The one thing I've wanted every fighting game to do is make it clear when something is a counter hit. Right now hit confirming on ch requires you to look at your side of the screen, it needs some visual indicator that doesn't pause the game like cc.
It was pretty hard for me to confirm counter hit at first. But with enough training, I was able to confirm counter hit without having to look for it. I can indirectly confirm it by the color of yellow popping up in the screen without having to read it. As yellow is the only color for counter.

Ctrl alt delete. Find the sf5 program go to properties, affinity. Uncheck cpu 0. That helped me on my older computer. Since getting a new computer with better graphics card processor n ram itsx not been as much of an issue.
I think Season 5 is looking great so far. VS2 has done a lot to freshen up the game. However, I'm disappointed that Zangief's VS2 is handicapped by the fact that it's not armored until frame 4. Very disappointing to try walking up to Menat, use the new tool they gave you to supposedly help in matchups like this, and get a crush counter to the face for your troubles.
@@coldspine2490 it's -4 on block. And fully charged is irrelevant since it takes 3 seconds to charge. VS1 is armored frame 1. So yeah, would actually make the move useful.

Akuma's health nerf doesn't make sense considering literally everything else he had before, has already been nerfed. His air fireball mixup, his standing MK, his throw (warranted), his cr MP to st MP, etc etc.
Bro if you got the right read on the jump out of the corner you wouldn't be getting anti aired. Especially if the grappler did a command grab. There's no way a grappler wiffed a command grab and is anti airing you after.
Given that this is probably the last year Capcom has Season 5 and maybe also Season 6 to work on Street Fighter V before we get Street Fighter VI on PS5.
So it took 4 fucking years for this game to become something decent, its just sad that this year is the last year of SFV, is something like waking up and dying lol
I like to think that is supossed to be a character who almost won´t get hit in a fight, he is a master beyond almost all the roster of the game, in a canon fight Akuma would barely get hit, so if you play with him, you are supossed to be just like him, some kind of pro who destroys his rivals.
Also coupled with the fact that akuma places a handicap on himself intentionally he doesn’t fight seriously until he’s shin or true akuma so he fights as normal Watered down akuma until a challenger is worthy for him getting serious or strong enough he still has two forms to go
I'd like to think that for all the pluses that the Dark Hado gives, the negatives got to go somewhere or it'd be a straight broken power. In this case, he's got the best tool kit, can teleport and dodge opponents but it weakens his overall health forcing him to get good at dodging/oppression.
I’m pretty much in and out of SFV because I don’t have the time to adequately develop my skills. Idu the stun scaling compared to health. Why would stun gauge be a higher # than health? Ie he said someone has 900 health and 950 stun.
Not much has changed, really. Karin is still OP and Rashid went bonkers with the things he can do thanks to his VS2. Some bottom tiers got better, but you're still NOT seeing any Nash or Vega winning a big tournament. This is the season we all know for sure that Capcom either have no idea how to balance a game or they make certain characters OP because there are fanboys inside.
Gief Grief I doubt it. She still struggles vs zoners as her v skill that should have made the match up better is trash. She is probably top ten but farm from one in my opinion. I could be wrong.
Fang, Cammy and Juri might as well have no v-skills at all because they both suck horrendously. Juri is even worse as her v-reversal is slow af and both VTs are a joke. Chun's vs1 is decent, and both her VTs are good.
I'm finding FANG's V skill kinda useful, especially against characters like Cammy, Bipson and Necalli, who have predictable blockstrings and 3 frame interrupts

Why does Karin have more health and stun that Cammy when she is way better? Other characters got their anti air normals nerfed but Karin still keeps her dumb anti air jabs.
Karin can cover a lot of space in seconds, and way better footies techniques. And many save on block. Basically more arsenal. On the other hand, Cammy lacks on all that. She basically depends on her walk and hit-confirm everything (because otherwise she is dead) Also the fact she needs to be right infront opponent's face to do something, with that low hp and stun, internet lag, zoning characters, confirming badly, or depending on the "rock-paper-scissors" wake-up system after a simple knock down, it's always a high risk for her in comparison to others with higher HP. Basically, Cammy players depends A LOT of reaction time, for AA with Cannon Spike. Because bs.mp is a fake AA now and the bs.HK is just a slow guessing AA. Cammy for noobies is a myth.

Is 1100 health really that crazy? Didn't Gief have 1200 in sf4, and seth like 700? Difference between 1050 and 1100 isn't that much.
It's massive. In case you don't know you take lower damage as your health bar get's lower so those extra points mean a lot.

CAs are already really redundant and serve as little more than combo enders. Adding second CAs would basically be for the sake of cosmetics.
All of these change do not improve the quality of the game. Without viable defensive options this game will remain trash.
