One reason to pick Viper over Z06: As far as I remember, the Viper gets better scores because it has a greater target time , and in Sector Shootouts also scores higher than the Corvette. Plus when you set them up however you like with Stage 4, the SRT-10 becomes a really amusing monster.
Can confirm the Viper and Corvette ZO6 was awesome, I beat Ryo using the Corvette ZO6 and the Viper was the backup car in that race. Vanilla C6 does just fine in React Team Sessions but becomes long-in-the-tooth in Super Promotion. That being said, you get it after unlocking React, unlike the ZO6 where you have to unlock Super Promotion to get it.

I consider the Ford GT a supercar so it will be tested along with the other rwd supercars.
I can say from my experience that beating rudy chen in a viper is pain so get the corvette💀
