Totally agree with your review. I took delivery of my DCT in June. Don't agree that it's primarily a commuter. Iv'e done 4,500 miles on mine, 2 tours of Wales plus Devon & Cornwall. Got the pack which included the high screen & top box/rack (just use soft panniers for extras; hard luggage was £700 more with fittings for occasional use!) crash bars, LED lights and USB in the frunk. Most useful is the center stand, vital for chain adjustment and should be standard. Saying that the chain has only needed adjusting twice, another benefit of the ultra smooth DCT I imagine. Just keep it lubed :) Average 74.9 MPG over 4,500 miles taking in all roads/weathers. 210+ mile range. Reserve flashes at 175 but generous reserve. After 35 miles on reserve still only managed to squeeze 12 litres into the 14.1 litre tank. Great for touring on a budget. So much better (and lighter) than my old '96 Crosstourer DCT now I'm getting on a bit.
Out of sport driving this Honda dct is the future, don't know why others brands are sleeping
Perfect bike for all those red lights, no clutch to worry about, great review.
Great bike, love the dct, great taking off at traffic lights, in sports mode, just give her full throttle, wheel wont lift, and you leave everything behind. Great balance with the low centre of gravity, excellent mpg, a great bike for anyone
Totally agree. It's a very easy all round bike. I love riding the new NC750s
Agreed. I have the manual and I love everything about it!
Lovely bike, great review. You're other videos of the NC750X are well worth watching
I don't have a license yet but I sat on one today (NC750XD), to feel they weight and weight distribution and comparing it to the CB500, while the NC is heavier, the centre of gravity is way lower which is very noticeable and I do like that feature of the NC. Instrument display is better on the NC and leg position feels really good. I can definitely see the NC as a better platform for a comfortable touring trailer (TT) with upgraded suspension (longer travel), 19/17" wheel combo like the CB500X and a Rally-Raid modification... I think I found my bike - and many thanks for the review.
Out of the two I'd have the NC750X.
@@RevZolution I would like to make it a proper trail bike like in this video.

Great video, as usual. Good luck with Norm!
I have the 2023 version…..exactly the same as previous model except the extra grey silver colour, the one I have….waiting for better weather, then I’ll be out on it….I like my bike, it does what I require, and with my old motorbike injuries from 1981, having it DCT makes it so much easier to ride….yep I love my new bike…..cheers for the excellent in depth red light ridden trip…cheers…Karl from a very very stormy Jersey
Hi Karl thanks for commenting. I'm glad you're enjoying your bike. The more I've ridden this bike the more I can honestly say its brilliant.
@@RevZolution as the saying goes, if it looks good, then it’s going to be good…..and I do think it looks great, my silver grey colour for me is an almost nod to the 1989 Silver Dream 250……I have had a few bikes in the past, in 1978 I had my RD50M, then had a RD200, the very heavy plodder, GSX 250…..and finally in 1980 until the drunk driver spoilt things…my insane RD250LC……been a long wait, since I was 19, took a long time to recover from the accident……now I am ready and really looking forward to getting out on the roads on my island of Jersey…..Monday will be my first get out and about session…..I am a teeny bit nervous, but I will take it easy and feel the bike……so happy to get back to riding…..thanks for sharing your videos, really good to watch and listen to your opinions and chat….brilliant stuff…cheers…..and yes it’s so wild down here just now….
Sounds ideal for my next bike, I'm over 70 and starting to get some arthritis in my hands.
Great review, thanks.
You'll definitely enjoy the bike, thanks for watching
Excellent DCT review. Thank you 😊
Glad you liked it
As a Canadian I am still amazed at filtering. We can not do that here, I would love to at times. I cannot remember any bike dealer ever allowing me to test ride any machine either. Is this a fairly recent thing or could you always test ride bikes in the UK and we have not caught up yet? Great review and very rarely does Honda make a bad anything.
It's different from dealer to dealer. Most do have a selection of demo bikes to test ride which is good. But most second hand bikes they only let you ride if you're serious about buying it
good vid.
great bike. DCT is awesome.
hard to come by in the states at the moment.
Thanks 👍I can see why, it's awesome
Very nice video for Honda 750X DCT. Tank you. Luis from Lisbon - Portugal
Thank you for your feedback. Glad to see I'm being watched from Portugal 🇵🇹
Hi, is it really worth going for the 2021 model over the previous one?
Definitely, I have ridden a fair amount of miles on both.
The previous version I found dull, empty, no characters and uncomfortable.
Don't get me wrong, it's a good bike but just done nothing for me. This model I throughly enjoyed riding, it's got character. Honda done well revamping it
What's it like in a poor road surface with it's reduced suspension travel? Thanks
This one is very good. No problem at all put some semi off road tyres on and I think this bike will be very good at going off road as well
The only question I have that no one is showing is where is the rear brakes how you use them please show us how you control the rear brakes
Just like any manual motorcycle, the rear brake is activated using the brake pedal down by the right foot. Keep an eye on my channel and I'll be uploading a video about motorcycle basics, which will include things like that 👍
Sì può sapere il prezzo?
£7,549
Nice review! Thank you!
You're welcome. Thank you for watching
How much ?
They start from £8,379
Who has a center stand?
Loads. My Kawasaki GTR has a centre stand. And my Honda CBF 1000 did. They're so handy
Great but when coming to thailand !!
I'd love to come to Thailand....as for the bike....who knows. Shame you don't have it as its very good
You went through a couple
Red Light District
What is?
