    GG is a genius. Seen every one of his videos but this one. Summarizes many of his excellent teaching points. Thank you for posting!!! And thanks for impact snap, its golden and complimentary not contradictory to GG swing philosophy.

    George has great clarity and understanding....he really knows what he's looking at when he sees a golf swing.

    Seeing as I'm an Impact Snap owner I was really looking forward to watching George use one. Any video on that?

      Hey buddy, I’ve had 66 three times in the last 3 weeks and I work 2 full time jobs. If you understand what I’m just trying to explain you will play better golf. Thank you for the comment. Marty. Impactsnap

      IMPACT SNAP was not a comment on the content, just a tonnage and cheek comment on the setting.

    Although I believe that Gankas teaches an elite golf swing, he doesn't know the actual mechanics of an elite baseball swing. For that, he needs to study the teachings of Richard Schenck (www.youtube.com/@TeachermanHitting); he's the George Gankas of baseball.

    His famous pupil (Adam Scott) looks nothing like that at setup. His upper back is straight (not bowed outwards) and his lower back is arched inwards. Just the opposite of this video instruction. Why is that? Not saying this video is wrong ( this method worked for Jack) just wondering why Scott is not doing it. IMO it's much easier to maintain a steady head and it's easier to rotate around your spine if the spine is straight as possible.

      TheNYgolfer Scott actually slightly moves backwards in transition, so there’s no need for it with him. Gankas has mentioned this before in regards to Adam Scott.
      It’s all about matchups.

      Thanks for the reply. Is there a video where Gankas talks about Scott regarding this issue?

      TheNYgolfer he’s talking more about the lower body action in this video. His thoughts on setting up with an arched spine and butt tucked in is supposed to make it easier to rotate the lower body through the ball and clear your left side. Scott worked with Butch Harmon for a long time coach before gg so yes, Scott hasn’t adopted all of his methods. Still clearly believes in the guys understanding of the golf swing though.

      Scott addresses the ball out of the neck of the club and forces himself to move back to find sweet spot. Scott had lessons with George and they addressed this issue because Scott himself didn't like what he was doing. I notice Scott subsequently was more rounded at address. Also, why would you want a steady head? At least in vertical terms, we want that thing moving up and down out of necessity from using vertical ground pressure correctly. Look at a laundry list of hall of fame golfers and you'll see loss of head height pretty much without exception. It's basically mandatory, and for good reason.

    you guys are such goofballs by posting this. a random snippet from a personal lesson... what does this have to do with impact snap? oh yeah nothing! just like everyone else trying to use george as context to their brand... when in reality they have zero understanding as to why he teaches what he does.

      Morgan. Thank you for your comment. I have studied George for 3 years. He is the closest thing I have seen to the teaching of Kelvin Miyahira, the inventor of the IMPACTSNAP. I had the opportunity to book him for a morning at $350 per hour. Well worth it. I look forward flying out again in July and seeing George again. There is plenty of content that I will not publish, this I thought was valuable to those who know Kelvin. Thank you.

      Maybe because you still need a functional pivot to go along with the impact conditions that the Impact Snap trains.

    • @IMPACTSNAP
      @IMPACTSNAP  5 років тому

      Scott Sanders There are a few functional pivots that work in golf. GG’s is one that works. Look at my other videos, I demonstrate some others.

      @@IMPACTSNAP Cool, I'll search them out, GG's pivot is tough to master but I think is superior to a slide and turn approach. I bought an ISD from Kelvin about 6 years ago, and still use it....
