Nothing I have ever been taught has made more sense than this. I would get upset with myself for not moving my hips before the arms. But half the time, even if I did start with my hips, I would straighten up and thin the ball. Gankas taught me to start with knee movement. The hips follow. I never have to remember that anymore. They just follow. Then I launch into a pelvis up contact while the left arm still points down in front. My hip "position" is perfect without thought. This is a game chaqnger!

@13:20 not sitting on your back foot which many people think. Like George has said a million times you needed to get pressure forward, just in proper sequence. Also don’t forget a key component, right lateral bend to make sure the body is balanced around the spine. You can get it wrong and easily end up back legging it if you’re afraid of the bump/slide

My advise, look at lots of is clip on the GG channel, (even if he has leaved that channnel, the guy who runs it use the clips)... I have bought George's serie about the Pivot & I think in this bref chat with Travis he sums it up... I was not really thrilled about the Pivot Serie that they are selling at GG SwingTips, I was hoping for drills & in my opinion it's lacking

He's a swing guru and arguably an oily salesman who obviously rushes through his presentation to intentionally confuse the viewer and leave their mind spinning. He's essentially pulling the wool over people's eyes. He does it in every video. It's funny to me that people don't realize that he's intentionally being very confusing, speaks quickly, and uses whacky terminology which would boggle the majority of viewers. It's a classic deception technique to get people intrigued. To believe he has some revolutionary thoughts that you could only gain access to if you are anointed. Just like a cult leader. LOL!

Here’s the recipe: (1) Be somewhere north of 30. (2) Sit in a chair at your office five days a week and don’t work out or stretch. (3) From comfort of your couch on Sunday, watch Matthew Wolff swing and win. (4) Get excited and start watching George Gankas videos such as this one while you swing a club in your house. (5) Go to range and try these moves on your own. (6) Limp or crawl into office of an orthopod, get MRI and prescription for six-eight weeks of physical therapy. (7) Move on to next swing idea and announce-for 5,000th time-I got it!

Gigs assumptions are incorrect. It’s not a binary error from his “posture error” observation. John Wright says shaft lean eliminates both early extension AND “throwing your angles”. Here, we see gig spit words without knowledge. But, he wears his hat wide... so that’s cool. Wright has been advocating a flat downswing for years. Hell... a decade. And, with an open stance, it happens automatically, over time.

Yes, he knows the swing, but over complicates it in a teaser video to sell memberships which is fine for him, but Every time I watch his stuff my head spins and my swing gets f'd up. Then I go back to Mike Malaska, get the natural swing feels back, and I'm all good. The golf swing isn't rocket science. I understand golf inst. is big $$, but it's a shame that Travis would jump on this kind of confusion instruction when it doesn't have to be. It might be the latest golf instruction to blow up YT, but you could never learn the swing from his videos. GG is great at selling his style, but not truly concerned about growing the game with easy to understand teaching for struggling golfers.

I have just discovered this after seeing Matt Wolf - he has one thing correct - maybe two - his name is correct, and the statement on the swing sequence not being static P1 ect. positions but motion sensitive are absolutely correct. Regarding external rotation / I have never seen anyone lay the club horizontal as he demonstrates on the transition unless we switch to baseball. ( the movements he describes are nano movements- not broud strokes unless he is referring to beginners) Golf needs characters like George rock n roll bro! :) Ps. Hogan pushed off his right instep early in transition, Hogan also flared his left foot. You should address these issue or your opinion! ✌️

You have a choice. You can immerse yourself in George Gankas UA-cam videos and then take your “learning” to the driving range and practice Gankas moves until you get a good, serviceable swing that you can play with for the rest of your life. The other thing you can do is have yourself dropped into the middle of a remote wilderness with no food, water, map or compass. Same result, less agony.
