I regret watching this video. I love this song but now I freaking hate it. I didn’t realize these men were pedophiles. The people excusing these grown men having sex with children is disgusting. Definitely shows me who you are behind closed doors.

Because Journey was a live band first and foremost. Those dudes knew that they looked like fools for doing those three videos for the Frontiers album: Chain Reaction, After The Fall, and Separate Ways.

Steve was so tickled by that star that he used to lurk nearby and photo-bomb people taking their pictures with it. Two young ladies were lying on the sidewalk on either side of it to get a picture when he sneaked up and lay down on the sidewalk right behind them! He told them he had been having coffee nearby and saw them from there. My question for you, is there a coffee shop close enough that he could have seen them from it?

The escape one of that black one yes they’re beautiful! I’m not sure, but I think there are custom print shirt companies where you can submit graphics and they could probably make those re-create them or you can design your own. I don’t know if you caught it on eBay a little while back or maybe you have it in your collection, but I think one of the most beautiful journey related and it was official, clothing items was the red or burgundy satin Departure jacket. It had embroidery had the scarab Freebird and it had 1980 with the eight on its side to indicate Infinity. I was just going through my journey patch collection. Those are really fun too and I think those can also be custom-made at this point even larger!

I still have my journey tour shirt from 1983’s concert that we went to in Honolulu. It’s got the Frontiers logo and the volcano on it. Pretty cool shirt. I’ve never been able to see another one online for sale anywhere. It’s in excellent condition.

I LOVE 'Believe', Steve Augeri did an amazing job, fantastic performances. I wish he would have stayed in Journey looking back. I remember photos fans took with Journey, especially Steve Perry casually walking Hollywood Blvd, I totally missed it. Thank you for this!

I love 'With a Tear". I wish they would've been able to record the version with Steve's vocals. It has that amazing feel-good sound from the '86 era.

"For You" is NOT "Let It Rock You"! Completely different lyrics and not even the same tune.

The 12th Song wouldn't be called "For You" because Journey already recorded and released a song called "For You," which was a demo recorded by Robert Fleischman in 1977. The song was rerecorded and released by Fleischman with Gregg and Neal on the Fleischman's first solo album. The demo was released in 1991 on Time3 Disc 1. In fact, "Let It Rock You," which is for more likely the actual title. Both demo versions of "With a Tear" and "Let It Rock You" have been on UA-cam for years. The credits for the songs you gave are also slightly in correct. In 1985, Ross Valory and Steve Smith were let go, with Ross being initially replaced with Bob Glaub, who's base parts were paired with Steve Smith, both of whom are featured on three tracks from Raised on Radio (Positive Touch, Eyes of a Woman and Why Can't This Night Go On Forever). Randy Jackson, who was on Frontiers (After the Fall), and Larrie Londin were brought in to replace Glaub and Smith. Londin didn't want to tour, so they got Mike Baird. It's very likely that the Frontiers line-up recorded "Let It Rock You" for Freedom (which became Raised on Radio), but could've featured Bob Glaub on bass and Smith on Drums, while "With a Tear" is likely the Glaub/Smith period, or while the band was trying to recruit Jackson/Londin.

I remember the fleshed out instrumental Jon and Neal made of With a Tear for the box set after the band went on hiatus. If I recall it was something that was never fully developed for ROR. I think it was the same with another song they worked up into an instrumental called Into Your Arms--also on the box set.
