Red Alert: Classic Porsche 911 low voltage!

As I was out driving today my 12v volt digital gauge starting blinking warning me of low voltage. Well I'm filming the good, the bad, and the ugly of ownership of these machines and I just hit a minor speed bump but it's a RED ALERT nevertheless since I can't drive it. I don't mind spending time with the car working on it, but my endless summer epic July 4th Porsche driving weekend just got tossed aside for some DIY wrenching. I'll film whatever I do to get it fixed it myself in future videos. Even if a nut came loose, lol.

Good idea with the volt display in the cig light. Maybe its the bushes in the alternator thats worn out. You can just replace thoses.

@@john2ndname I got the alternator out this morning and filmed that. Checked the exciter wire as well. Still no smoking gun. Look for the video soon.

@@3.2Carrera my alternator stopped charging in my bmw e36 and it was the bushes it cost me $5 for a pair! replaced them good as new.
