  • Easy Garam Masala At Home | Tasty Garam Masala Recipe | खुशबूदार और टेस्टी गरम मसाला घर पर

    North Indian garam masala
    Coriander seeds 4 tbsp
    Jeera 2 tbsp
    Bayleaf 4-5 pcs
    Cinnamon 4 inch pc
    Dry red chilli 5 pcs
    Nutmeg ½ pc
    Green cardamom 1 tbsp
    Mace 1 tbsp
    Dry rose petals 2 tbsp
    Black cardamom ½ tbsp
    Black pepper ½ tbsp
    Cloves ½ tbsp
    Heat a pan, add coriander seeds, jeera, bayleaf, cinnamon, dry red chilli, nutmeg and roast them on low flame. Roast them for 3-4 mins and keep aside.
    Heat another pan, add green cardamom, mace, dry rose petals, black cardamom and lightly toast it on low flame. Stop roasting them once it releases aroma.
    Roast black pepper and clove separately.
    Spread all the roasted masala on a plate and cool them down.
    Add these roasted spices to a mixer grinder.
    Grind them by pulse mode, make sure the mixer won't get too hot.
    Once grinder to a fine powder, store it in an airtight container.

    Excellent presentation.
    Just a quick clarification- Kalpasi is not thippili, but stone flower. It is used in chettinad masala and typically not in other regions of the south. Chettinad masala also has a higher black pepper content than other masalas.

      Kalpasi or Dagad phool is used a lot in Maharashtrian recipes.

      Thank sir itane jaladi reply ke liye. Itane jaldi reply koi nahi deta. Aap itane busy aur मशहूर होने के बावजूद itane jaldi reply. Yahi chhoti batte insan ko दूसरो से alag karati hai. Aap sahi me bahut bada dil rakhate hai. Aur अहंकार नही hai,आपको, u tub ke to aapake sabhi recipe dekhati hu. Tv par papad aachar wala show bhi dekhati hu badhiya hai sir show. India ki best 50 dishes wala show bhi बहुत अच्छा था। Mai recipe banati hu badhiya ban jaati hai. Taarif karate hai sab. शादियों मे banane wala khana wo bhi accha tha. वैसे aapake saare show dekhati hu. बनाती हु aapki fan hu. Thanks

    Chef. Roast as much as u want. Grind on the Grinder(sil batta). Cook immediately. Goes a long way. Why store?
