the final boss without losing all your lives. As for upgrading weapons, you can only upgrade your hero shot and ink tank to level 2. No unlocking any new bombs, and you have to start at square one (what I mean by that is: no power eggs or levels unlocked by the once you start. You have to earn everything). If you feel this is too easy or difficult, feel free to change it up a bit. (And yes, you can’t break your armor; that’s something I added to ensure that it isn’t too easy.) Hope you like it 😅
For octo samurai in octo expansion, after years of trying it I did it by using the strat of my own, saying: “GO DIE IN A HOLE GO DIE IN A BITCH” Yes yes it doesn’t make sense, but it worked for me because after years of trying I got it first try and he only hit me once. :>

My favorite part was definitely inner agent 3. I loved all those little autobombs chasing me. Oh yea, the rapid blaster on the crates level was my favorite too.
Alright, the inner agent 3 fight was hard. Stupid hard. But I didn’t mind for some reason. I mean girl power station? Three broken controllers. Bust a move? My rage was incomprehensible. But the inner agent three fight was great. Felt so good, even when I lost, it was interesting, with excellent ai that required skill to conquer, while also having patterns that you could learn and adapt to, all the while having the absolute BANGER of calamari inkantation in the background. Such a good fight
Finnally the time to flex on the fact that I've beaten every single level of the octo expansion in hardest difficulty (including the secret final boss) without skipping once
I won’t lie, the final boss that has the bombs on it is kinda good. By that I mean the music that plays during it. I gotta save the world while also fighting the urge to break into dance it’s just so damn good.
From the moment I saw the reveal trailer, I was expecting it to be hard. And that's why I was so excited to play it. "Finally! A single player mode that actually makes me better at the game!" is what I thought to myself when I saw that trailer.
I love the octo expansion to the fun and creative levels to begging my dad for four days till i got it. But honestly octo expansion was really fun to go through...sometimes *sweats profusely at that vicious grid level where you have to bust the targets on a rail with the banboozler* that level was the last level i beat with the final weapon Sorry for this being so long

I like the fact that I beat most of it with joycon drift except girl power, baller level and one other one I forgot. And I had to get new joycons to beat inner agent 3 no way was a joycon that made me rarely to never go forward slow by myself and a non stop right turning camera going to beat it.

I finished the Octo Expansion a few weeks ago, so yeah, I’m one of those 12 people 😅. Also when this video came out I must’ve had Splatoon 2 for less than a year because I had my NSO for about 2 years and something months I believe.
You know what I like about Octo Expansion? The untapped potential left by Nintendo as they FAILED to put it to good use(just look at concept arts for example).
