This is a top whatever figure for me. I've liked all the Vader releases since the 2016 ANH version and this one is my favourite. One of the main things I was wishing for in the Kenobi series was a battle damaged cracked mask scene just so we would get a figure with a half anakin face. It's so cool to see the silhouette of Vaders mask with anakins face behind. I'm really surprised hasbro sculpted the slash in his back and didn't just stop at the cape slice.
Such a cool figure... They definitely knocked it out of the park with the helmet/face. Yeah, I missed the back slash on the suit... I didn't find it until later (after I finished recording) and just added it in the description box. Nice touch for sure. Thanks for checking out the review, Riley! 👊

I'm kinda glad they use the esb body, but I wish they give him updated legs. also the the black shoulders are accurate in the behind the scenes and production photos.
Yeah, the more I play with it, the legs are a bit funky - especially in the hips. And double-jointed knees are just not as attractive as single-jointed. I still love the figure though. Thanks for the info on the shoulders. I appreciate you checking out the video!
I don't mind that they used the ESB body despite it being different from ANH/Kenobi, especially since the tradeoff is superior articulation. Truly a nice-looking figure!
It's not the ESB body, it just has the same features as the ESB body because remember it has a molded light saber slash on his back which makes it a new mold brother
Same legs, same uppper arms, same cod piece, same chest armor, same belt, same shoulder bells, same articulation... The torso is new - different chest box (and the little 'scratch' on his back). And of course, a new helmet. I don't think I'd call the figure as a whole a 'new mold.' :)
This came in the other day, definitely one of the best Black Series figures! My torso armor is glued a bit off center, but that’s alright. Super glad this one has butterfly joints as well!

I got this one, but I'm waiting for the SHF version to arrive later this month. I pre-ordered Vader and the new Mando. You know SHF will knock it out of the park.

Very nice. I do wish the cloaks were smaller. I had to cancel my preorder along with the Commander. I will try and get it in the future. I have preordered the ANH Archive Vader and Archive Stormtrooper but will be staying in the packaging and going with my Rogue One Archive Troopers.

To bad they didn't make this fig so as we can remove the helmet like how the other youtuber removed it. Wonder how he did that? Anyways nice fig. I can't find any in my local targets here in El Paso. Fig is sold out. My other option is online order, which is what I think I'm doing tomorrow.

@@Matt_Bryant thank you...Aks are something special the first time you fire one..they eat any crap ammo to most exquisite..the Russian made a monster of all battle rifles...IMO..Been a starwars fan since 1977..i was 10..you have a super nice collection..all I have is the original 6 comics stored...cheers👍

When I was playing with figures. I loved to play with them in the bath. And it usually never damaged them
