- The Jim Ladd Innerview of Gregg Rolie and Steve Perry. This is a very rare interview with Steve Perry and Gregg Rolie. They talk about People and Places and Politics. Please watch the entire video. This interview was made for radio and there is no real video to accompany the audio. I put this together with glue and paste. This is side two of the album and the conclusion.
The songs had to be removed for copyright purposes, otherwise this is the complete version of side 2 of the album. These records were made for radio stations to play. I added some content to watch while listening to the interview so you're not just looking at a picture the whole time.

Journey has wonderfully talented musician's in the group, Steve Perry is by far my favorite. His voice and his emotions that go into his music bring it to a whole new level. Steve I love that you did not let success change who you are.
I love Journey... but knowing what we know now about this entire industry, the young girl/“jelly-roll” part lands different.
Agreed! Figured it was going this way once I heard that SP was "violated" when he was 8-9 yo. Then you hear all this, breaks my heart. No wonder he's been single all these years.
@@kimadkison4432 I feel the same. He says that Kelly was the “love of his life”, and that may be true, but she was also dying of terminal cancer when he met her. He knew there was no permanent commitment there. And I mean absolutely no disrespect, but if you know you know.
@@katiejon17 exactly Katie! Interesting also, he has a girl child that he won't talk about and grandchildren that he won't talk about either. Wonder why? Privacy? Or, something deeper? Got a "child" pregnant, and here we are today. Just thoughts.

@@kimadkison4432 That’s a possibility. My understanding though was that it was a brief fling with a young woman, and I thought she didn’t tell him for years. I’ve always respected him keeping that daughter and her children off-limits. The entire industry is horrific though, so who really knows.

I have loved everything about Steve Perry and his music, with one exception Jelly roll. That is the one song that doesn't go along with the person, I have come to believe you are.

That would be wrong to change the interview. I don't believe in censorship unless someone is getting hurt. This is what the guys said. Freedom of Speech. You can always turn off the channel.

Hmm, "Innerview" is almost a UA-cam concept, or vice versa, with the "view" being our own view that we publish to the world with our own content, or "view".
Dang i love steve but he sounded kinda pervy and creepy. :/
