What Is The Most "Braindead" Splatoon 2 Weapon?

- Every splatoon 2 player has at least one splatoon 2 weapon that they have gripes with. There’s at least weapon that they can’t stand either because of matchup reasons or because they see it as requiring minimal effort to use. In terms of the latter, people often call those types of weapons “cheap” or “braindead”. But people can never agree on a definitive “most braindead” weapon in splatoon 2. So I wanted to study all the splatoon 2 weapon classes and see if I could come to a completely unbiased, totally real conclusion on what the most braindead weapon is. Also, no hard feelings if I insult your main weapon as we’re just having fun around here. What weapon do you think qualifies as this? As an Inkbrush main I can confirm that if a charger said they click the button more then I would probably die laughing
I main inkbrush and use charger, so I can comfirm that you click the button more times with brush than with a charger

I learned something after getting medals on all brush’s and playing so much with them, and it’s that they require quite the aim. At first glance, it’s just” if you slap them, they die”. But the side of the brush don’t deal nearly as much and the hit box is a bit smaller than it looks. Finally the ink sent out. It goes a bit further directly in the front and this makes a world of difference during gameplay. It can save you so much. Aiming with brush can mean slaying 3 people or being crush by a carbon roller like an “oddly satisfying “ video

6:50 clash blaster annoy me.....but blolobers annoy me more. I was playing splatoon 2 yesterday (im a dualie main) and was using my favorite the dapple dualies. They have very short range and the map was shellendorf istitute (sorry if i spelled that wrong) the blolober used its range and didnt let me even go near it. The clash blaster is still one of the most op weapens in the game, but its main weakness is the clash blaster's range. Easily with a splatershot pro you can kill it. But i have used the blolober once and it is very fun to use. 😁
Thank god you don’t use Clear Dapple Dualies. Splashdown spam is not fun to deal with (coming from an inkbrush main lol). Then again, regular dapple dualies love to take advantage of the beacons which is annoying.

Just played against tetra dualies with the autobombs special with full special saver gear. I would constantly hear the autobombs beeping.

I'm a Roller and Jet Squelcher main, if you have a long range player on the opposite team, you're in for a fun time. It may seem easy for close range opponents but if you're not an assassin the match has been decided and the fate is looking grim.
mmmmmm that sorta depends on what roller your using i can use carbon and splat and trying to learn dynamo and the big boi roll is just ... tears
@@sunnyfish5623 I'm a Splat Roller that barely goes to other rollers, since I find that efficient. I first tried the Flingza and...I was left with no words, the only sound that came out of my mouth was screams of fear.

As a carbon roller deco main, I'm glad but also surprised this weapon wasn't once mentioned in the video.
I don't think that carbon roller deco is a weapon for dum-dums since oftentimes you have to work with its low range so you cant take a long-range opponent a bunch of time safely so you have to keep trying to close the gap either by sneaking up on them from the back or rushing them down and after getting them with some ink (if you haven't already 1 shot them) you use a burst bomb to finish them off. so the carbon roller deco promotes using all of your tools available and is not a weapon only for dum-dums.

It’s easily a lot more brain dead in the first game. I was a Carbon Roller main, and it was much better back then.

I could've bashed rollers but you guys, especially carbons have to be very stealthy to nail their shots. If you're just out of the sweet spot, you blow your whole flank.
As I Tri-Slosher main i'll tell you that it's kinda braindead-
You just have to aim a bit in the enemy's directon and let the ink handle to rest. Though you do have to press ZR like your life depends on it if you miss
Once I got a quad with the clash blaster because the enemy team just started running into my shots. I felt really scummy for like 5 seconds.

I mean the dualies are the best weapon in game and octo shot is second best (in my opinion)

I agree with you for a lot of things The Clash Blaster mainly. I know you don't like brushes that much coming from a brush main myself they are quite strong but there are two types of brush players. One a absolutely spam trigger until they have an empty tank and the one that actually plan out what they're going to do. When I say I brush main barely use brushes anymore I don't know I've lost my touch with them

Me, who uses a tri-slosher, inkbrush, flicks like crazy with the carbon roller, and tap shots like heck with the hero charger, plays piano, and literally types essays everyday:
*At the end of the day, my hands hurt like heck*
My definition of how brain dead something is: The less you have to think, the more brain dead it is.
I have no patience for using Chargers, but getting hit by them is another story.
I played the Inkbrush for a straight week and my right arm started hurting on the 3rd day because I kept violently mashing the ZR button.
The Clash Blaster gave me a good 14 kills on ranked mode, so I’m thinking of using it on Turf War.
And YES, I use the Bloblobber as well.

Luna blaster.... The Luna blaster is 100% braindead. Nothing and no one can change my mind. I have three reasons for this:
1. It's a blaster so you barely have to aim anyway.
2. Its blast radius is the size of the moon. (Fitting because luna is spanish for moon lol)
3. By the time they get one indirect hit, it's usually already too late to escape.
I'm totally not salty about this weapon and the fact that everyone except me can actually use the Luna let alone blasters all together. Ha ha.... not salty at all.

As an Octobrush and Tri-Slosher Main, most people who use these weapons just fling the ink anywhere hoping to get a kill. A select handful, including me, are FRICKING ASSASSINS. I can murder anyone, and even if I die, the target goes down with me. Also in Splatoon I used to be a sniper god, but now my talent is gone and I suck at sniping. At most I get 5 kills per game. Splatling, however, I’ve gotten way better at, even easily taking down automatic shooters at close range. (I just realized I almost put my whole weapon experience in this comment. I can put the rest if this gets Edit: 50.)
^^^ yeah, ofc there's a whole host of weapons that get "easy" kills but it doesn't mean those weapons can't be deadly in the right hands or perhaps more usefully, push the objective. it's about knowing the met and working as a team, after all.

As an octobrush main in ranked battle, when I counted the amount of flicks I had to do to lose a dang battle was somewhere around 700 to 850, and that's in A RANK. In X rank, please that's *asking* for death.

Actually, I'd argue that the Undercover brella is more braindead. Not only does the shield essentially give you more health while you shoot, but unlike other Umbrellas, they don't need to balance the amount of time they shoot versus the amount of time the shield. Not only that, but it has more range than the clash blaster, making it easier to space and splat weapons that don't have as much range as the undercover.
I'm proud to be a Kensa Sloshing Machine main. The thing od tricky to use. But i love it

The regular Slosher is all about spacing, you gotta angle the shots upwards a bit for extra range too, it's very not braindead unlike its little cousin
