I have a video idea for you: Heavy Arcane Dexterity using Eleonoras Poleblade in the right hand as well as the Godskin Peeler with Seppuku in the left hand. i use this comb and i mostly rely on jump attacks for the blood loss effect as well as the weapon skill of eleonoras' for stagger and a free crit.
Definitely did not expect this to benefit from winged sword. Bows don’t even benefit from it and they hit physically at range too. Bows really were left in the dust
FromSoft games have always had shitty archer builds since they were likely just put in for variety's sake and never meant to used as a main build. Atleast Elden Ring gives you SOME benefits with them now atleast.
Another awesome build as usual! I don't know if you've made a build centered around the storm ashes of war yet, they're pretty underutilized and don't have many good ways to make the most out of them.
Ng+ territory is nice and certainly more unexplored on this channel, but I love those 50 100 and 150 builds still too! It's fun to find multiple of them to combine into a single playthrough
I done my first run with this build! Definitely recommend this build especially for how cool it is You can use AOE shouts and a CRAZY jump attack and you get to wield 2 ULTA greatsword in weight of 1!!!
In my first playthrough I managed to run with this and it was fun. I used the talisman to increase equip load and was fine. I think I sometimes switched out the helmet for the Exile's hood and it looked awesome. If I had issues with weight or a fast paced boss, I would switch to his helmet and then a lighter weapon like the BHF. That's how I beat Malenia. But I was doing a ton of damage and loved rolling through groups of enemies with this Radahn build by the end.
Next up we need a int/faith necromancy build with ancient death rancor. I’ve been trying to figure out what talismans and shit would be best. Sword of NF, Death poker, Steeple etc for NG plus. It’s a struggle to figure out what works right for a split build
The play is you get to like 25ish faith and go full int. Any int fth build is going to be inefficient since only 3 weapons exist in both stats. Sword of night and flame, a flame art claymans spear, or a cold/magic erdsteel dagger. Just be an int build but with enough fth to cast the incants you want. Can always over level a bit if you aren't doing the damage you want
The did builds for that kinda stuff at 50, 100 and 150 so you can probably use those as a base. They mostly focus on int so going into NG+ you'd probably just want to start on the faith side of things while also boosting vigor, mind and endurance as needed
Radahn cosplay/build has been pretty rife since months. Anyway thanks for posting, but would love to see some really rare unique builds. Or you can try a meme build of the finger weapon. That would be funny

I've always wanted to use this weapon in a cool build, especially with Radahn's armor, my only gripe with the weapons is with this stat investment there are other weapons (looking at you Fallingstart Beast Jaw and Ruins Greatsword) that I like to use a bit more. But you've given me the idea to rotate in the Starscourge Greatsword and make use of that awesome ash of war.
On your point in how to make this build work, I really feel one of the series biggest weakneses is the fact by the time you get some of the coolest weapons the game is basically almost over, so you don't really get to enjoy them. New game+ is a nice way to mid negate that, but it's one of the reasons why I prefer Nioh over souls, for you get access to everything instantly allowing you to play how you want fairly quickly.
You can easily manage this Build in NG actually , just straight up after Killing Radhan... At exactly Level 100 if not even lower. Main catch is that you spare up the Endurance points , and save them for mainly Vigor , STR and few others to Mind Dex and alil bit of Endurance.... ( You only need like 25 Base Endurance with this Build , but you Have to equip 3 main Talismans Erdtree's Favor +1 or +2 Favorably , Arsenal Jar from Caelid and lastly Radagon's Soreseal ). With those 3 Talismans your set to have this Build even if you are mainly just a main Strength/Vigor build... I assume you atleast save up 40 Levels with these setting Talismans , and the Last Talisman Slot could be yours to juggle with. So technically this Build is aquireable from Level 100-120 favorably with abit lower Mind and Endurance but Vigor and Strength are Maxed to the Hardcap at levels 100-120.
You get just lower the stats. Some of these ng+ builds weapons can be obtained before the endgame (exceptions like his hand of malenia and malekiths black blade build.)
He's made around 100 bills that aren't in New game plus. I don't know just look. If there's something you like but isn't quite to your taste pick pieces of it that you like and pick pieces from a different build and add them together
I was thinking that a Faith/Arcane Build around the Use of Dragon and Lightning Spells with something like Dragon Kings Cragblade or Bolt of Gransax would be Epic , Especially one from Fextralife
It’s unfortunate that neither of those weapons scale with faith and just dex. I guess at least in a hills like that the dex required would help cast speed although I never really noticed it much in my build similar to that
True , Still maybe a Lightning Based Samurai could be created to Scale With Dex since it’s disappointing that Lightning and Ancient Dragon Lightning seems to be heavily under-utilised , apart from the occasional Tanky Paladin Build utilising 1 or 2 Lightning Incantations
Feel like for boss fights off handing the highland axe and switching to roar Medallion would be worth it since there won't be other enemies to proc the rotten wing sword and prosthesis, which is fun cuz I love having different things for different tasks
Would love to see some build around Dragon Halberd or Dragonscale Blade, not awful but not great weapons that are truly marvelous in terms of "looks" with its Ice Lightning effect.

I think the only thing that is left uncovered gravity wise is a weapon with waves of darkness (astel ash of war). It would be nice to see what would you pair it with (both weapon wise and additional tools). Then gravity will be truly covered
Clearing that courtyard with the flamers and all the exiles in sotrmveil in one or two screams has gotta feel real good. A ng+ build for for (cross)bow and or a Page build wouldn't be much different than your other lower level builds, would it?
@@devinport. not true, you still have to specialize. you can't even use the best staff in the game effectively before lvl 250 (prince of death). Multi-stat scaling weapons become more interesting in higher levels, and you see the rise of other melee weapons like the sword of night and flame. You can also ditch match and go full ungabunga on a med roll and switch your talismans around. Have you even explored builds at that level?
Nice build. I recently did one fairly early NG with this sword. I got the Int and Dex where they needed to be, strength to where I could 2H the sword, and I think Mind to 17. I also got arc to 12 and Fai to 15 so I could use rot breath (to weak to take on Radahn this early without it). I took out Radahn, then Rennalla, so I could properly respec. This early with the min stats for the Sword, out does more than enough damage up through Morgott. I compromised on the armor with the Mausoleum set and greathelm to get 52 poise. Using the Carian Fillsgree Crest and Sacrificial Axe I could get off three Starcaller Cries. Again this early, this is more than enough with a couple of FP flanks. Then I went 2 Vig, 1 Mind, 1 End, until I could get 40 Vig and wear Radahn's Armor. Then back to leveling Str, Dex and Mind for the weapon. Worked well for NG
Honestly I was surprised to see Radahns swords being left alone for a while in the early months of Elden Ring. I still don't see many builds that utilize the insane potential of his greatswords, they literally do double the stated damage when held in two hands!

just finished my 7th elden ring run with the Radahn swords and they are just not good tbh..... yeha i managed to beat all bosses solo no spirit ashes but the weapons are pretty meh. Slow....the Weapon Art always is a damage trade off since enemy will hit you , too (allthough you get 70% reduced damage.) mediocre range... mediocre damage....slow weapon....basically besides looks nothing good
I was very hiped by these weapons and basically upgraded them +10 directly since they look bada$$ and have a pretty high output damage overall for an offtank build, especially if you started astrologer. I started using them around lvl 110 against Rykard and i was decently impressed before i found out i could beat him easily with Serpent-Hunter. Then i tried to use them against Mohg and found the awful reality: the attack speed is comparable to other colossal weapons and damage is maybe a little better compared to others. The actual problem is reach is absolutely ridicously low and needs a buff, Mohg just had to turn in order to prevent me from hitting him, the skill is a pretty good AoE against mobs, unfortunately it's completely useless against bosses since they extremely slow cast time which leaves you completely exposed the whole time and dps doesn't justify the risk. It's also VERY bad as cavalry weapon since you attack with only one sword and as said earlier the reach is just too bad. Before this i used the Fallinstar Beast Jaw and it was definetly WAAAAAAAAAAAAAY better, requirements were similar (just 3 points away considering helms), it has good reach, it has a great skill which allows you to easily stagger at distance and deals decent damage and it's a great cavalry weapon which can stagger and make the tinies-normal fly with a single slash. These 2 weapons really can't be compared as i don't see any reason to consider Starscourge better if not for the fact for some reason Fallingstar skill is basically useless against humaoids and just doesnt hit them, which makes me think Starscourge was probably designed for PvP maybe?
I came in expecting some kind of jump attack / AoW hybrid, and left with the knowledge that the first part of the skill triggers the multi-hit shenanigans. Very clever use of game mechanics, well done! My only disappointment when talking about additional Endurance was that it wasn't for the Lion Greatbow to complete the cosplay and its large-target melting ash, but overall, I dig it. Gives me some ideas to explore :)
Nice one! Those NG+ cosplay builds are really cool and fun to play. I feel like Meteoric Ore blade would fit nicely in this build with such stat distribution as a backup faster weapon or as an NG prequel to it.
Will the combo of the two talismans obtained from Millicent be as useful with the "lord" sword from the dlc (considering that its special move makes three consecutive attacks)? Or am I wrong?
I don't understand why he has the ax equipped in his second hand, but he still carries the Radahn weapon twice?? Because if I equip the Radahn weapon twice, the weight is much too high... at 85
I played this as my first build level 90 with the dexterity and strength talisman and radagons soreseal plus the on that raises hp ,stamina and vigor it's great
10% on initial investment < 10% on second investment ... if a bunch of enemies get hit... Goooottttchhhhaaaaaaaaa I mean, neat breakdown of Roar vs Insig but you are harping on the 'asterik' downside of Roar (not viable for the whole NG+) and allowing Insig to bring its own asterik into battle... "if you hit a bunch of enemies with the initial shout", totally leaving out the fact that the first shout can be done WHENEVA, and the second swing is only available AFTER the shout has cost you some FP. I am sure no one has ever run out of FP in times of need after shouting... that never happens. Alternative? Roar... twice if you have to? LOL Not to mention I have probably been hit during the slam about 100x as often as I have been hit during the shout. I.e.... shout-hop-shout-dead vs shout-blowtrade-slam-dead
Roar Medallion is situational as you farm the Albinaurics on the hillside, I one-shot all greys with the first part of the Weapon Art. Please don't discount it as useless in late game, as it has a huge role in level generation far into new game plus and new game plus plus. (I'm lvl 358 with this build) In addition, Takers Cameo is also situational for rune farming as it can instantly recoup any damage received during the wind up of the second part of the Starcaller Cry Weapon Art. With this build, you can see why (lore-wise) Radahn is/was so powerful. With all the gear so easily attainable early in game, this build (IMO) is all you need for start to finish and beyond. Easily one of my favorites and a blast to play. One final note... you will have all the stats for the Radahn's Great Bow as you progress... add and use it as your intro/leadoff skill into any/all boss fights before switching to Sword(s) as it has a Weapon Art that does TREMENDOUS damage from a distance, especially on big targets like dragons.
Speaking of Fat rolling is there a shield tank build where you can just turtle all day that is actually good? I tried a fat roll build for like 1 minute with Maria's Executioner's Sword and a 70 guard boost shield, but quickly gave up on it as it was quite ineffective. It could have been b/c the enemy was a Zamor Warrior in their ruins and they have curved swords I think, so it may have been suboptimal regardless.
Not urgent, but I'd be interested to see some takes on NG++ builds - i.e. builds that scale well and can stand up to later NG levels. Usually this means it's going to be a weapon with decent base damage along with C or greater scaling in two or more stats
All you need is one good stat scaling and you can at least use incants/spells to buff it. Like a keen nagakiba with 60 dex/60 int could be buffed with scholars for another few hundred AR. or yeah just make it cold and still use it's innate dex scaling
With SotE being released, do you think this build needs to be improved on talismans and/or armor? I was thinking of using Young Lion's Helm for my female character that is using this build.
The main cons of this sword is how short the sword is, i had a hard time jump attacking a boss that keep move around if enemies move a little it would be a miss. And not only that this sword skill is pretty much useless against a single boss unless there was more than one boss then this sword is better. So if i fight 1 boss which is most of the boss fight in this game i can only use normal or charged attack but for that cool sword pattern and badass look i would willing to suffer in this build. (It was a pretty good farming weapon in moghwyn palace if you dont have rune sword)

When I play this game, I don't limit myself by setting an invisible MENTAL level cap to abide by. I wanna be doing as much damage to these bastards as possible.

How you can have both millicent prostetic and the rotten sword insigna? Is this a late NG+ build or did you just kill Millicent at the first NG+ encounter?
I think recently that the roar medallion got buffed to include the follow-up in the buff as well as the sheik of Milo’s skill altered moveset for the sword of Milo’s from the dung eater
This is my build I love it and I have a way to use it at level 60 with fat rolling but in boss fights I use a potion witch makes it where I light roll for boss fights

An end game build or ng+ build centered around ice and fire would be awesome blasphemous blade and dark moon greatsword work well they end up having around 700 ar each plus high incant scaling using golden order seal

I run a Radahn cosplay as well, but at level 125: 50 VIG, 25 MND, 28 END, 50 STR, 20 DEX, 16 INT, with Great-Jar's Arsenal, Erdtree's Favor +2, and two others that i'll swap depending of the situation (for exploring i use Carian Filigreed's Crest and Dragoncrest Greatshield, for invasions/duels i use Bull-Goat's Talisman and Crimson Amber Medallion +2, etc). Thanks for the great job of creating and testing these builds
No, when he says u need 15 Int, thats only because the weapon requires at least 15 int to use, but if u want level ur Int higher because their are other things u want to use that require more Int, then its fine to level it more. Also, since this is a Str scaling weapon, that would be the thing i would level the most to get the most damage out of it.
Man I'd love to see some buffs and fixes to the roar medallion and Godfrey icon. Seems like there are several things they should work for and don't, and they're underwhelming even in when they're used properly.

Im an archer main and i was really dissapointed of the poor scaling bows and especially crossbows since they dont have scaling to begin with.

So many builds locked behind the abstract 150lvl limit. You can find non-stop pvp at lvl 300 and very interesting builds.
at lvl 300 it stops being a build and becomes a jack of all trades

Slow....the Weapon Art always is a damage trade off since enemy will hit you , too (allthough you get 70% reduced damage.) mediocre range... mediocre damage....slow weapon....basically besides looks nothing good

I use this build for my 2nd run. However, I change armor. Rhadan set is too heavy and I also use Lion bow. You can be good at melee and range.
You should do a ruin great sword build next!
I really hope in the dlc they add where if you imbue your swords with gravity you can do a heavy dual-power gravity attack
Just killed Consort Radahn with this Radahn build. Was pretty amusing
I was very hiped by these weapons and basically upgraded them +10 directly since they look bada$$ and have a pretty high output damage overall for an offtank build, especially if you started astrologer. I started using them around lvl 110 against Rykard and i was decently impressed before i found out i could beat him easily with Serpent-Hunter. Then i tried to use them against Mohg and found the awful reality: the attack speed is comparable to other colossal weapons and damage is maybe a little better compared to others. The actual problem is reach is absolutely ridicously low and needs a buff, Mohg just had to turn in order to prevent me from hitting him, the skill is a pretty good AoE against mobs, unfortunately it's completely useless against bosses since they extremely slow cast time which leaves you completely exposed the whole time and dps doesn't justify the risk. It's also VERY bad as cavalry weapon since you attack with only one sword and as said earlier the reach is just too bad. Before this i used the Fallinstar Beast Jaw and it was definetly WAAAAAAAAAAAAAY better, requirements were similar (just 3 points away considering helms), it has good reach, it has a great skill which allows you to easily stagger at distance and deals decent damage and it's a great cavalry weapon which can stagger and make the tinies-normal fly with a single slash. These 2 weapons really can't be compared as i don't see any reason to consider Starscourge better if not for the fact for some reason Fallingstar skill is basically useless against humaoids and just doesnt hit them, which makes me think Starscourge was probably designed for PvP maybe?
Radahn's swords are baaad in PVP.
I'm glad you made an NG+ guide for this as this is my main and I havn't played ER since I finished it so it will be good to jump back on this build

I came in expecting some kind of jump attack / AoW hybrid, and left with the knowledge that the first part of the skill triggers the multi-hit shenanigans. Very clever use of game mechanics, well done!
My only disappointment when talking about additional Endurance was that it wasn't for the Lion Greatbow to complete the cosplay and its large-target melting ash, but overall, I dig it. Gives me some ideas to explore :)
Nice one! Those NG+ cosplay builds are really cool and fun to play. I feel like Meteoric Ore blade would fit nicely in this build with such stat distribution as a backup faster weapon or as an NG prequel to it.
Do you upgrade the Sacrificial Axe to max as well or just have it equipped as your side weapon for the passive ability???
its more for the passive ability, so if ur not using the axe to attack than i would not upgrade it.

Will the combo of the two talismans obtained from Millicent be as useful with the "lord" sword from the dlc (considering that its special move makes three consecutive attacks)? Or am I wrong?
I don't understand why he has the ax equipped in his second hand, but he still carries the Radahn weapon twice?? Because if I equip the Radahn weapon twice, the weight is much too high... at 85

I played this as my first build level 90 with the dexterity and strength talisman and radagons soreseal plus the on that raises hp ,stamina and vigor it's great
10% on initial investment < 10% on second investment ... if a bunch of enemies get hit...

I mean, neat breakdown of Roar vs Insig but you are harping on the 'asterik' downside of Roar (not viable for the whole NG+) and allowing Insig to bring its own asterik into battle... "if you hit a bunch of enemies with the initial shout", totally leaving out the fact that the first shout can be done WHENEVA, and the second swing is only available AFTER the shout has cost you some FP.
I am sure no one has ever run out of FP in times of need after shouting... that never happens.
Alternative? Roar... twice if you have to? LOL
Not to mention I have probably been hit during the slam about 100x as often as I have been hit during the shout. I.e.... shout-hop-shout-dead vs shout-blowtrade-slam-dead

I like using blasphemous blade on my back along with the talisman to heal and a lot of poise to support a very aggressive berserker like build
Roar Medallion is situational as you farm the Albinaurics on the hillside, I one-shot all greys with the first part of the Weapon Art. Please don't discount it as useless in late game, as it has a huge role in level generation far into new game plus and new game plus plus. (I'm lvl 358 with this build) In addition, Takers Cameo is also situational for rune farming as it can instantly recoup any damage received during the wind up of the second part of the Starcaller Cry Weapon Art. With this build, you can see why (lore-wise) Radahn is/was so powerful. With all the gear so easily attainable early in game, this build (IMO) is all you need for start to finish and beyond. Easily one of my favorites and a blast to play. One final note... you will have all the stats for the Radahn's Great Bow as you progress... add and use it as your intro/leadoff skill into any/all boss fights before switching to Sword(s) as it has a Weapon Art that does TREMENDOUS damage from a distance, especially on big targets like dragons.

Speaking of Fat rolling is there a shield tank build where you can just turtle all day that is actually good? I tried a fat roll build for like 1 minute with Maria's Executioner's Sword and a 70 guard boost shield, but quickly gave up on it as it was quite ineffective. It could have been b/c the enemy was a Zamor Warrior in their ruins and they have curved swords I think, so it may have been suboptimal regardless.
I didtched this weapon about mid way though my playthrough the first time and it my biggest regret….
Not urgent, but I'd be interested to see some takes on NG++ builds - i.e. builds that scale well and can stand up to later NG levels. Usually this means it's going to be a weapon with decent base damage along with C or greater scaling in two or more stats
All you need is one good stat scaling and you can at least use incants/spells to buff it. Like a keen nagakiba with 60 dex/60 int could be buffed with scholars for another few hundred AR.
or yeah just make it cold and still use it's innate dex scaling
At that point you're just pushing our stats up, there's no point really

I was thinking of using Young Lion's Helm for my female character that is using this build.
The main cons of this sword is how short the sword is, i had a hard time jump attacking a boss that keep move around if enemies move a little it would be a miss. And not only that this sword skill is pretty much useless against a single boss unless there was more than one boss then this sword is better. So if i fight 1 boss which is most of the boss fight in this game i can only use normal or charged attack but for that cool sword pattern and badass look i would willing to suffer in this build. (It was a pretty good farming weapon in moghwyn palace if you dont have rune sword)

I'm running the battlemage hood and crow armor with the jump attack talisman with this since the aow is impossible to pull off for most bosses.

Makes sense to switch to the Highland Axe during boss fights since the benefit from Sacrificial Axe is negated by lack of dying guys.
I think recently that the roar medallion got buffed to include the follow-up in the buff as well as the sheik of Milo’s skill altered moveset for the sword of Milo’s from the dung eater

This is my build I love it and I have a way to use it at level 60 with fat rolling but in boss fights I use a potion witch makes it where I light roll for boss fights

I run a Radahn cosplay as well, but at level 125: 50 VIG, 25 MND, 28 END, 50 STR, 20 DEX, 16 INT, with Great-Jar's Arsenal, Erdtree's Favor +2, and two others that i'll swap depending of the situation (for exploring i use Carian Filigreed's Crest and Dragoncrest Greatshield, for invasions/duels i use Bull-Goat's Talisman and Crimson Amber Medallion +2, etc). Thanks for the great job of creating and testing these builds

No, when he says u need 15 Int, thats only because the weapon requires at least 15 int to use, but if u want level ur Int higher because their are other things u want to use that require more Int, then its fine to level it more. Also, since this is a Str scaling weapon, that would be the thing i would level the most to get the most damage out of it.

Man I'd love to see some buffs and fixes to the roar medallion and Godfrey icon. Seems like there are several things they should work for and don't, and they're underwhelming even in when they're used properly.
