Maaan, you've introduced me to Motor Town: Behind the Wheel, a game with very satisfying driving and interesting depth in gameplay mechanics. Games with that colorful, cartoony art kind of turn me off, but I gave it a chance and it's a great game that relaxes me while I listen to my music in the background. Thanks so much for including it!
How much gameplay is there right now? I've been thinking about buying it now that I have a good wheel and pedals, but it's still Early Access and I try to avoid Early Access if possible. Is there enough to do currently that it's worth a purchase?
BeamNG does have a WIP carrer mode, and you can access it by clicking the Carreer Mode button on the main menu a few times, and it includes missions, deliveries, races, a currency system, buying, selling and tuning cars and even a simulated insurance system. The only downside is it's still a WIP so save games more often than not break between updates and you have to start again.
I would say Euro Truck Sim2 is VERY MUCH a game for casual, relaxing driving, exactly like American Truck Sim. I have them both and the only difference is the trucks and the landscape.
When I said casual I meant a game where you can just start driving without learning the mechanics. It is a relaxing game, but gameplay-wise it's not casual (compared to games like Lake where you just hit the gas and start driving without thinking about changing gears, turning signals, etc.)
I want to second the arguments pro "relaxing while playing/driving". I loved OMSI 2 in former times (bus driving on different realworld maps), I enjoy occasionally ATS & ETS2 since 10 years, I drive buses in Tourist Bus Sim and The Bus (of course). I also liked LAKE very much for it's charming story, characters, and graphics and I have the feeling, I should take a look to Cloudpunk (didn't know this!). Normally I'm over 25 years connected to flight simming. So everyone can guess, I'm not 16 anymore and you were right again when saying "You will understand when you are older". Great overview, thank you for that!
Personally I quite enjoyed Alaskan Road Truckers, Ive got ETS and ATS but this it a different kind of game, I felt cold while leaving the cab lol, there is a survival aspect to the game.
Thanks for understanding my feelings when describing Bus Simulator 21 😅 Maybe one note here. I understand the disclaimer from the beginning about not including race games. But as you've added Mad Max and Driver SF (which I have), maybe the latest Test Driver could be added? I don't have this one to confirm, but if it's like the TD Unlimited series (which I have both too), it also had slow driving missions.
Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown? It's a racing game, is it not? And it's not good from what I can see, but I could be wrong though. Next video will be about open world racing games and there will be Test Drive Unlimited 1 & 2 btw
@@tim3172 To achieve what...exactly? The voice is just gonna be the same lol. Again, the AI voice is the exact clone of my own voice recording. And yes, I'm not a very good voice actor lol
Both GTA V and Cyberpunk 2077 aren’t very good driving games. In GTA if you’re parked in the road for too long, the car behind you will try to drive around you. Wouldn’t be so bad if the cars could recognize when you are or aren’t in a traffic queue, but sadly, they can’t. NPCs will try to drive around you and ram into another car if you’re in traffic. Cyberpunk 2077 has this same issue, but with the added issue of lights automatically turning green when you approach them (GTA might also have this issue, I haven’t played it enough to know.) There are mods you can install to prevent this if you’re on pc, and tapping the forwards and backwards buttons every 10 seconds will prevent the car behind you from ramming you, but just be warned if you’re buying the game just for the driving.
i have motor town and ats now! having fun with both of them. Now currently waiting for taxi life, or beamng for offers! heard taxi life still have alot of bugs, while beamngs career mode is still in WIP, not sure if my pc can even handle that game! still trying to find other games that i may like though!
I was considering it but the world is kinda empty, you can drive around but there's nothing to do, unlike GTA where there are many side missions and collectibles.
All the clips used in this video are linked in the description. Go check them out!
And this list isn't in any particular order, just so you know.
BeamNG DOES HAVE missions and levels, the career mode says "coming soon" but you can click it, and it actually has a great base for a game!
It does, but in my opinion that's not what the game is good for since it was conceived to a be a sandbox vehicle physics sim game
@RacingXTV well, i already prefer it over ETS1.
Also, SnowRunner is one of my favorite games, and i did not like what they did with Expeditions.
BeamNG has missions and scenarios...
Oui, mais les missions sont nulles il faut le reconnaître …
its not a "game" per se. yet
Enhorabuena pareja, qué alegría!! :D

Try Lake while you're at it, although it's much simpler than Motor Town

I was considering OMSI 2 but goddamn the graphics aren't just the nicest. Yeah, thanks man for watching and leaving a comment!
Great picks! Thanks for this profound experience! 😎
Glad you enjoyed it!
thank you love your videos
Glad you like them!

Yes, it's the surviving in cold winter aspect that makes it unique!
Good Video, Im definetly gonna try Police Simulator and Motor Town.
If you want mostly driving, Motor Town is really great!
@@RacingXTV Thank you😁
Hello, i need your help, I tried Motor Town but as soon as i open it, my screen starts to flick and Motor Town is crashing.
Sooo what can i do?
The Slaverian Trucker was missed. Be sure to check it out if you still haven't!
Ohh I should check it out! Thanks for telling me!
All those games is so niche but i love them all 😍🤩
Yes, open world driving games aren't just that popular, most people expect racing games
You left out Star Trucker, which provides American-style trucking in open-world space through several star systems. :)
I was considering it actually, but it feels more like a spaceship game rather than an open world trucking game.
Thanks for understanding my feelings when describing Bus Simulator 21 😅

@RacingXTV About Solar Crown, I dunno. But both Unlimited were both racing and driving.
Test drive unlimited 2 is TERRIBLE. Don't ever think about buying that. I love both the truck simulator games mentioned in this video.
Driver San Francisco was amazing.. holds up quite well even for today's standards imo
Yes, especially the graphics
i loved motor land! what a cute game. graphics are like firewatch and low poly. please suggest more cute and low poly games.
You mean Motor Town haha? Try Lake if you like cute graphics.
which of these are free for windows desktop
None
Ty for helping! I don't know why you just have 2,250 subscribers! You are like a youtuber with 500,000 subscribers🤗
Thanks! This is a new channel though so 2k subs is a good number I think
@@RacingXTV Oh yeah, now i see you are new, and yeah 2k subscriber is good, But I hope there will be much more!!😉
well done
Thanks!
can any one tell is any of these games is free to play
Depends on how you define free... if you catch my drift
Also Fernbus too.
Almost made it
AI voice generation, coming soon on everything.... (what app or software do you use for that?)
ElevenLabs, I'm using the voice cloning feature to clone my own voice
@@RacingXTV Have you considered just... recording your own voice? It's new and edgy, but it might catch on.

They're not, but since this is an 'open world' driving games list, I think both of them are great games
Yikes.
18:01 thats sad bro...
Depends on how you see it LOL
ong this nigga dissed us all

Maybe try Lake?
So BeamNG its the best for SUV?
That or GTA 5 with mods.
you missed the Mafia game.
I was considering it but the world is kinda empty, you can drive around but there's nothing to do, unlike GTA where there are many side missions and collectibles.
I don't have one of these games.
Maybe try Lake?
@@RacingXTV
Well, why didn't you say so? I will give it a try on the Nintendo Switch.
Android bike games please
I'm not making lists for Android or iOS, sorry
I hate artificial voice overs on any video on you tube and this one is no exception Lost my attention just about 2 minutes in !
Click the dislike button then, it's that easy
City driver is one of the worst game in the world. The concept is cool but the physics...
It’s shite I paid full price aswell utter garbage
I agree, it's more of a game where you learn traffic rules, not necessarily a game where you want to feel the physics of the vehicles
