The annotations are very helpful, it helps me to understand more and build on what your team/Khoa has found. I look for them in the video description for every combo video you release (thank you for them)... A special thank you to Khoa for creating this guide :)
Vesperboiii, Thnx so much for this vid. Ive missed some easy confirms when i practiced so this helps out a lot. Youre my favorite street fighter informer so keep it up dude!
Well, in the arcade mode, when you face him as a boss, he has both vtriggers at the same time, always on, he even has the meteor super from sf3, and he has his fucking ressurection... so, yeah, thats what you call a boss.
Because Capcom translates the JP script but sometimes they need to add words to fit the total runtime of the animation. Urien has the same thing, and many other characters I believe
Thank you as always, Vesper! Did they nerf him? Granted, hes only been out a day. But, it doesn't seem like many people are able to pull off the long combos from his reveal.
True. Its bcs u have to make setups with the fire and ice element so that they bounce harder when attacked with the opposite element. And its hard to learn. I can do like 7 long combos with him. But he is hard to learn. Urien is fairly easy compared to him. At least in the beginning haha
I say just give it some time. Pro players and good players will have to take a lot of time to fully learn Gill before mastering him. As Hyuga Gray said, "he is hard to learn". Gill has so many combo routes set ups with Retribution. So learning all those routes plus frame perfect Retribution routes will take a hefty amount of time. By the first premier tournament of next season, and if Gill wasn't touch in a patch that may drop when Seth release, you can expect some players to have become good with him. I'm excited to see how other handles him in tournaments ^_^
@@Hinaatje how does he compare to cammy for difficulty of the combo/damage dealt by said combo? Because if i judge by this video, it seems that cammy's combo are easier and deal more damage damage.
How do you link ex dp to air fireball consistently? What are the inputs? It is either my dp does not come , or it is late. Do you dp when the fireball touches the opponent in the air? Before ? After?
@@VesperArcade : yes. After the fireball, I am holding forward; then as soon as it hits the opponent in the air, I go down forward, forward, 2 punches again.
Alright, I finally got it. Instead of doing the dp motion as ➡️↘️➡️ ( which for some reason triggers ➡️HK instead); I used ↘️⬇️↘️. It works consistently now
You know the real problem with fighting games they keep buffing and nerfing them just make the characters the way their suppose to be and stop messing with them this nerf crap wasn't around when I was growing up you either got good or you lost that simple
Well some things sound good on paper but in execution they don't come out as intended so buffs and nerfs help fix that (as well as help make certain characters viable and keeping things more varied so that the same 3 characters aren't only being used)
Thanks to Khoa for creating this combo guide! Don't forget that annotations are in the video description, enjoy!

The bastard actually has Resurrection when you play against him as a boss in arcade mode (only in the SF3 mode of course)
Don’t tell ltg and his hive mind. They pissed for some reason. Technically if he could use it, he wouldn’t be low tier and even more of a hypocrite
I don't think gill is gonna shake out to be low tier
3:16 notation error. Gill's DP is K, not P

The real boss is Gill not Bison or Seth.
Sagat: "Am I a joke to you?"
@@therandompizaguy I think Sagats a joke to everyone at this point lol

shut up final boss is Guy with RED HAT.
wow this is toooo good,I'm looking for a gill guide like this
Thanks buddy for the vid. Tryna learn gill instead of grapplers
This character is very fun so far. Has me excited to learn. I think I've gone as far as I can with Rog, Ryu, and Ed.
i cant hit that 2 ex corner combo i feel like i dont have enough recoveryafter ex pyro
pro tip: never attempt to jump in on Gill...mad aa damage!
very good combos after discover my characters get good gill is next not going be easy and going be awhile but he looks so fun.
Y is the caption different at gills intro? He says sonething like 'that is the truth of what you must seek
Kage has had the samething

Ok but can't the caption be edited to fit the voice? Seems like it'd be a minor fix but correct me if I'm wrong
So this is what happens to Todoroki once he grows up....
xD
So I guess this his illuminati grandfather???
Just thought I’d mention if you’re going for a hp fireball, into an ex lariat, your second lariat can be a heavy. Also, any blockstrings?
I cant combo ex fireball into cr.mp is there something I’m doing wrong ?

St.lk can combo into qcf/qcb.mk
May I know how to do the DP+PP? Cause I can’t do it even though my click was correct or I misunderstood it
It's kick not punch
It's a notation error... it's DP+KK, not PP.
Can’t you do Medium Cyber Lariats when you land St. or cr. medium punch? And also cr. medium kick?
wut means bnb?
Bread and butter.
yo how do you connect EX qcf [lp+mp] into c.mp? lab says ex fireball is +2 on hit?
If you space it you can make cr mk into ex fireball plus 8 on hit

So if you pre order the championship edition and already owning the arcade edition you won’t get gill right away?
If you upgrade to champion, yes you will unlock Gill right away

Nvm just had to restart the game

Instead he has "My perfection requires no training" which radiates god energy
