Same!
It's always the hour-length videos that get us
ARE YOU STALKING ME WHY IS THIS TRUE
wow
I searched for paid online courses for motion graphics animation but most of it are outdated designs. Now I saw you giving tutorial for modern motion graphics AND FOR FREEEE. YOU'RE SUCH A BLESSING! THANK YOU!
Happy to help!
My whole Motion Design career started with your videos like 4 years ago. Now I found this great tutorial and already got some pro techniques that I didn't knew (the animated grain will be my new favorite for sure!). Thank you for sharing your knowledge with the world. You definitely changed my life, I really hope life gives back great things to you :)
Glad to help!
Which video did you start with! I want to learn motion design? Where do I start please?
So much great hints! Super resource! Thank you so much!
What a precious series! Thank you so much!🙏🙏🙏
Thank you for your tutorials. Very detailed and consistent. Please consider having a course outline . and host a class.
Your video was very helpful, I'm still learning and getting the hang of it still. I'm into House and EDM. I look forward to seeing more of your

Thank you for the help my man it's 100% working
Awesome!!!!! Thank you so much!
You're welcome!
Yeah thank you so much for this video its amazing! and a great tip to improve these videos to make them shorter and get more watch time is to zoom through repeat actions once you've done them more than 3 times. Slowing the video down again only once you are showing something new and reemphasizing something
Sure thing!
that is so nice. impressive designe...💯
Thanks for this tutorial, but I really had to watch it over and over to learn what you did
Thats usually how tutorials work :)
Motion design so hard for me, but your videos helping me out there, thanks ☺

Great Tutorial Man!!
Thankyou!
bro just one word awesome 😇
omg this is GREAT - can't wait to figure out how to do this for my illustrations (trying to pick one will be hard lol). Timestamps would be SUPER useful for this (even just for eps 1-4!). Thanks !!!
Bro it’s very intimidating! I’ve been slacking on it for a month now. The symbols are very confusing. You have to train your mind to
Excellent

thank you for your tutorials
Glad you like them!
Have a question: motion design is only animation? Im asking this because I thought motion design was like a animation (motion) with design = patterns / style of everything. In this tut I get only the animation or Im missing something? But I learned a lot with this tut. Thanks 😊
Merci beaucoup, j'ai très apprécié...
Great Work Brother 🥰
Thanks!
i never make a comment on youtube, but you know what? thx from the depth of my heart
Great list almost used all the hacks.. but pr pro is love ❤️

thank you my teacher
This is a really informative video, thank you for posting. I'm curious if you ever use Adobe Freaco in your workflows and if it helps save any time? I was thinking if you did the work in Fresco you would probably save the time recreating in Illustrator?
Fresco wasn't really a thing when this came out, you could definitely use it in the workflow
I love soft soft so so so so much!
Thanks!
No problem!
I've been struggling to find an soft soft tutorial. I haven't watched yours yet but if the actual company is telling you nice job, then I'm
I am kind of stuck on the part of making the animated grain and then making a copy and putting it on the other layers. How do I do that part? I just know I am missing something somewhere. Then the part that you changed the time from 2 seconds to 20 seconds. Do I have to open each comp and change the setting in each one or is there a setting to change it on the whole animation. I am very new to After Effects only been playing around with it for about a week or so. I have learned a great deal from what you are showing in this series though so thanks for all your dedication to making a great video.
I got the part of changing the time to 20 seconds now. lol. I still do not understand what I am doing for the mask part just can not get that part. Oh well. I still did learn a great deal from this.
If you're that new to after effects I'd suggest starting with my intro to motion graphics series, in that series I explain in detail the basics of working in after effects. Well done for persevering though, this is a complex animation.
@@TipTut Thanks. I stated with this one first then when I got to the After Effects part I went to Adobe's web site and watch some there to get a feel for it then I did watch the series you mentioned as well and did learn more there as well. I do know more now about After Effects so I am learning for sure. The grain part is what is the confusing part to me. I know I will get it though just have to keep rewatching it.
And I like your sense of humor haha
Awesome Content. I'm from Pakistan. And love you bro.
Thankyou!
love this tutorial keep it up bro!
Thanks, will do!
In quarantine and my brain just burst ♀️
where I’d record one track of the soft and than use a second Edison to record scrubbing through the soft to mimic a wave table.
Concerning the strip shapes like the vines and any thin shape, is there any reason why you still made it a shape instead of a stroke? It would have been simpler to do it because you only have to make open-ended lines and shift the strokes' width. Just wanted to know your thought process as a professional artist :)
Stroke Width wasn't a thing in this version of After Effects, I'd do it that way now we have the functionality :) Like I did in this video: ua-cam.com/video/CjeM0uZpMpY/v-deo.html
Nice
Would it be possible to just do the noise/grain effect in after-effects without photoshop? i just dont see the point of going in photoshop when you redo the grain in after-effects anyway, but maybe i'm missing something. I'm gonna get started on this tutorial now, it seems great! Thank you!
Yep you definitely can it's just a bit more intensive memory wise.
@@TipTut when you create something from start to finish the way you do it is the right way probably, thanks for the answer!
I feel you!
1:48:00 using rd_compostion setter can change multiple setting composes at one click
thanks
If i want to add background sound..should I add it in after effect or in premiere ?
Whatever you prefer, both work!
You got some tutoring skills man 🤙🤙🤙 Far better when you have someone with an english accent hahah.
It's a BRITISH accent, good sir. :'D
@@TipTut that's what the yanks would call it cos they dont realise Wales Scotland and Ireland are all different countries lol
could i remake that same lighter you made on that video to practice on my own skills, and then upload my own version to social media?
Of course!
oh yeaaaa
Woohoo!
What a legend 💯
You're a legend!

@ 10:45 I'm having trouble intersecting my mountain lines with the mountain.
Okay, I'm going to ask the "remedial" question that gets the eye-rolls from the rest of the class for all the other real, REAL, beginners who know nothing about nothing! HOW did you even get the sketch from paper onto your computer and into Illustrator? Did you draw it on paper, scan it and somehow get it into illustrator? How? That's how new I am. I've literally never done that b4 and don't know how it works. Anybody wanna answer?? :)
I drew the sketch in Photoshop, but you could take a picture of it on your phone and e-mail it to yourself or upload to a cloud drive :)
Just about to smash my keyboard, cannot get the lines to intersect the moon, I've done it 5 times and it doesn't work. It's so fu%king frustrating. At this rate it will take me a month to do this turtorial.
yes
Much love

Rather than using Photoshop, can we import these Illustrator files to Procreate then to AfterEffects???. I love working with my Apple Pencil! PS: thank you for the the tut, it’s tremendously helpful 🙏🏽
