So I went from level 1 fresh character to 284 corruption in 2 days time, with the lowest level and the some of the worst gear I have ever put on a character. Imagine the AoE size if I went MG. Might become a project at a future date.

I Love explosive arrow and the best way i found without bugs is fire explosive arrow with Dragonsong trapper .. and it's pretty fun .. the only downside it require at least 1 T7 ring throw & mana cost ..

I feel like PoE and especially Tornado Shot has kinda tainted the Idea of playing Ranger for many people, as the "1 click and screen goes boom" class, so its interesting to see how other games approach the ranger playstyle. I just dont know why anyone would go through all these very active moves,, wait for detonate, to do decent damage and clear lmao

Remember this is CoF in a 2 day period, this build actually hits pretty hard, and its aoe can eventually get humongous with actual investment, whether that be time in CoF or an evening refining with Merchants Guild. Always take into a grain of salt of how long it took me to get to said result. I am pretty sure if I swapped over to MG now I could double the aoe and quadruple the damage comfortably. But you are right, EHG has had a weird prejudice towards Marksman/Ranger style builds, and this is no different.

@Dr3adful Fair enough, you are fully right with that ofc. Maybe the power will be that big that its all worth it at the end. Just as a bow enjoyer always felt weird about some of the very combo heavy approaches and how much you rely on getting the base crit on any build

That's more of a problem with EHG's approach to Marksman in general, than this specific build. They went very hard into the one big hit KO rogue stuff, and penalized heavily the pew pew playstyle.
