Beautiful Quilt ... I never saw the long arm machines at work... really very interesting and now I understand the purpose of machine ... It sure saves time and can mass produce beautiful artisans works.
They are interesting, mine is hand guided. I am the one moving the machine to create the designs. There is the option of having it computerized and you can program the stitch designs. I chose not to go that route, I love being the artist of the stitches. Thank you for commenting.
Lovely quilting, lovely quilt - thank you. I love the leaf pattern in the surround - would be great for sashing. Newbie here, although I've had mine for since the Christmas before, so far only quilted 4. I'm trying to finish my pile of unfinished tops - rule is finish one and then quilt. I'm diving in the deep end with them and playing as I go. I do enjoy as much as I enjoy watching quilting videos - very relaxing!
Hi, It is called ‘custom’ quilting and the quilt owner requested this type of quilting. These details in the stitching brings out all the work the sewer did in piecing. You could do an all-over stitching design, and it would be nice too.
me again... I was wondering if you can program your machine to do your own custom stitching as well? I love the "fishes"!! the big one, then the littler guy in the other part of the triangles...! LOL

I really like the Color’s in this quilt. Can you explain why you have to do all the fine sewing inside the different elements of the pattern?

No my machine is not computerized. It is computer ready but I choose not to go that route. Thank you and I am glad you enjoyed watching the process.
