Harold is such an outstanding actor. He's pivotal to the show. No Boyd, no FROM. I hope they don't make the mistake Walking Dead made when they got rid of Rick. It was never the same afterward. I'm rooting for Team Boyd.
@@viagotanega9898 Well, that's certainly a subjective judgement -- should he be giving a Shakespearean turn to the character. It's like how for years people legit believed that Adam West didn't have any idea what he was doing or that Shatner couldn't do comedy, he was just self-parodying. Obviously these people know what they're doing, and more specifically they know to do what the director wants.
@@KenLieck everything is subjective. And for someone who studied film, acting, and screenplay for going on 8 years now I said what I said. No one has to be Leo or De Niro but for the tone of the story being told, he does come off hammy, the inflection, what he does with his dialogue isn’t very good to the point where most times it can be off putting. This does fall on the director. It seems like he’s being given no clear direction, more so when his Boyd character is expressing frustration. Go back and watch those scenes. I challenge you. All that to say I really do enjoy him and I really love him as a person.
I’m two days late on this but this a good interview. His experience as actor shows immensely. I’ve seen interviews with the other actors and actresses, they were great and informative but his just stands out.
@MikaHasFaith MGM is a relatively obscure network that bought an even more obscure network that was Epix. It was a statement that pointed out the irony of the two networks.
"And it kind of predicts the future basically". Yeah, I agree here. The entity or entities know the future. Two cars will show up, try to find her but you won't. Can't in fact! Why is it like this? How is it possible even in a pocket universe for this to happen, etc? Well, suppose the entities are playing a game (the night walkers always say how they like to play), and they have chosen several dozen souls that represent human characteristics across the board, so you have the protective dad figure, the analytical creative mind figure, etc. And FROM is the gameboard. And every time, the bad team wins and the humans lose. Except this time, and that's why we get to see this generation of players (souls), who can successfully navigate an impossible game and be victorious. The other thing I wonder is how can a person with 100+ subscribers manage to talk to Harold Perrineau? And how are you so professional with your video when you're supposed to be so young in your timeline. Maybe you're "From" the future!?
In journalism you gotta make your calls and you gotta use your connects. This is a mighty tiny channel alright so I bet he's got some inside connects, but as an old print journo guy I've been mystified for years why some huge UA-camrs seem to think it's not worth even trying to contact PR people and trying to get interviews/press packets etc.
sounds like jealousy to me. If you must know because I've followed his original channel. He had thousands of subscribers before, but the channel was deleted or some craziness, so he started over is my guess.
@@michaelsanders6518 Interesting that the hidden part of my statement (which you have to click on "Read more" to see is the part that was replied. That explains a lot. My guess now (because this isn't just the only channel that has very low subscribers talking directly to the stars) is that this is just marketing and nothing more. Also, it takes time for an episode to be edited, so I don't believe for one second that the stars don't know what's going on. Those shows are already filmed. They have to be. You cannot just air a show because it's going to be next week. It takes time. So most likely, this is just marketing nonsense. And because of the replies I received, I'm going to stop watching the show and cancel my MGM+ subscription.
@@TJM-2023 Oh, I read your entire ridiculous comment, but please, cancel, you won't be missed. You are a prime example of why television has to be "dumbed down". Today's television audience isn't bright enough to handle a series like this and that's why you have nothing but cop, lawyer and hospital shows on. My suggestion to you is stick to those shows or better yet, something more your speed like cartoons or reality shows. That way, you don't have to use that tiny brain of yours. Oh and you're welcome.
FROM is such a phenomenal show and hats off to all the cast👏🏻👏🏻Don't want this show to end❤

Absolutely. He's got great energy
They didn’t get rid of Rick. The actor quit.
He’s honestly not good. He’s a very hammy, cheesy actor but it’s kinda why I love him. He’s a really good guy so you can’t hate him.

He is such a great and charismatic actor! Perfect as the leading man in this show! Loved him in Lost as well!
I have never in my 32 years of life been so obsessed with a TV show like I am of From ❤
I agree! Boyd had no choice in leaving Randall! Great interview!!
Great interview, I am deeply in love with the show

Loved his energy
MGM would be CRAZY to not renew. I never even heard of MGM until From.
then u never heard of EPIX then.😂
@ENTERTAINMENT-yv2ll never heard of Epix until From. Not sure of your point??
MGM(a larger but obscure network) bought Epix(an even smaller and obscure network). It was an ironic comment.
