- By far the dumbest game I've played in a long time, and I wanted to immortalize it through something more reliable than Master Duel's Replay system. It was my rank up game too.
It's hard to find good Dragonmaid Sheou art to use, so what I used for the thumbnail was an extended version of the art done by PtCl4.
I genuinely can't believe so many people are watching this replay.

You played this really well and I now have a better understanding on how the graveyard effect works

Paleozoics can't actually chain block other trap cards. Sheou is only able to negate if you have a House Dragonmaid in the extra deck to swap out, and they were only playing 2. I actually figured this out during the game, because at 6:20 (replays don't show it) they didn't get a response for my Justi-Break. I was planning on using Imperm to counter that negate, but it never came, so I used it instead on one of the normal dragons, because they had protection. I can't believe people are actually watching this video, but I'm glad you enjoyed watching it!

did they change dragonmaids I thought they were suppose to distrupt and send cards back to your hand
Dragonmaids do bounce things back to hand with their trap cards. Thankfully, I didn't have to deal with that this game. My dumb Paleozoic deck can't really deal with that kind of removal. Sheou was the main threat this game, and that card is just an omninegate.
also a bunch of the Paleos are unaffected by monster effects. Thats why House didnt just nuke the board

this kinda deck is simply useless in an annoying way, like ye u gonna annoy ur opponent for like 7 or 8 turns then lose
Yeah, the deck's pretty bad. I don't even run Needlebug Nest despite it being perfect for Paleozoics. I also could easily run cards like Infinite Impermanence instead of regular Mirror Force. I never really expected anyone to think the deck was good either. It's just what I ended up making after messing around with the archetype for a while. It does win me a surprising amount of games, at least, enough to slowly make my way up ladder.
Smartest dragonmaid player istg he waisted like 5 pops on unaffected cards oml, then again I guess you could say he was playing around Waking the dragon? Lol
