I hope you will consider finding and posting these shows. They are wonderfully entertaining, and at less than 30 minutes, they're perfect.
Thanks as always.
Thanks for watching!
So fun to watch, I’m enjoying this show!
(I only found the Maid to be a poor actor, re below.)
Thankyou 🎉
You’re welcome 😊
Ahhh, the good old days of television when you could get a murder mystery in half an hour. I wish they'd bring some of these back, they were great shows.
Mary wasn't blonde.
Like, Tom Conway's personality, as an actor. Especially in, Universal's 2nd., mummy movie; 'The Mummy's Hand' (1942, I think). What the boys should've done, when those models came in, is have them light, their own cigarettes. See maybe one of them is clumsy enough, to break a match, like the one's found, at the crime scene. Why would that Miss Edmunson, have a painting (even though, it's a photograph. Look at the shadow, behind her) hanging on her wall, portraying a woman, whom she doesn't even know, from a painter, who trying something inappropriate, with her🤔??? That Sargent Maloney, sure is stupid🤭………
betty wasnt dead she went on to father knows best
The real Betty Anderson. I was thinking the same thing.
Why do I get the feeling the actors were phoning it in? I’ve seen better acting on OTR shows. And Tom Conway was certainly capable of better acting. Just goes to show: television acting was still in its infancy and learning how to do it.
To be fair, the script really didn't call for much in the way of acting.
@@geoffreypiltz271 True enough. I'm a fan on OTR, especially detective and police shows, and it's pretty clear which ones had good writers and which ones didn't. The early days of TV had some classic shows, but most of them were dreck. Sturgeon's Law: 99% of science fiction is dreck, but, then again, 99% of EVERYTHING is dreck.
The maid was horrible
Came to say that- the actress plsying the maid is shockingly BAD !
Conway like his brother, George Sanders, couldn't give a bad performance even if they were asleep... @@elliottschertzer876
@@poorthing Wow, didn't know they were brothers😯!!

Thank goodness for that.
