How We Run our Pasture Raised Heritage Turkeys

We love turkeys at Laughlin Highlands Farm! We raise our turkeys on pasture, and feed them a non-GMO feed that is made over in Greenville, OH at Kraut Creek Feed. We specialize in both heritage Narragansett birds as well as the standard Broad Breasted Whites. We order our turkey poults from Meyer Hatchery in Polk, OH.

Do you have any aerial predictor problems with your🦃?

@@ronaldharmon9891 thankfully, we do not. We put them outside when they are large enough that I think they scare the hawks away. We have to worry more about our chickens. We also have them relatively close to the house in the barnyard, so I think that helps.
