Retribution acts like crush counters minus the dmg, so u can get multiple retributions in 1 combo and u can still get hard KD from sweeps and fwd hp if u hot the right element. I think its cool and Gill is a learning curve
That's it?! That's retribution? Ytf were ppl making his system more complicated than it should be? Ur opponent can be attacked in 3 states....ice... Fire...or none...if you attack ur opponent in no state then you get normal combo damage and no effects... Attack them when they're on fire or ice state (which you can put them in with ex moves or you hit them with one Element then immediately attack them with the opposing element) and you get specific different effects....fire=more damage and ur white life continues to go down....ice=more stun and their stun bar doesn't deplete...ppl made it seem like they couldn't explain it fully
I saw Nemo set it up by performing the knee drop right after so that he jumps to the other side so that the opponent has to block in a different direction
I suck at the timing of qcf/qcb lk after the f.hk are there any cues or something I can use to get the timing? I either input too fast so it doesnt come out or wait too long and the opponent already hits the ground.
The recovery ends just as Gill's leg retracts and is about to touch the ground. Remember that you can buffer specials out of recovery frames, so you won't need to be super precise. If you're close you can get both hits of the lariat and that will require even less timing, as the hitbox is bigger.
Some of Gill's moves inflict a fire or ice debuff on the opponent. If Gill hits the opponent with opposite element attack while the first debuff is still up, he will get Retribution.
Gill's EX moves and VT specials inflict an ice or fire state on hit. While that state is active, any normal or special with the opposing element that hits will trigger Retribution.
Fantastic stuff Mir :-D. Gill in the right hands is gonna be a real beast.
Sick Damage 💥💥
Gill has the most unique and interesting combo system in the game, can't wait to see how the pros handle him.
One of Gill's balls is blue the other is red. I'm talking about his manjornos, not projectiles.
Ok
Fire and Ice u mean
But not in the areas you'd expect.
What about his dick
many routes I didn't consider, good stuff!

Love your work. But in the future, do you mind putting total damage of each combo? Much appreciated.
Damage amounts are displayed by the game.
It's on screen though
He does Hella damage
Thanks guys love you all
Anyone know how his vt2 mixup works people just hold down back when I do it
If you do the set up right then the ice trap hits as a cross up. So if they down back it should hit them
'I think' you're doing the trap onto side switch sequence too late maybe

After Seth is released on champion edition as the 40th character, will there be more characters coming to SFV?
Jedi Master Yoda probably not
i will tell my cats about it :) lol
Where did you get your arcade stick?
Cant u punish a move with high recovery by using his v skill?
Music?

@@mir2266 Thanks for the advice Mir. I'll keep practicing. Great video
I’m still confused on how Retribution works
Fire move > ice move = more juggle state = combo extensions
Some of Gill's moves inflict a fire or ice debuff on the opponent. If Gill hits the opponent with opposite element attack while the first debuff is still up, he will get Retribution.
Retribution only activates with ex moves or V trigger activated
Gill's EX moves and VT specials inflict an ice or fire state on hit. While that state is active, any normal or special with the opposing element that hits will trigger Retribution.
Hey how could you play Gill? SFVCE hasnt release yet
