Since making this I've also fitted a set to a Schuberth C5, where the results are even better. Overall I'm really happy with the Schuberth C5 and IASUS XSound 4 speakers, coupled with a Cardo Edge, as my main helmet setup.

Correct. IASUS were kind enough to let me know too! I never have a problem unfolding my ears, but I can't say the same for Dumbo! 🐘

FYI Those 2 white rings split from the center. THey're actually the velcro sticker stuck together.

I think you only needed to use the double sided circular thingy. That should have done it without making them protrude out.
